I must update my review. I tried another dentist office closer to home and was very uncomfortable there. After the cleaning my tooth was hurting, but I did not want to go back to the new dentist who made it hurt so I called Dr. Croft and he was able to see me the next day. Needless to say, I went back to Dr. Croft permanently. Today was my cleaning and I was not able to schedule with Jackie and had hygenist Trina instead. She was amazing too. I realized that my husband has his cleaning with Trina and now I know why he goes on and on about what a great job she does deep cleaning his teeth. You cannot go wrong going to Croft Dental Care for any dental needs. The office is clean and staff friendly and professional. Everyone including Dr. Croft is so nice and very caring. Even if you have to drive a little further like I do, just do it! read more

Croft is THE man. Down to earth. Most the staff is awesome. The old lady is NOT awesome. Never cared for her attitude. There was a miscommunication with my insurance in which they failed to tell me prior to me getting my dental work done. Was that by design $$$ idk... Then they changed or stopped taking my insurance. Do they tell you when you arrive? No. Phone call? No. They send out a mass email like you're gonna read an email from a dentist. Again, charged MORE than before because of the insurance ordeal. Long story short, if you are 100% sure prior to going in that you're covered , good. Only other gripe was that suddenly he wanted to cap a tooth. I went here for years he never made mention of capping a tooth then one day he makes the suggestion. So I get a quote. $1200!? Ummm no. Went and got a 2nd opinion. Doc said no need. Idk I think sometimes these guys do this on purpose, build rapport over time then try to get ya $$$. read more

Dr Croft is a conservative dentist not looking to fill every single "crack". He takes a watch and wait approach. I appreciate this more than I can ever express. Other dentists out there now just want to fill every tiny little thing which can cause issues in the future. For example: sealants on kids teeth. If those are not maintained they cause more serious issues later. read more

Dr. Croft and his staff are great, I have been coming here for about 5 years. I'm 63 years old and have many teeth crowned. Dr. Croft checks these crowns twice a year and makes sure they stay healthy. I have had just two of them replaced and so far no other problems. The dental hygienist is pleasant and efficient, clean and tidy. The staff is always so very kind and flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments. Great dentist in my neighborhood. He has some high-tech cameras, explains things well and is friendly and asks if things hurt, etc. I think he's a little expensive, even with insurance, but you get what you pay for in this world :) That said, he's one of the most thorough dentists I've been to in some time. As far as Covid-aware, I'd give them 110%. read more

This is a nice small office where there is no wait at all. Apts were set perfectly where one is out, and one is in. Checked in and went straight back in the room. Staff are all friendly. Dr. Croft gave suggestions and options for treatments, and was not pushy at all like other dentists. I was able to make my own choices for the treatments I wanted. Just went in for my cleaning and check up. Dr. Croft and his staff are always so friendly and accommodating. When i used to get my teeth cleaned and scraped by other hygienists my gums would always be so sore. Not sure what she does but my gums are less sore and sensitive vs other places, i have been to over the years. She also wore a plastic shield which made me feel much more comfortable. read more

My family tried a lot of dentists in Folsom before finding Dr. Croft - a lot of god awful dentists with heavy hands, rough cleanings, and just unsatisfactory service. Dr. Croft and his staff are really great - always cheerful and helpful. Scheduling appointments is fairly convenient, and we've rarely had to wait. One time, I was 10 minutes late due to car troubles, and they were super nice about it. Some hygienists are gentler than others. They don't yell at my brother or me for opting out of the polish. Dr. Croft has the gentlest hands of any dentist, or probably any grown man, anywhere. Seriously, it almost tickles. All in all, just a wonderful local Folsom dentist. read more
