I normally do not write reviews but I found it necessary to make this one exception. My husband and I were in Osterville for the day and a friend recommended Crisp. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place was full. We walked in and was told by the young girl at the desk that it would be approximately 10 minutes. We had no problem waiting. We sat down and noticed there was one couple ahead of us..not a long wait. The couple were seated within 5 minutes so we were next. A party of 4 arrives, they are told it's approximately a 20 minute wait. Another 5-10 minutes go by and I notice a couple leaving from a nearby table. They clean the table and get it ready. The young girl turns to the party of 4 and calls their name..they are seated. She comes back and I ask, "What happened?". She replies, "That table is only for 4, you have to wait for a 2 person table." Of course, this is a lie since I just witnessed 2 people leaving that exact same table. I turned to my husband and said, "Let's go." The moral of the story is...if you want to be treated unfairly, go to Crisp. That was my first time at Crisp and my last. read more

This review is long overdue but we came here for a girls day out while visiting family at the Cape over Christmas. The flatbreads are delicious and although service was a little slow that day I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back when we're in the area. I had the Kale Yeah flatbread and it was very delicious. Wish they had something similar here in California! read more

Ordered 4 flatbreads to go $$$$ Told 70 min wait. Sunday night. Took at least 1 1/2 hours. Had drinks while waiting ,finally got our food and went home to find all the flatbreads burnt/ cold ( not even warm) crust was so charred we couldn't eat. Gourmet thin crust pizza. We grabbed some takeout on a rainy night in Osterville and heard Crisp was under the same ownership as 5 Bays Bistro- a yummy quaint casual-fine dining spot also in Osterville...so we got the bacon and scallop crisp, Greek salad, and the spicy pie. Pies were crisp and tasty....also the food was quality. 3 pizzas fed 3 adults- with a couple slices left over. Not mind blowing, but def. a quality spot. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pizzeria! We enjoy it most of the summer - with the outdoor dining and the fire pits, it's the perfect end to a Cape Cod summer day. The pizza's are delicious (although I'm not 100% sold on the bacon jelly). We enjoyed several starters, had a fabulous bottle of wine and were so pleased with the atmosphere. My favorite place to get food on the cape! Great flatbreads, pastas, and salads. Everything is always fresh and yummy. They have some unique menu items as well. Atmosphere is awesome and upbeat. There can sometimes be a long wait on the weekends, especially in the summer, but the food is awesome and totally worth it! read more

I wish there was a way to give an additional half star. They get 4+ on atmosphere and service when you eat there. And in the off season when you get your to go from the main location, the reception staff are incredibly nice, and the off season to-go lunch special makes it a regular on our lunching list. Sitting by the fire pit with friends, wine and fries is always great. Their pizzas (they are pizzas, not flatbreads, I don't know why they insist on flatbreads, I discern no difference in dough consistency, texture, shape, toppings, from any other gourmet pizza shop) can be great, but they drop to 3 from 4 stars for the really inconsistent seasoning issues they have, especially in the summer - it occasionally ends up with no taste. It's far too pricey a pizza shop to not have the seasoning on point. But more often than not it's a safe and solid bet for a fun dinner out. read more

We had no problem walking in and getting a seat at the high top tables looking out to the fire and bar area. Our waitress was nice and quick. We ordered salad and two pizzas. The salad was great and our pizzas were good, but the one was somewhat burnt on the edges. I will be back later in the year after all the tourists are gone. read more

Great place to dine in or take out. Wonderful outside space complete with a fire pit for chilly cape cod nights. Food is always good. Only downfall is they do not take reservations and there is usually a very long wait. read more

Love this place. Great value lunch. Pizza and salad for $10. Both a great size and amazing flavors. Good for families.

