I was having bizarre symptoms that were unfortunately manifesting as dental and sinus symptoms at the time. He completely dismissed me and insinuated that I was possibly making it up. He didn't even take x-rays and barely examined me. Well, turns out, I had lyme disease. My health continued to decline and my most recent doctor discovered that my immune system has been non-functional since a covid infection in 2020 and I have several health issues as a result. This doctor's negligence further delayed my diagnosis. DO NOT GO HERE! PSA for anyone reading this: If you happen to require multiple root canals that don't completely resolve over a short period of time, accompanied by fatigue, brain fog, mild fevers, and sleep disturbances, please reach out to your doctor to look into Lyme disease. Lyme disease is not very well understood by many medical professionals and you must see a Lyme-aware doctor for proper treatment. Lyme can mimic other diseases and is not the same in every patient. https://www.lymedisease.org/dental-professionals-lyme-disease/. I suggest finding a lyme aware doctor from a service like Global Lyme Alliance.

I called the office (after that posting) and asked to speak with the office manager, Sue. I was put on hold, and nobody ever came back to the phone, yet I was then connected to a recording to leave a message. I left a message. Never heard back. I called later in the week and left another message, saying that I would not pay the invoice until I spoke with the office. To this day I have never received a call back. Of course they continue to send me invoices! THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE I HAVE DEALT WITH! In reading earlier reviews of this business, it seems ignoring phone calls is their standard practice. Buyer beware if you choose to use this practice!!

As far as front desk, that lady Kiara is really nice, very professional and idk if I had both assistants I can't remember but they were nice too.

I will forever be grateful for them taking it upon themselves to get me covered by any means. We've all grown up fearing the dentist and how sometimes it can be very painful and uncomfortable. Dr. Vu blew me away with how professional, educated, gentle and caring she was to my needs. I would highly recommend this "Clermont Smiles Dentistry" to all my family, friends and to people whom I don't even know. Clean office, high-end technology, amazing staff and outstanding doctor. I'll be a patient for life.

Staff was nice and facility was clean but that's the only positive thing to say. No matter how good your teeth are, they push the gum cleaning treatment that isn't covered by the insurance and want "routine maintenance" cleanings every 3 months. When I say push I mean PUSH. If you show any hesitation, they try and guilt you into thinking your teeth will fall out if you don't. They gave my wife the same treatment and she's never had a cavity. Looking at the other reviews, it seems to be a common practice. I had done this treatment about 4 years ago and it was about $150 out of pocket bc insurance wouldn't cover it. I came back today to have my teeth cleaned so I took X-rays and they said I had no new cavities. Find out that the hygienist called out after X-rays and won't be getting my teeth cleaned. But Dr Vu made sure to come in and push the same stupid gum treatment plan with 3 month checkups but now instead of $150 out of pocket, it would be $600. They also tried to push some mouth cancer treatment screening too (also not covered by insurance). I pushed back saying I just want what my insurance covers and after a back and forth, she said "if you don't want to do the treatments, then this location isn't for you. ". She's got that right!! I was always skeptical of her before and this was the icing on the cake if I should change dentists. Good riddance!

Week 4 I checked in and was condescended with a speech of it taking 5-6 weeks. It's September--my insurance has since changed & now have to start over--was reminded by the referring dentist ofc that I'm due for my cleaning. Sadly, I can't do that until my tooth is extracted. POINT: This ofc doesn't care. I have NEVER heard of 5-6 wk apv'l process. Referring dentist had no issues. They're obviously too busy to need new clients nor care about them.

I was surprised though at how quickly he did the Botox injections. It took him about, honestly, maybe 10 or so seconds. Poke, poke, poke, poke, and poke. I even expressed my surprise at how quickly he injected it. Usually it takes a minimum of 15 minutes or more. But I figured, this guy's a pro. As the week went by, I realized I wasn't seeing much effect, and really none at all. I had already scheduled a follow-up appointment, at his request, for the following week. I called ahead to let them know that I had not seen any effect, even after 4 days. I figured I'd give it a full seven, but still nothing. Flash forward to a week later. Again friendly staff, friendly doctor. I told him my concerns, and he proceeded to explain how the process works. I closed my eyes thinking, "Here we go. He's going to tell me that I can't expect such dramatic results, etc." He immediately turned. He said, "Are you tuning me out?" and I responded that I thought he was going to tell me that I was expecting too much, or something to that effect. I've had Botox before, and the results were visible. Subtle, but visible. I hadn't even finished my sentence, when he abruptly told me to leave. He said he would refund my money, and that if I wasn't willing to listen to what he had to say, I could leave. I was shocked. All I did was close my eyes. I didn't roll me eyes, or sigh loudly, or cut him off mid-sentence. I was preparing myself for disappointment. That was it. I may have jumped to conclusions. But we've all had experiences where we pay good money for nothing. That's what I thought would happen this time. I lived with a bipolar roommate, and that's what this reminded me of. A sudden change from friendly to hostile. With that all being said, I guess I'm better off. I'd hate to think that he would overdo it out of spite. But that was my experience. I was stunned. I've never experienced anything like that before. (Except for the roommate.)
