Don't be deceived. I've worked in the area before and have passed this stores countless times over the course of 8 years and never have I stepped foot within. However, today I tore a contact lens and was desperate to find an immediate replacement as I was driving and one eyed piloting downtown isn't what I would define as ideal. This was the third store that I had visited after my unfortunate contact tear as none of the other stores I visited even cared to bat an eye. Was I pleasantly surprised. The inner store decor is pristine, clean, hip, and showcased a large array of high quality glasses and frames. The service is warm, friendly, and even before I purchased anything, they immediately gave me a free contact sample for comfort. No questions asked. Truly high end service, matched with quality inner design that's both cozy and sophisticated. I'll be certain to visit this place for a new frame upgrade when my eyewear wears off. Give this place a shot. Looks and store front is definitely deceiving in this case.

In my many years or purchasing glasses I've never found a brand that is more comfortable and frames that are as durable as OGA. The current pair I'm wearing now are 4 years old and they could probably last another 4 or more. My prescription hasn't changed that much but it has changed slightly enough for me to get another pair. My last pair from here were sunglasses and the pair before where had Transitions ver 6. Pricing here is a little funny. The frames have price tags on them but the price you are quoted always is less than the "ticket" price. I paid for my pair upfront so I can get my receipt immediately and submit it for my benefit reimbursement. Since I've bought my last 3 pairs here I know I can trust them and that things will be just right. They had my measurements from last time so they didn't need to remeasure this time as my measurements were already stored on their computer system. I was in and out pretty quick which was good because I had somewhere to be right afterwards. With Transitions lenses they have to send them out to a lab which takes about a week which is fine because I have errands to run on the east end next weekend anyway.

His responses by email were timely and he was flexible with my work schedule to enable no rush in choosing. My husband shopped, too, and has never been so satisfied with his glasses and the fit. I've received many compliments and the quality of the frames and crystal clear lenses are great. I delayed reviewing for the true test. Being finicky, I scheduled a minor adjustment and was happy to find Edwin just as welcoming and cheerful to ensure 100% satisfaction, post payment. If you've ever experienced problems in the past with your glasses, you'd want to know that Edwin invites you back and means it, if you have any issues! So happy with this pair. I had purchased a couple (pricey) sunglasses online; when I received them, the arms were too wide. I googled eyeglass repair shops and this place was among the first couple establishments suggested. As challenging as it was to make adjustments due to the style of the glasses, he was able to figure out a solution. I was so ecstatic!!! Not only did he amend the alignment of the temple arms so I could now wear my glasses, he did so expecting NO COMPENSATION! We don't write this review lightly as we were regular customers of See and Be Seen.  We have always…read moretrusted them with our daughter's glasses since she was in Grade 2 (now 6).  Their service had always been great helping our daughter pick out glasses that suited her and making sure she felt comfortable in what she was wearing.  The price point was always higher than what we wanted to pay but we didn't let that bother us cause she would be a glasses/contact wearer the rest of her life so we wanted to make sure she was somewhere that made her comfortable. Unfortunately our recent experience is one that will ensure was our last visit to this establishment.  Our daughter, for the first time, snapped her glasses in half at the bridge.  We rushed to See and Be Seen Liberty Village to sort out a new pair for her.  They fit her quickly with a new pair of glasses for almost $900 and told us that they would typically be ready in 7-10 days but that they would put a rush on it so hopefully it would arrive earlier.  Seven days later we reached out to the store to find out if they would be arriving soon only to be told that they were still in the lab.  We were assured that someone at See and Be Seen would follow up with the lab because there was a rush on the order and provide us an update but worst case it would arrive early the following week.  We never heard back. On day 11 (early the following week) we still had not heard anything about the glasses so we decided to follow up.  Again we were told the order was still with the lab and there was no update.  This is when we realized no one had originally done the follow up.  At this point we escalated the issue and were told that they would follow up with the lab to ensure there is a rush on the order and get an estimate on when they would be delivered.  We requested a refund and was told the Director would need to address this.    When speaking with the Director we were told no refund could be done as the lenses had already been ordered and that the original timeline was 7-10 business days but could be as long as 10-14 business days.  We reiterated what we were told in store but was told repeatedly that would be impossible as their staff are all trained on business days. We asked to speak to the owner of the store and to this day have not heard back from them.  Our biggest issue is the lack of accountability from all parties involved.  My wife, daughter and I all heard 7-10 days but apparently that would be entirely impossible from their perspective.  To top this all off their best advice was for us to buy another pair of glasses (with a free lenses offer) for situations like this.  I'm not sure how many people can afford a $500 pair of glasses as a back up.  We finally received the glasses on day 13 after they had finally followed up with the lab.  I'm sure other people have had great experiences with them as we also had in the past.  But this last experience has certainly been the most ridiculous for us and will be the last time we purchase from this establishment.

Ended up getting my eyeglasses for more than two weeks and you need to call them yourself. Yes they're cheap and affordable but the basic frames are on the thinner side. Service is so so - the older guy (Owner) is welcoming and friendly but the rest of the staff have standoffish attitude and doesn't care except to make some sales.