We had the red bliss pizza, truffle frites, and the brownie sundae. All were delicious but I think next time we'll try another pizza. This place is awesome inside, great vibe, nicely decorated, good service. You can see them making the pizzas right in the wood fire oven, and there's a small bar with televisions. Outside there is a nice patio with tables, fire pits, and an outside bar where you can get food service. Great place for a date or small group, great for nice weather or cool nights. Can't go wrong inside or outside. Only complaint is that the seats are positioned so only one side of the table can see the television in most seats unless you're at the bar. Not much they can do about it, but keep in mind when you choose your seats if you both want to watch the TV or if you don't want it as a distraction. read more

Sat outside at the beginning of September. Great fire heaters so it wasn't too cold. Got the buffalo chicken meatballs and they were so good! Could have had a few orders of them! Then we had the duck bacon flatbread pizza which was also really good! Definitely want to go back to try a few more pizza options and indulge in more of the meatballs. read more

Crisp is a wonderful place especially for flatbreads and pizzas. A warm, friendly environment with top notch service. In the summer they have outside seating with firepits, outside bar and tables. It's a must if you are in the Osterville Cape area. Great food, great service, great crowd. read more

We just had an amazing dinner at Crisp with friends. We're visiting one couple with a baby and invited another couple with an infant and our table was likely a nightmare for them on a Sat evening. They were wonderful. Our waitress, the manager and everyone couldn't have handled our group any better and the food was great! What a great place! read more

Awesome pizza and super cool vibe. Went for lunch and had rocket salad(killer) and couple of pizzas. Very good and gourmet and unique.Great service and very friendly staff. Excellent salads, tagliatelle with clams was superb. The pasta itself was great, chewy but not hard. The sauce a perfect balance of spicy and garlicky with plenty of chopped clams. Garlic bread was meh with too much going on. Cheese and herbs distract from the oily garlicky crunch. The meatballs were very tasty and I am pretty picky about that since I consider my home made ones very highly. Service was a bit slow, but it was mid-afternoon on Independence Day so not unexpected. Staff was warm and friendly to us despite our disheveled presentation following a bike tour of the area. I didnt try the pizza, but I can vouch for the other items. We had a great night at Crisp's. We went out on a Friday night and there was a very little wait. We were seated with my wife and two young kids. We put in an app order and it was on the table within a couples of minutes. About 20 minutes later the manager came over an apologized for the delay on the pizzas and that he was comping our apps to make up for it. To be honest, it didn't feel long but we were appreciative of it. Great food, great atmosphere, really great service! read more

This is a weekly stop that I look forward to all week. Their vegetarian meatballs are amazing and this is coming from a meat eater. I've never been a big pesto fan, but the pesto with the veggie meatballs and margarita pizza is amazing. Great service and pizza. Was most impressed with the fact that they refunded half of our order because the wait time for our take out order was longer than they had predicted. Osterville, Massachusetts a small Cape Cod town with a Norman Rockwell feel is not a restaurant mecca. It does however have several decent restaurants such as Wimpy's (also a seafood market) and Five Bays that serve the mostly resident population . Crisp Flatbread is a recent addition that serves decent wood fired pizzas as well as a selected menu of typical finger food. Go on a warm night and sit outside at the bar, or on a cool night around the fire pit. The inside restaurant can be jammed on the weekend. There is limited amount of onsite parking, in the evening there is ample street parking when the shops close, but the afternoons can be tough. read more

I been living in osterville for a few years and this is by far the best pizza on cape cod everyone there is so nice even the manger/ owner I don't really know haha is awesome. I'm struggling here. I want to give it 4 stars because it is promising. I will try it again. My pasta dish was delicious, the one with Wellfleet cherrystones. The sauce was deep and rich in flavor. But the pollo pizza was flat. and I'm not referring to the flat bread. The flavor had no heart. And I think it's unfortunate that the crust is burned. The waitress insisted it is the way it is served - and yes they all came out looking that way. But our pizza was also late, arriving well after the other dishes. So I assumed it was burned. Maybe they need to do something about that presentation. All our friends raved about this place. So I will try it again. Like I said, it is promising. read more
