A Bunch of friends on Monday nite went to celebrate birthdays we all belong to LA fitness Gym! Most of us hasn't bowled for 20 years! We had so much fun! We all paid 6.00 for Two Hours of bowling and that included shoes! The staff was very nice and helpful! The Barmaid in the Roost was really friendly! Drinks are cheap and best French fries ever had anywhere! Delis! The bathroom was clean but those short doors on bathroom were too funny! Look like they were for kids in school! The whole place was very clean we even brought cake and some snacks they didn't mind a bit! Very fun place will be going back soon! There was 15 of us we were. Loud all nite and no one bothered us in fact some fellow bowlers a few lanes down gave us party girls some pizza! Thanks Fellow Bowlers! read more

We bowled today with a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 kids, one with special needs. I made reservations online and that was very smooth. When we arrived Clayton, assisted by Megan could not have been more helpful and understanding. The kids had a ball bowling and in the arcade. We ordered lunch and it was quick and hot! Clayton is an outstanding manager, so conscientious of customer needs. We will definitely be back again. read more

Good fun with friends and bowling team. Beer is reasonable. Food could use a big boost. Staff is friendly.

I was invited to bowl last night with a friend of mine and I had such a great time. I would say Crofton Bowling Centre is your normal, everyday bowling alley. You got the pins, lanes, a snack bar, DRINKS, and good music. The staff were great and I will definitely be going again. Oh, yeah, there were some loud people...a lot of regulars. But I like that. I like that people are getting excited...there's a little competition going on amongst friends. So bring a friend and start bowling. Enjoy yourself. read more

I've never had a bad time here for Saturday night bowling. Music is good, staff is attentive. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

REVIEW: MILLENNIUM BOWLING Location: When you think of "Crofton", you think of "far". But, for residents of northern Prince George's County or Annapolis, it's not too bad of a drive. Just think of "Bowie extended" (P.G. residents) and "Still in A.A. County" for Annapolis residents Atmosphere: Lively atmosphere, with lots of cheers, laughter, and fun all around you. My largest complaint: The DJ. You spend $20+ for a night of bowling, lights, and music. However, when your DJ is a man in (what appears to be) his 50s, and the majority of your visitors appear to be under the age of 35, there's a problem. The "mixing" he was doing was nothing more than putting on CDs. And, since a lot of the songs he was playing was hard-core sensored hip-hop and rap, a lot of people either didn't know the songs (like me) or didn't want to hear the edited version. What about Top 40: Lady Gaga, Usher, Beyonce? Or, when you do "throwback", keep it consistent for a while. (Example: Don't play "The Wobble", then start to mix in "Doin' the Butt", but end up playing Lil' Wayne.) This "DJ" is horrible and they need to find better ones who know how to cater their music to their crowd and learn how to mix songs properly. Service: State Troopers guard the front door, which add a sense of security. Front desk associates were prompt and polite. Food: N/A. Did not eat here. read more

This place is a good time! Went last night with my husband and brother in law for millennium bowl. It's $25 per person (shoes included) for unlimited bowling from 10pm to 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. We got there around 11 and were able to bowl 4 or 5 games before they closed. They have a bar and a "restaurant", both were pretty good. The bar serves mixed drinks as well as the typical beer and wine. We got a margarita, a Redskin Rally (raspberry vodka, cranberry juice and splash of Sprite) and a moscato and the total came to $14, not bad! The restaurant/snack bar offers the standard fare, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, fries and I think they have salad too. Most things are deep fried but that's to be expected. The funnel fries were awesome! The DJ did a pretty good job, he played all the hits but most of them were played to house music instead of the music they were originally cut to. That wasn't my favorite but it did make it a little more upbeat so I get it. I'll definitely come back and bowl here again. I think the millennium bowl is a great deal of you have to rent shoes and plan to play more than 2 or 3 games. Give this place a try, I don't think you'll regret it. read more

