I have been going there since they were in downtown. I don't skateboard but I support the shop and what they do for the local skate scene. I've even made some friends along the way. @ Joze S. Is it me or did anyone else struggle reading this. read more

Best skate-shop, good people and always got something going on. Been going to this shop for a lifetime.

I came in with almost no skateboarding experience and the crew was super patient and helpful. They didn't have the exact deck I was looking for, but they pointed me toward a Birdhouse reissue that fit me perfectly. They set me up with quality trucks, wheels, and bearings, and put it all together right there in the shop. I went home and started skating around my street right away -- totally different feeling than my e-board, but really fun. Great shop with people who actually care about skating. read more

Crooks Skateboard Shop - Skate Shops Near Me - Riverside, California

My go to skate shop in Riverside. The owner is really cool person, and all the guys he has working at the shop are helpful and friendly. Crooks has been a staple in the Riverside/Inland Empire skate community. They have it all from clothing and shoes to hardware and decks. It's your one stop shop to get right and support a local small business! read more

Best place ever !!! This is where I get most of my kicks and constantly win raffle's . ...........................................

Went in today to get some upgraded Wheels, bearings, and trucks for my 30yr old board I found for my daughter. Allen, and I'm not sure the other guys name were super helpful. They took there time to help my daughter decide what she wanted. Super cool vibes, in there. Boards on the wall, shoes on display and cool merch. My daughter was very happy with the upgrades. Thank you Allen and Team you guys are awesome man, glad to support a local business like this read more

Do not buy from this place. Shoes they are selling are defective and they still have them on the shelves to sell. When trying to exchange immediately after purchase, employee was rude and disrespectful. read more

All these negative reviews are backed by misinformation and pettiness. Been going to Crooks for damn near 20 years. I've entered endless raffles here for SB's and I've had my share fair of losses and wins. And no they do not backdoor pairs. You can't hold a Nike SB account for 20 years if you aren't legit. Allen holds fair raffles for locals. Be better people. If you lose a raffle don't blame the shop or spin a false narrative. I won today. But I'll probably lose the next one. That's life. Support your local skate shops!!! read more

POKÉMON RELEASE DAY! Love this shop!! Great customer service!! They had everything organized for this release!! Will come here again!

Sick skate shop! Workers know whats up knowledgeable in their products/merchandise can't complain on prices either they hook it up

Don't shop here they support resellers they posted dunk lows fcfs with rules you had to prove your size, wear them out the store, smashing the box, 1 per person to prevent reselling so people can actually wear them but shortly after saying they sold out I saw resell pages that posted multiple pairs and sizes already having them. I commented on their Instagram post how that was unfair and they blocked me don't support these scummy resellers. read more

ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HANDS DOWN THE BEST SKATE SHOP I'VE EVER BEEN TO! Very helpful staff- they recommended a board for our son - gave us an amazing package deal and then assembled it for us while we waited!! Incredibly professional and insightful opinions on the products they carry...if I knew how to ride a skateboard I'd buy one for myself. Couldn't be happier with this place...you have to get your next (or first) board here! :) read more

Felt completely comfortable making my first purchase; my baby boy will have a great Christmas thanks to the guys at Crooks!

Disappointing. New releases do not sell at retail price and cash only. Something crooked going on. Pun intended.

Dope store the guys were helpful in finding my truck size and help me set up the board. Dope dude definitely check it out

We wanted to get my step daughter her first board for her birthday. My husband is an old school skater so I knew we had to go to a legit place. This place was the business. The main guy there got her all set up. The price was decent too. And best of all it met my husband's approval! read more

Been a friend of this place for quite some time. Independently owned and operated, for skaters by skaters. Nice welcoming atmosphere, great selection of boards, wheels, bearing and trucks. The stuff most large mall skate shops lack. When did skate shops stop caring skateboards? This shop is what skateboarding means to me and countless others. read more

Owners are super rude. Seems very cliquey, etc. I would never go back. Owners aren't very helpful, just want your money. Again, very rude unless you look, talk, or act like a skater. They'll treat you like a joke, and laugh at you as you leave. It's what happened to me. Shop elsewhere, trust me. You don't want to walk into this raggedy old, asbestos-ridden hole anyway. read more

Very neat old school skate shop!!! The staff was very friendly and down to earth. I went in to get some shoes that can only be found at certain stores. The shoes were sold by an in store raffle system. This method is the most fair option. While looking through the store I was stoked to find a shop shirt that I purchased. I saw another review about how they only take cash but I am pleased to tell you that is incorrect. They had no problem taking my card. Next time I'm in the area I plan on stopping by again!!! read more

The best skateboards in the game! Best skate shop ever ! Core and skater owned! Crooks for life

Alan has a great selection of the best skate products and is the nicest dude. Long live crooks fool.

My son saved his money to buy his first "real" skateboard. He researched where to go & read yelp reviews. It brought us here to Crook's! We had no idea what we were doing & Alan was so helpful & made us feel very comfortable. He knows everything there is it know about building a skateboard. Thank you Alan! We will definitely be back someday! read more

Sick independently owned skate shop in Riverside. If you don't want to buy a board from some bro-ho chick working at active or in the mall, and you want to support Riverside skateboarding, than you should buy all your gear from Crooks. They have demos and signings all the time, and they are one of the only small ride shops left in Riverside. Every dollar spent at Crooks, is a dollar to support skaters! read more
