It was delicious, but I must lament that I was sad there was no squeaky cheese. The curds are an integral component. With that said, it was still very yummy. We tried three different kinds and my fav was the beef bourguignon poutine. Would gladly return to try their other offerings.

It's a small place, although with enough seats next door to the cashier to sit down and enjoy your meal. I ordered the original ("poutine Montréal") and was told to wait a few minutes for the cheese curds to melt a bit. Although I was starving, I was glad that I waited-- makes the food all the more appetizing! Taste was solid-- super hearty and generous portions of cheese curds. I did find that the gravy wasn't so hot, which unfortunately didn't melt the cheese curds too much. Cheese curds themselves had that right "squeeky" bite, which demonstrates good cheese curds. The fries were a bit unlike what I'd expected from other poutines I've tried (i.e. darker, not as crispy as others), but altogether a decent poutine in France. Service was efficient and friendly. Portions were well-enough for one person, so it's especially good if you come hungry! Worth checking out while in Paris. :)

When I saw that they were only a 15 mins walk away from my hotel, I decided to make the trek over here for dinner. This location is in the Le Marais neighborhood, which is quite a lively area with plenty of intriguing restaurants. Everything on the menu looked pretty delicious, but I decided to stick with my original pick, the salmon pastrami sandwich. The salmon pastrami sandwich (15 euro) was very delicious, each bite was super satisfying. The sandwich includes pastrami style smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, and olive oil. If you love salmon, you'll certainly love this! Homer has a diner and fast food atmosphere with a concept and branding that is appealing. The prices are a little expensive, but I can confirm that the food was pretty good. If you're looking for a casual food experience while in Paris, give them a try!

The lobster is made to perfection and gels in so well with the bread along with the topping. Amazing taste and you definitely would want another one in case you just ordered one. The music inside is on point as well if you are one of those who lend their ears to old school rap!! Do stop by and give them a try. Promise you wouldn't regret your choice!!!

We stopped here after getting back to Paris late one evening. The setup is identical to any found in the states, down to the peanuts. This is clearly not the experience we've had at that other US based chain from Oakbrook IL, which always feels tiny and cramped. We ordered a Burger (€9.95) and a Bacon Burger (€12.95) both with cheese. And no, it wasn't called a "Royale with Cheese" LOL. Our Tab came to €23.77 plus 10% VAT or €26.15. Both tasted very fresh and served Medium, with the meat being a little pink inside. Nice! The Coke machine inside, was also identical to the ones you've seen that serve multi-drinks. But here, everything tasted like Dr Pepper. Ugh. Otherwise, everything was good.

I remember fondly my first visit over 20 years ago to the very first non-franchised 5 Guys. So I will admit I have a special place in my heart for this very successful fast food chain. After spending the day at Roland Garros, sitting in the sun, this was a perfect option for dining. Nothing fancy needed. We arrived and the place was packed. They have inside dining upstairs, outside dining in an attached area and a third area next to the street which is also covered. The line moved quickly as they had I think four ordering areas open. On each occasion we ordered a Little Burger, a Petite Fries, a coke, and a beer. Food cost $23 Euro. We opened out burger, cut it in half and poured our fries out to share. I have to say this burger and these fries were perfectly cooked. They came exactly as ordered. My only wish has remained over the years is that I wish they warmed their buns! Highly recommend. No reservations taken. Line moves quickly. Attitude of all workers is unbelievably positive. Will recommend.

The first thing I noticed was how much seating there was, and it was such a relief when your feet are tired and you just want to sit down somewhere warm for a bit. It ended up being the perfect place to escape the damp evening and give my soaking wet boots time to dry off (a little). We settled in with a hot cup of tea and a small snack, which was easy in a country where we don't speak the language. Pret is a grab-and-go type of place where you make your selection from a large refrigerated case then carry it up to the register to pay. They have a great selection of freshly made food (sandwiches, salads, side dishes, desserts, and more), and their organic coffee is a big plus if you're in need of a proper pick-me-up. I was especially hungry (and a little cranky, to be honest) after walking around all day in the bad weather, so I grabbed a small snack that turned out to be surprisingly high quality. It was kind of like a shrimp cocktail, but fresher and lighter, with bright flavors. Maybe it's because it's in Paris, but the ingredients felt a bit fancier than I expected. There was even fresh dill and lime in it, which made it feel extra refreshing and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, Prêt à Manger is a reliable place to stop when you're out exploring Paris. Whether you need to warm up, rest your feet, or just grab something quick but tasty, this place does the job really well.
