They got 6 critters in 2 weeks. Still 3 remained . We elected to get the remaining ones ourselves.

If you want the job complete instead of half done, hire someone else. I called Critter Control to remove 2 groundhogs from under my deck. They charged $225 for a consult and set traps. After about a week they caught one of them. Within 2 days they came and took the traps away without speaking to us and before getting the second groundhog. I called the office to ask what was happening and they returned the traps the following week. After a couple more days we walk outside and are shocked to see that they came in and took the traps again. No notification or discussion with us AGAIN. No reasoning as to why they would leave the job yet again unfinished. Another call to Critter Control's office is when I learned that this was all business as usual for them, and if I want to pay another $225 consult fee they'd come back. NO THANKS. read more

Good service! They were able to set up the week of and trap as quickly as possible. We had squirrels outside the garage. We were able to negotiate a set number to charge per rodent. The contract is important to review since its $50+ for every rodent caught, it can get pricey. I appreciate their flexility and the technician Kevin was friendly to talk to over the phone. read more

Update: First we paid $300 to get rid of a groundhog that was living under our back porch. Critter Control used a live trap to capture it, then took it away and euthanized it. Later, we paid another $300 to get rid of a skunk living under the back porch. Then we paid over $1000 for Critter Control to install exclusion fencing in the planting bed adjacent to the porch. It worked! We came home one day to find the dirt from the planting area flung everywhere as the critter (most likely a skunk) attempted to seek shelter under our porch. We restored the soil, then later found many small trenches (chipmunks?) up against the fencing. We're happy we made the investment: We don't have to worry about critters chewing on the porch supports, and they're also leaving our spring vegetables alone. read more

I used their services to get rid of a chipmunk under my front stoop. They did catch it and the problem appears to be resolved. Apparently if it comes back in 2 weeks I won't have to pay the initial fee, just the catch fee. I'm hoping. They were prompt and pleasant to work with although pricey. read more

I had occasion to witness a bat flying in my bedroom at 2:30am and had myself and wife vacate the room and shut the door. I then located a company that was manning their phone at that hour (Critter Control). Brandon answered the phone and was very cordial and professional and agreed this is what they do. He shared he could be at our home and extract the rodent in the next half hour. He also shared the price of $429 with extraction of the rodent when caught being an additional $99. Which for us was a little high but for the assurance he was coming out and addressing the situation at this time of night, seemed reasonable. Brandon came, extracted the rodent and gone by 4am. We were back to bed. All good, professional and answered all my questions. Now we will address all the WHY's and address the problem of approx a dozen bats in the attic, which I have since witnessed coming out of our exterior attic vent. I like them in the yard, just not in the bedroom. It was determined by Critter Control not to have rabies. I will consider Critter Control for further control of these bats. read more

Our problem was not catching a live critter, but removing a dead one. A quarterly insect inspection and spraying found a dead deer under our back porch. (Our son Bill won the naming "contest" for our deer with "Deerly Departed.") We did some googling, and found Critter Control, and made the appointment. Brandon called during the appointment window, and showed up about 15 minutes later. I was expecting a "Larry, Darryl, and Darryl" kind of guy, but Brandon was personable and friendly. He explained that he had scheduled us for the end of the day so that he wouldn't be driving around the rest of the day with a smelly, dead deer in the back of the truck. I showed him where it was, and let him know that if needed me he should just knock on the door. He was done in 10-15 minutes. Critter Control charges a $230 service call to come to your house, and then separate charges for what you need them to do. Dead deer removal is $100-$300. I fully expected to pay the $300, as this was a full size deer, not some little fawn born yesterday. Brandon took me back and showed me that he had removed the deer and cleaned up the area. He only charged $100 for the removal, because it had been a lot easier than he expected it to be. He could have charged the $300, and I never would have known. Instead, he charged me by the difficulty of the job. And as we were talking afterwards, I had some skunk questions for him, since I had seen a family of skunks on the nearby bike trail. So while it is highly unlikely that we will need Critter to remove another dead deer for us, if we ever have the live pests kind of problem, they will be our first call. I highly recommend them, and will not hesitate to use their services in the future. read more

I paid 200 dollars for someone to come out and look around my house for entry points and go over additional services for an additional charge. The exterminator was about to say his goodbyes without doing anything until I asked him to lay traps in my attic for a charge (at least I wouldn't have to go up into the attic). It's now up to me to go search around the exterior of my house and seal up possible entry points, clean up a couple dead mice from traps I put down a few weeks ago, as well as clean up the mice droppings. I really should have just bought traps from Lowes and saved 270 dollars. On a positive note, the exterminator was a very nice and professional person. read more

The only positive thing about this company was Zach, the technician. He was super nice. Everything else was terrible. We knew we had squirrels in the attic but didn't know what to do. Our house has 3 points of access to different parts of the attic. They only inspected the part over the garage when they/we knew the issue was by our master bedroom. It took me calling to complain for them to come out. When they were supposed to come out to actually inspect the attic in question they stood me up! When I called to complain and asked to speak to the manager I was told "that was not possible". After much complaining, I was told that the manager would call me back. It's been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't heard from them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Take your money elsewhere. They charged me over $500 for terrible service and even worse customer service... customers definitely beware! read more

very disappointed in this company. Came out On June 13,2018 to place boxes for Voles, collected the fee up front and never came back, voles still in the yard...........I had to call 3 times before they came to remove the black boxes. Do not recommend this company. read more