We love this bowling alley! They have open bowl during certain hours of the day (it's best to check the website or call ahead of time). The place is clean and they have many lanes. The prices are reasonable as well. The staff at the desk is helpful and willing to answer questions. We had my daughter's birthday party here a few months ago and also attended another birthday recently. The cost is great and the food offerings are pretty good too. One piece of advice- have a party on a Sunday instead of a Saturday-it is so busy on Saturdays! The pizza is always a hit! There is even a modest bar and the lady working the bar is very polite, too! read more

We came here for a birthday party. I must say this is a very nice bowling alley. The staff was friendly, the concessions were good though a bit pricey and they even have a bar area if you're interested in alcoholic beverages. I've definitely overlooked this place in the past but will come back to bowl or host a party. Now they did overbook parties for the day and had to move time slots around, however they were very accommodating to our hostess and guests. read more

One of my fav bowling alleys... food is decent, customer service is pretty good and the bathrooms are always clean

Went here this past weekend to celebrate my cousins bday, had a blast! They stay open pretty late, the DJ surprised me and played sooo many jams, there were decent drink specials and prices, pretty spacious w/glow in the dark lanes and just a great atmosphere! Will for sure be coming back soon! read more

I love this bowling alley! They have nice, clean lanes with easy to use boards. There is a game room for children and nice snack bar with tasty food. The only complaint I have is that it gets crowded on the weekends with various birthday parties or events. read more

Crofton is a cool spot to bowl and hang with friends. The only issue I have is after 10PM they should not allow young kids tnside the bowling. No one under 21 should be allowed after 10PM. That would include people with kids and babies. It is very annoying to have screaming kids in a bowling alley at midnight. I don't want to see or hang with your 8 month old or 7 year old child. Find a babysitter! read more

My first visit. I was here for a bowling party. Very nice bowling alley. The only thing I didn't like is that every so often when we threw the ball down the balls kept getting stuck which cut into our time. My wings where on point and the drinks weren't have bad. Had fun would definitely do it again. read more

Nice bowling lanes, good music, nice light show but service sucks on Saturday nights. Only two waitresses at the bar only 3 folks working the kitchen. Super long lines I paid to bowl not wait in line for 15 minutes for a two beers. Last time I visit this place HITE MORE STAFF! read more

The customer service here is what forced my hand in making a yelp account for this review. Came here with a group from our college-aged bible study. Man! I don't know where to start... Every interaction I had with any employee stood out. The first half of our group made it there before us. Even though the place was jam packed, getting the extra lane beside our group was effortless. Not to mention how well these people balance their priorities! They take care of their guests with genuine care and effort. Even when I went to get some water for my friends, I didn't have to worry. It was the tender's pleasure to hand over two pitchers with plenty of cups! And not to mention, they value their military folks. Me and my friends didn't have to pay a cent for our shoes because of my active duty service. I've never had a better bowling experience. read more

So I am new to bowling, I used to think it wasn't for me. But some neighbors convinced me to join a team and here I am once a week. It get to spend time with my DH and my neighbors and hopefully meet new people. This is a nice alley, and they have leagues playing every night. On Sundays between 5 and 10 (or is it midnight?) if you strike out the blue pin when its the center pin, you get a free game! I think its a quality alley, some other alleys in the area aren't as up to date as this one. Plus, they have bar and a full snack bar that seems to fry anything and everything. The other thing I like about this alley, its clean. And I think that is important. The employees are friendly. The bowlers here seem like serious bowlers, but thats coming from someone who didn't know how to throw a ball several months ago. I think bowling is good as long as you keep it fun. read more

We took the family alllllll the way out to Crofton from DC to use my Living Social voucher. It was a Friday at 5 so the place was empty. Our voucher got us 2 hours of bowling for six, shoes, a bucket of popcorn and a pitcher of soda. The manager was super nice and didn't charge us for the two extra people (preschooler and senior citizen) who only bowled one game. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we were running close to the end of two hours with 2 frames left, the manager gave us an extra few minutes to finish our second game. While it's not close by, I'd go back with friends to check out the late night bowling. Like M.B. said, I'll find a sitter :-) read more

