Very good pizza and the name "crisp" suits the crust just right. I work in Norwood so it's nice to have a classic bar style pizza place in the area. I see a lot of bad reviews on here for the wait time. I called ahead on a Tuesday evening and it was ready in 15 minutes. I ordered the classic cheese and was impressed with the flavor and crispiness. Definitely want to try some of their other specialty pizzas on the menu. I also heard from a few other people that their food and appetizers were also really good. They had a lot of hands on deck so I'm sure they are working hard to keep up with the future rush. Had heard a lot of great things about Crisp and honestly it lived up to the hype. Ordered a hamburger and pepperoni pizza and it was one of the best pizza's I've had in my 25 years in Walpole. Super cheesy, thin and crispy crust. My family got linguica pizza as well which was also delicious. For $10 this is a pizza I will get many more times. Can't wait to try everything else! read more

I'd really like to give this place No Stars because my visit was a total waste of money. My husband and I placed an order to go in person on Monday February 3rd 2020 at around 11:30am. He ordered medium chicken wings and onion rings. I ordered the whole clam plate (which comes with french fries and a salad). We didn't add anything to the order. No chips, drinks or dessert. The order came to almost $34. When we got home and checked our order we realized they forgot the salad. We attempted to eat the food we had and unfortunately were disappointed. The wings, onion rings, whole clams and fries were nothing special. In fact the clams and fries were soggy and unappealing. So much for CRISP. I'm not sure what is in fact crisp in this place. We went back to Crisp about a half hour later (after attempting to eat our food) to get the missing salad. I showed my receipt to the counterperson and explained they forgot my salad (which was supposed to be included with the clam plate). He asked if it was a regular salad and I had to explain it was the one which came with the clam plate. Throughout it all he was expressionless, did not say sorry, thank you or much of anything. Maybe he was confused? Also he kept my receipt. I am not sure why. I really didn't understand his demeanor because the place still wasn't that busy. I got the side salad home and checked it out, deciding not to eat it as it was not fresh. It looked like it had been prepared over a week ago. You know when lettuce gets a dry brownish yellow and cucumber slices are really slimy. I threw the salad in the trash immediately. There is no excuse for: forgetting an item in a simple order when a place is not busy, a counterperson being confused about a missing item when receipt is produced, a counterperson not being courteous and a restaurant giving a customer spoiled food which immediately must be thrown out. Sorry no pictures since I threw out most of the food. This place was a total disappointment. Lunch there was a total waste of money. I will not be returning. Heads up! I recently read something on FB Walpole Recommends site that there will possibly be 3% added to all orders to help pay the staff. So if you believe prices are already high at this place it isn't going to get any better. read more

I ordered 3 pizzas and got them home to discover two were charrred beyond consumption. The crust was burned as well. There was no way I could serve this pizza. I called the restaurant and was told "thats how bar style pizza is cooked".! Huh??? Never had pizza like that before. I returned the food and was met by Cameron , the owners son. Phenomenal pizza and wonderful to finally have a solid pizza restaurant in the area! Love the cheeseburger and Venus special pizzas. Looking forward to trying the other options on the menu. I am super picky about pizza. Got take out from here since we wanted a break from traditional pizza like Biancos (our fave in town). This place is bar pizza, which is individual sized and like made in a pan with cheese out to the crust. Got traditional cheese and pineapple with bacon. Both were delicious. Bacon is the thick type just FYI. Very pleasantly surprised since we ordered from here in a whim. read more

Loved seeing a new place in town, but was quickly disappointed. We tried this place the first night it opened, a few weeks after. The food was just ok and not all the food we had ordered was there. After hearing good things we thought we would try it again and we were not pleased. The monte cristo was not dipped and fried. It was dipped maybe and toasted. So not a monte cristo. My pizza was burnt. My wrap was a sandwich, and chowder was just ok. Done! Save your$$ read more

Not impressed. I have seen so much hype on Facebook about crisp that I had to try it. I don't usually do delivery but decided to try it with the pandemic going on. I ordered two pizzas, that were just ok nothing special, the chicken Parmesan egg rolls and clam chowder and both were not very good at all. Then to boot they forgot half the order on delivery and I had to call and they asked me if I wanted it delivered.... well wasn't that the point of me ordering delivery to start with. Greasy, slow service, staff has no idea what they are doing. they have been open for what? 4-5 months now? I'm so shocked they have not figured this out yet. Don't waste your time or your money. Plenty of other good small business pizza places that are 10 times better. read more

Update: we were comped our meal and they threw in some additional delicious treats. Overall the food is tasty but they are dealing with service pains. They have good food and a great market for it in Walpole so I hope they figure out a way to make service and delivery more efficient! read more

I know new places need to work out the kinks and probably busier than normal because it's new...BUT...you can't take orders and say 30 minutes then a minute later say an hour. 1.5 hours later my order is ready, I get home and my fries are cold, onion rings cold, chicken fingers cold, pizza barely warm. Leads me to believe my order was probably ready after 30 minutes and just sat there. Hopefully they figure it out. read more

I was very disappointed with my food. I ordered the full belly clams. I got a large amount of undercooked fries, onion rings were good but I got 5 fullbelly clams and 3 overcooked clam pieces. For $18.99 I would think they would give a better portion of food. read more

Great pizza, friendly staff and quick delivery. They just opened and heard about the long wait times, but we called in early at 420pm and the pizza arrived by 5pm. Definitely will be back. Nice to have a good bar pizza in the area that also delivers. read more

The pizza is standard, nothing special, but the variety is awesome. The special pizzas are really good. Also I overheard a customer raving about their sandwich: Also the workers are very polite,which is very important. The pizza seems it wants to be a Town Spa, but it's more of Copeland Pizza atmosphere. I hope there will be frozen pizzas to buy soon. All and all this place has potential to be one of the great pizzas places. I also like the bakery, it's so delicious. read more

Mediocre food, horrible service. Had a bad experience the second week they were open. Ordered food for pick-up and had to wait a half an hour over the estimated time. My son ordered broccoli chicken Alfredo but they were out of broccoli so decided to wait untIL I got there to pick it up to see if they should make something else. I decided to give them another try since they are a new restaurant and mistakes happen. But they got strike two and three tonight. We ordered delivery. We ordered 2 sandwiches, a pizza and a pasta dinner. Both sandwiches were wrong, one had cheese but wasn't supposeed too. The other had cheese and mayo missing, and they forgot to bring the pizza all together. I called to complain and they returned with a sandwich and a cold dry overcooked pizza that had clearly been sitting out for hours. It's really too bad, I wanted to like it, but I can't get past the poor service. I'm done with Crisp. read more
