This is a 3.7 experience. My partner and I stopped by here one time during the winter after we visited Snug Harbor. He ordered a few slices and it became one of his go tos on the island. It was ok, not the best NYC pizza but better than the $1 pizzas. It is cheesy and the sauces are saucey. Because of this, I always thought this pizzeria was called "Saucey". It's not, obviously because saucey in NYC is much better. Today (August 17), we stopped by again. Because I can't have cheese, I decided to try the honey BBQ "wings". It was a major disappointment. First of all, it's not all wings. It was a mix of drumsticks and wings. It was over seasoned with just BBQ sauce and the meat was very fatty. Six "wings" for $10 was gross. For the same price, I'd probably be happy to go get a plate of Spanish rice and beans. Last but not least, this is the only pizzeria within the 2-miles radius. It sucks. I say this because you really want to sit down and enjoy a slice of pizza when there is nothing around. Unfortunately, they don't turn on the AC on a 85 degree day. The outside was cooler than the inside by a notch. I understand you want to save on the electricity bills. But damn, why would you torture your hardworking employees, who were scrubbing the door sides for you? As well as your customers that want to sit in? Throughout the entire time we sat down, every person who came in were either polices or order outs. It doesn't feel like a space you can sit and be part of the community. We ordered in from DoorDash. On DoorDash, this business is called "pasta paradise." I don't know if there was a name change or not. Regardless, the food came fast, and it was still very hot when it got here. My partner ordered the spaghetti with mushrooms, and I ordered the spaghetti Cacio E Pepe . We also split an order of garlic knots. The order came as four very decent sized knots. Our spaghetti dishes were fantastic. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and my partner loved the flavor of the pasta, as well as the mushrooms. She tore into it before I could get a photo My Cacio E Pepe, the sauce was good, and I could definitely taste the pepper. My mouth was tingling afterwards, but in a good way. Each dish also came with bread roll on the side. There was so much food, neither of us could finish our dish. That's fine, leftovers for later. My partner loves garlic knots, and she said these were among the best she has ever had. I agree. They were tender, and you could definitely taste the garlic flavor. They came with a tomato sauce (gravy) for dipping, but the sauce actually took away from the garlic knots. That's OK, it was so good. I just drank it. :). :). Fantastic food, for a decent price. This place made the worst/ old calamari and we literally live Three blocks away and the Jade answered the phone and outright refused to refund my money. I asked for the manager and was told (Pedro) was not available. She offered to do a fresh order and I didn't not want it. I asked for a credit for the full anoint of what I paid for the calamari and she refused saying that she could not do it. She said all they could offer was a discount on next order. I feel completely ripped off. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!! This business is not good at all! I was supposed to get a free soda because I spent over $50! Went in 3pm on a fri. Empty. Ordered a slice since my first time there. Asked for slice in the middle, she cuts me a small slice. Eyeroll she could be nicer. Whatevs im just testing the waters. 3 singles in cash. Ok. I put crushed red pepper, bit of garlic and pepper. Chefs kiss for a single slice. Crispy, tasty sauce like real crushed tomatoes and cheesy gooey goodness. Crust was admittedly tough but i normally dont eat the crust. Got another, served by another dude more friendly. Little bit bigger slice. 3 singles again. I was able to replicate the good experience. I dont know if id order a pie from here tbh. Id def stop for a slice if i had a hankering. read more

Crispy is a decent pizzeria and is practically the only one on the Terrace. Ive stopped into this location a few times over the past year for a quick pizza fix and left pleased each and every time. Their counter has about 20 different types of pizzas, mostly the pan type, regular round, pepperoni, squares, and all sorts of rolls. On my last visit I had a regular slice and it was just right. Definitely fresh and flavorful and to boot it was only $2! Anything that's yummy and under $10 has my vote anytime. Their eggplant rolls are also amazing. I'd suggest this joint. read more

Been a customer for 8+ years and always order the same thing. Tonight after long day of work and classes I ordered a margarita pie via Grubhub. If you're familiar with how this is prepared it's mostly sauce and fresh mozzarella and basil placed all over the pie. It's usually a good amount of cheese for someone like me that doesn't consume too much dairy which is why I opt for this pie over any other. The pizza came as a cheese pie with more sauce and cheese added to it. Immediately knew something was wrong cause the box was heavy! I called the restaurant and the girl answering the phone literally says "No we didn't!" She tells me this is how the margarita is made even though I eat this shit at least 6x a month. You should be apologetic to customers if there's a complaint. I'll never eat here again and will dispute with Grubhub. read more