Great lanes and the the best grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches anywhere, yes anywhere. Soft and gooey cheese, salty and cruchy bacon, and the bread perfectly toasted, highly recommended! AK read more

This bowling ally has to be the cleanest on I have ever been to! The snack bar staff are very polite and really went the extra mile to make the experience great! The fries and delicious and they gave me extra jalapenos for my nachos. Its a bit pricey but I honestly didn't care because everything else was great. The staff at the front desk were also very polite. I liked how they put families on one side and the people that are there practicing for their league or are just people really into bowling were put on the or here side! I thought this was a great strategy so my kids could play and I didn't have to worry about them bothering the more serious players. read more

We went after 10pm, $24 per person, $14 for each non-bowler. Rude staffs, dirty floors. Don't go.

Let me get this out the way... I SUCK at bowling. I'm much better playing it on Wii.... At any rate... It was a long commute out there, but as soon as it hit like 10 o'clock, this place switched from "I'm going bowling" to "Yo, where all these chicks come from?" Single dudes will enjoy the abundance of non-hoodrattish bait on display at this establishment.. I put money on that. And did I mention how big it is? Pause for the cause. I'm just saying though... They must have like 2000 lanes, son. Its like a never ending bowl of fun n stuff... Oh yeah, and the shoes are clean and don't smell like camel toe... So thats a plus for me and my gout... I'm just kidding... I don't even have feet. And oh yeah... The wings tho? Ahhhh man... Hats off to the chef that night... They was cookin.. No Lil B... Oh and dag I forgot to mention the DJ... They got this old dude DJ Grandfather Time on the 1s and 2s... But don't let the geriatrics kit fool you, he was CRANKING that night... Word is bond. read more

We had my sons birthday party here. I wish the site had a bit more info. It states that the bowling alley would set up and clean up a private party table. I assumed ( I know I know I should never assume) that meant basic plates and plastic flatware - I was wrong. I expected the food to be a bit expensive but it was much higher priced than I expected. I was told everything was set up for small children on our lane. Every party lane had low weight balls and a ramp, not ours. We had to ask for them and the man behind the counter just seemed annoyed anytime we had a question, not very approachable to be in a business dealing with the public. They group all the parties together and we were expected to start the cake cutting and presents at the same time so we were all singing happy birthday at the same time. I feel the parties should have been spread apart just a little, I mean it's a huge bowling alley. Once we could bowl everything was great. Now this review was just for our party and how it was handled. The bowling alley is huge and has a nice game room. Be aware if your kids wants to play in the game room every game is pretty much $1. read more

Less than one star Very disappointed with our date night set for 9:15 PM on a Friday we were told that we could not bowling till 10 o'clock at millennium bowling starts even though they're obviously many lanes open this is due to the fact that we would be able to get bowling for a much cheaper rate at 9:15 and it will be $20 a game if we waited until 10:00 PM I point to the open lane at the lady who is working there and said can't I just ball there she said no we are waiting to clean out all the lanes from all the leagues until millennium bowling starts at 10 o'clock disgusted I left without bowling or paying a penny read more

We chose this bowling alley based on the reviews here. Our experience wasn't so pleasant. Our lane malfunctioned numerous times and balls were constantly stuck in the lane. The staff helped but the disruption to our game killed our vibe. The staff didn't offer to change our lanes or anything. They offered more time for bowling but as I stated earlier, the lanes malfunctioned A LOT!! I don't think we'll return. read more

I've been bowling seriously for about 5 years now and at Crofton Bowling Centre for a little over a year. I can honestly say this is one of the most well run bowling alleys I've ever been to. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. They try to make it a pleasant bowling experience whether you bowling in a league or for recreation. Their equipment is well maintained. And the best part is that they do all this at a reasonable price. read more
