Laid back, full of nature, and the owners and other customers were so friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect mix of high quality wine (literally the best wine I've ever had) with nature and relaxing, unpretentious vibes. It's hippie meets farmer meets wine connoisseur, which is heaven for me. :)

One sweet, which I don't care for sweet wines, the second, which I chose was lacking flavor. No body to the wine. Very disappointing. My wife tried 2 whites, she didn't care for either. They did not have a chardonnay or anything close. The traditional cheese tray was obviously pre- cubed cheeses, some plain soda crackers and a half a peach. I asked about getting a half order or the "gourmet " cheese tray but the server said they don't offer it because everything is pre-proportioned, which leads me to believe it's from Costco or the like. All in all pretty disappointing. Ww love stopping at wineries but unless friends want to go, ill avoid this one. We have frequented the orchard store for decades but even that has gotten so expensive we have cut back.

With a vineyard, fruit tree orchard, full kitchen, gift shop and the most excellent donut truck, this place rocks! The main attraction is a beautifully decorated chalet. Did a flight of every wine they had. Ended up loving three of them, including the Chardonnay, Bourbon Barrel Aged Apple wine, and the Pinnacle Rrd. Got a bottle of Chardonnay for the table and took the other two home. Service was crazy good. Brooke was attentive, quick, and had the nicest smile you've ever seen. She should be on the silver screen! Super friendly, the manager, I think her name was Emily, sat down at our table and exquisitely described each wine while we sampled the precious nectars. The owner also stopped by and explained how he's the third generation of Scottish immigrants growing up on the land we sit on, where his great great grandfather planted the pear trees still producing fruit today. Seeing that this was Mother's Day, they went over the top with a free bouquet of flowers for the moms in our family. Tried the donuts and thought I was going to heaven. Can't wait to stumble across this place again!

The decor is so interesting and tasteful, perfect for the area. The kitchen was equipped with full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, stove/oven and all the other items you could need. We had two children with us, so it was great to have a fully stocked kitchen. Bonus - they have a winery on the property, Rocky Point Winery. It was so fun and convenient to be able to go downstairs and order a glass of wine (beer/mixed drink), enjoy a tasty snack and sit at the lovely patio and garden areas. It has a nice selection of gifts to purchase at the winery as well. As I mentioned, the owner and staff were so accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend the Red Fern Inn for your next stay up at the "islands".

Tucked away in a wooded setting near the Lake Erie shore, Paper Moon has a really cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The indoor tasting area is comfortable and inviting, with board games available to play, and there's plenty of outdoor seating throughout the grass, along with a covered outdoor dining area. It's a great place to relax and spend a leisurely afternoon with friends. It's a casual, counter-service setup. You order your food at the counter/bar area, you're given a buzzer, and then you pick up your food at the counter when it's ready. I ordered the Blackberry Sangria Slush, which was refreshing and perfect for a summer day. For lunch, I had the Hot Italian Panini with chips and a pickle spear. It was tasty and had good flavor, although the panini was a little on the thin side and I would have preferred it to be a bit more substantial. Overall, Paper Moon was a fun stop during our girls' day. I really enjoyed the peaceful, wooded setting and casual atmosphere. It's a great spot to grab a drink, enjoy some food, play a game, and relax with friends.

I was really looking forward to it. But honestly it was awful. Zero blackberry taste. Very disappointed. They have a decent amount of choices I just seemed to choose wrong. They even have a mead. But I got the shandy and just did not like it. They did also have a cider on tape. That's what I should have ordered. They had a wedding on premises. Big tent and it looked sweet. They also had a band playing that evening. Not sure how that would compete with the wedding reception. Lots of people inside and out. Inside has lots of table seating. Outside does as well. This is a nice space. Lots of options. They serve food but we did not get any. Lots of food runners around though. Overall, I'd go back. Just order something else.
