CSAs' were nice but I was told they didn't do credit checks and since I have poor credit they offered my a few phone within my price range but tried to catch me by telling me I didn't have to pay anything for the phone if I signed up that day and when they checked my credit (after saying they don't do that) they told me I had to put $500 down plus pay for the phone in full since they don't do payments on phones for people with bad credit. This is not just for this store. But for the business as a whole. If you are looking at these reviews to see if you should shop here I'll highly recommend you don't unless you have good credit. If not I'd recommend places that actually do not check credit. As a personal experience for businesses without credit checks that I've used: Verizon, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS(use at your own discretion as their customer service is terrible and they charge you for everything).

Capital City Antique Mall came up in my search (well there was another but they are closed on Tuesdays), and I was very pleased to find that they were in a large warehouse with plenty of vendors. That just means tons of cool stuff to scour through! And indeed there was plenty of artifacts and fun finds to take my time perusing! There were a few items that I wanted but couldn't purchase for the sake of space or other reasons, but they were absolutely beautiful. The photos I've shared below are only scratching the surface of the gamut of items that you can find at the antique mall. I ended up purchasing some small items to add to my shelf of collectibles at home, including my very first glass insulator. The staff are nice and everything is quite reasonably priced compared to CA antique stores. We will definitely be revisiting Capital City Antique Mall the next time we are in SLC!

I got one of their high quality sets of cookware a few months ago. At first I was a little…read moredisappointed, one of the pans turned gold when I started cooking in it and was kind of a pain to cook and clean in it. I finally called Kitchen Nutrition and asked them what the deal was and they told me to bring the pan over to them. I got there and they took one look at it and said it looked like the shipping oils got burned onto it. They took some of that Cameo cleaner that comes in the white bottle and scrubbed on it for about 5 minutes and cleaned it up like new. I started getting a little embarrassed because I remember them telling me I was supposed to wash it with soap and water and rinsed it with vinegar to get to shipping oils off before we started cooking in it or the oils would burn onto the metal and make it turn gold and be hard to cook in and clean up. But the were really nice, just cleaned it up and gave me a few pointers. I when home, started cooking in it and it cooked and cleans up now like a dream. I can't believe and incredible the food turns out in this. The meat it so juicy its amazing and it doesn't shrink all down. We've already saved a ton of money with these from not eating out as much because it's so easy to cook up a good meal in these.

I like antiques and I even like the look of some distressed or antiqued items. But a lof of what Rod Works had for sale looked cheap to me or sort of cheesy. I expect that in the end if Rod Works sells one or two things that you can't get anywhere else they are worth a mention. They definitely had a lot to offer in their small store. But if we hadn't had a gift card I'm not sure we would have purchased anything. The staff was friendly and helpful as Ann said.
