Our problem was not catching a live critter, but removing a dead one. A quarterly insect inspection and spraying found a dead deer under our back porch. (Our son Bill won the naming "contest" for our deer with "Deerly Departed.") We did some googling, and found Critter Control, and made the appointment. Brandon called during the appointment window, and showed up about 15 minutes later. I was expecting a "Larry, Darryl, and Darryl" kind of guy, but Brandon was personable and friendly. He explained that he had scheduled us for the end of the day so that he wouldn't be driving around the rest of the day with a smelly, dead deer in the back of the truck. I showed him where it was, and let him know that if needed me he should just knock on the door. He was done in 10-15 minutes. Critter Control charges a $230 service call to come to your house, and then separate charges for what you need them to do. Dead deer removal is $100-$300. I fully expected to pay the $300, as this was a full size deer, not some little fawn born yesterday. Brandon took me back and showed me that he had removed the deer and cleaned up the area. He only charged $100 for the removal, because it had been a lot easier than he expected it to be. He could have charged the $300, and I never would have known. Instead, he charged me by the difficulty of the job. And as we were talking afterwards, I had some skunk questions for him, since I had seen a family of skunks on the nearby bike trail. So while it is highly unlikely that we will need Critter to remove another dead deer for us, if we ever have the live pests kind of problem, they will be our first call. I highly recommend them, and will not hesitate to use their services in the future. read more

We recently used Critter Control to take care of the squirrels that invaded our house. Matt was the technician we worked with. We found him experienced, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Upon completion of a thorough survey of the roof and exterior of the house, Matt identified possible sites of invasion, not only for squirrels but also other smaller animals. He then set up traps and returned for daily checks. He communicated with us frequently, adjusted location of trapping based on our feedback and was able to completely solve the problem efficiently. I will also add that we were very happy with the repair job he'd done to prevent future problems. Costs include an upfront setup fee for traps, and additional fees for each animal trapped. Repair work is optional and costs extra. Overall, we had a great experience with Critter Control-- they are highly responsive, pricing is fair, and Matt was great! read more

Critter Control did a great job. We had 3 squirrels take up residence in our attic and modify the soffit so they could have a picture window to enjoy the view from. The first squirrel was captured easily, the second one took a little more time, but that third squirrel, he decided to make it personal and was quite difficult to capture. Sean was the best, he persevered against that squirrel and finally set it up so there was only one thing that would happen to that squirrel, capture! After all of that, the work Sean did to repair their entrances and their picture window was excellent, it looks great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely work with again should the need arise. read more

The team at critter control worked quickly to get back to me about information in regards to removing squirrels. They got everything set up in a time frame that wasn't to far away. Sean is the person that came out and did everything he was very knowledgeable about the process and how we were going to fix it after the animals were gone. He was very polite and respectful when working and communicating with us about what he was doing. In the matter of a week our problem was fixed and sealed to prevent further issues. Would recommend them to anyone with a critter problem.! read more