I have no clue what happen today i been ordering here for more than 6 years... I always tell everyone this is the best spot better than many competitors on this island! But today I must say super disappointed. I ordered 3 dinners and every pasta was not cooked the pasta were stuck together and hard the sauce was very light i actually had to open a jar of sauce to pour over. I wanted to order out but ended fixing my order instead. Pizza was good for the kids but the stuff shells no good, chicken parm with fettuccine horrible, chicken Alfredo fettuccine with broccoli which i felt they just cut the entire broccoli and just put in in my dish no flavor.. I know restaurants have some bad days but damn i just threw out $40 plus bucks in the trash!!! Again super surprise i always give this spot 5 stars!!!!! I enjoy the fact I can order anything I like even off the menu items and crispy caters to it. See pictures uploaded. Some of my favorites. Grilled chicken with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and onions. Grilled chicken, broccoli, mushroom, and onions topped w/ vodka sauce. The BBQ chicken tossed salad w side of ranch is a must try. This review is for delivery only. I walked into placed the order 2 days prior the event, the girl at the register told me I have to go back the next day because it'll mess up her register. I was surprised because no businesses would ever turn a paying customer away. But another girl was "able to" work the register. I ordered 14 pies all together, with toppings and all. Spoke to the owner Neal, really nice guy, gave me 10% discount and 4 bottles of soda once he heard they are actually for my students at a nearby school, and we order from them often. Pizzas were asked to be delivered by 11:30am, we have a very small window where we can bring the pizzas through the crowded hallway. I told them to call me once the delivery guy gets to our school, we'll have a cart there to bring the boxes up. On the day of the delivery, 11:30 came about, no one called, I waited, and waited, and waited, finally at 11:45, the delivery guy showed up, said my phone didn't work. We looked at the number, he had my last two digits reversed. By this time, the hallways were filled with students, I'm talking about FILLED with students!!! We can barely squeeze through the hall to get to the elevator! Every student that came across our cart asked if they can have a slice, it's just unnecessary trouble for us who are trying to do the right thing for our students. You would think 15 minutes wouldn't make such a difference, but when you stress the importance of being delivered on time, obviously there's a reason for that - to avoid what I just described! AND no plates, no napkins on top of everything. I had enough! I called them, asking them if they are serious by not giving us any plates nor napkins, the second girl picked up the phone who I mentioned earlier (the one was able to work the register), said it's not their fault because the driver had left in a hurry, and he had forgotten to bring them. He'll bring them. SERIOUSLY?! it's not your fault? At this point I don't really care whose fault it is, I have 30 students sitting in the classroom starring at 14 boxes of pizzas and bottles of sofa but can't have any because we don't have plates or cups or napkins. We only had 45 minutes for this pizza party, 15 minutes were taken away from us because the delivery was late. Then 10 more minutes were taken away because they didn't bring plates. Luckily, there are more than one of us teachers, one stayed with the students, one went back downstairs to wait for the delivery guy to bring us the plates, while one is searching for plates in different offices. the guy never came by the way. Finally, we found plates in different offices, so our students can finally eat - half the time is gone due to their lack of planning for delivery, and it left us with bitter taste. Was not expecting much out of a Staten Island Pizzeria, but this place caught me off guard. Went to the botanical garden close by and stopped off here for lunch. Had a few different slices which true to its name -were crispy. The interior of the place was really nice, looks like they put a lot into it (much more then the avg pizzeria); more importantly though the pizza was on point: fresh ingredients, certainly didn't get the slice that would be the equivalent pie chart representation of "if you found a million dollars, I would donate it to charity" decision (good value for the money). Also heard that the owner has even delivered slices himself just to meet / show appreciation for patrons, which I thought was pretty cool. All in all, a solid pizzeria that I'll revisit when in the area. read more

There platters are really good and comes with a nice side salad and bread also which is great for less than a $10 meal. I love there chicken parm and also there baked ziti. It's pretty big platters and like I said comes with a nice side of salad. You can share these platters too unless you really hungry. The food is always nice and hot and usually I get delivery and it always comes hot and enjoyable. The delivery men are really nice too.
