My family & I hired Cross Town Movers to move us out of Quail Run Apartment to a new. What a mistake & a JOKE.
1. The Movers were 30 minutes late for our scheduled time.
2. The quoted certain amount of time to move us totally out and delivered to our new homes of 3 hours. After 3 hours the 3 movers had only one of the 2 apartment packed in the Truck.
The packing in the Truck was CRAP & Messy & unorganized.
3. You talk about slow, I believe blind movers could have done the job faster & more professionally. All 3 men walked and stumbled around like lost sheep. One of the movers could only carry one kitchen chair at a time to the truck, come in. 3 all the movers couldn't figure out how to pack, nor what to carry out the truck without being instructed and told in a detail & specifically step by step.
4. Unprofessional in all the ways you can think of. The leader of this 3 men moving team couldn't give directions nor lead his helpers if his life depended on it. All 3 men were Cussing while on the job. Especially in front of all family, while working.
5. The movers were so bad, it finally came down that my brother had finally, told the 3 movers try to finish moving the heavy furniture and pack the truck. Then our family will the finish moving ourselves. After 4 hours only one apartment was just packed in the truck. Maybe not even half of the 2nd apartment was moved or packed the truck.
6. It got to the point, the so-called told my family that they were going to start charging per mile, plus going charge $300.00 extra to move a small Gun Safe Really.
7. All 3 movers stood around and started at other not knowing what to do with being instructed. After 4 hours one apartment was load in the truck, not even moved to the new location.
8. Finally after 4 hours later the movers had delivered everything from one apartment to our new house. They scratched our new furniture, the hit the walls, they scratched our off desk. Luckily nothing was broken.
9. If anyone out there ever think hiring Cross Town Movers, think again. The 3 Gentlemen we got were horrible, unorganized, rude, and unprofessional. Slow as ever. Cross Town Movers is a Joke & they don't & can't finish a job in a reasonable amount of time.
10. If anyone want or need a Moving Service, do not waste time, nor your money on hiring Cross Town Movers. Cross Town will over charge you, and will finish the job in a reasonable amount of time. The 3 men likes to argue with you. They do not do the job right as they are expected to do. The movers that moved us, couldn't nor finish moving our stuff and placing it where it belongs in our new house. All 3 men complained & Whined about where to put things as instructed. Cross Town Movers over charge and cannot even a the job. Especially the 3 men or the movers that was hired to moved me. Unsatisfying & very unprofessional. Not accountable nor responsible. All 3 men were Rude, Slow and very unorganized, especially very unprofessional. Think again before calling or hiring Cross Town Movers, you'll be very disappointed. read more
