Nonetheless, we had a very enjoyable meal and met a charming young lady by the name of Niki, who was our server this afternoon. She is the regular bartender on the weekends, and with her outgoing personality, I am sure she does well! Now to why y'all are reading this review: the food was seriously good. The fried pickles were like thin potato chips--nice and crispy. I had the seafood basket with fresh oysters, catfish, hushpuppies, and crawfish tails. My friend had the tilapia, and her French fries were nice and crispy, which she thoroughly enjoyed. It was a good afternoon to be had by all. Give them a try--you'll be glad you did. Be sure to ask for NIKI. Peace!

It is a small town diner essentially located in the Highlands. Not a very big space. Not sure what to do we grabbed menus and sat down no greeter or host at the front. We had to clear our own table because I only saw one waitstaff running around. We were finally told we can look at the menus and order at the front. I knew I wanted the po-boy and that is what I ordered, my wife got the shrimp basket, and our daughter ordered the steak finger basket. Our meal took a while to come out and what came out was not a shrimp po-boy. It was a shrimp sandwich on Texas toast. I looked at it and told the server that is not a po-boy. She said they were out of the hoagie rolls and that was a sub for the bread it would have been courteous to let me know before I ordered this that this was what was being offered. Unfortunately I had to send it back and order the basket instead and I do not like doing that. No tartar or ketchup was sent out with the meal and had to ask for it. They sent out room temperature tartar sauce in an already handled bottle by other guests which to me was not very sanitary. Will not be back. Also the prices do not match online or what was on the video. Good luck coming here :(

So the go to for me is the mambo #1 which consists of 2 fish filets, fried shrimp mambo rice or fries with a roll. It appears they have downsized this dish by a fish filet and while back I was able to get both the rice and fries but now you get only 1. The Coca Cola Freestyle machine is no longer here as well. I did see that crawfish is on the menu and our daughter had a combo of it with shrimp, potatoes, and corn. For $25.00 thought it was a rip off. Unfortunately our waitress didn't listen when I placed my order to come with fries because my plate came out with the rice. I had to get up to mention this because I couldn't get her attention. She also hovered over me at payout with the card machine. Also the temp in the dining room was set to freeze you alive. Overall not a good visit today, will I come back not sure?

We drove to the park to see if that perfect RV spot had opened up and was stopped by a very rude standoffish woman which we learned was the owner/manager Kathy (so she said). Right then with her comment and mannerism I knew this was not where we want to be. We are sad that Good Times will not be our future home but dealing with a rude manager is not a place we want to call home. Once drinks finally came out, my husband had to wait a few more for his beer. The decoration was nice, the women's dresses and head bands were beautiful. Once we ordered, the food came to our table one late at a time, with a few minutes in between. Again we had to ask husband's plate because it still hadn't arrived. My son ordered a large sweet tea. At one point, when he placed the glass back on the table it broke from a corner and leaked all over him. We quickly did our best to clean up. The bus boy asked if we were the ones who broke it. (As if it were intentional) another asked if my son had extra clothes in the car... his shirt and pants were soaked. No consolation or solution. We asked for another drink. At the end they charged us for two drinks, even the one that broke and leaked all over him. They could have at least offered to send him home with tea to go. When I asked the waitress about the extra drink, she looked at me and didn't say anything. This time around the food was not as amazing as I first recalled. Not going back
