I purchased a new case from this kiosk located at Scottsdale Fashion Square in October just before Halloween. My old case, which I'd purchased from them almost 6 months prior, had a card slot built in where I stored my debit card. The representative switched out the old case for the new one while I casually looked at the other case options behind the glass. I DID NOT leave the kiosk during this time. Upon receiving my phone with the new case, I asked the guy for my old case. (Which again, housed my debit card. I hadn't used it that day, having just arrived at the mall & the kiosk was my first stop.) He said, "I already gave it back to you." After going back & forth with this guy for almost 5 minutes, the other associate, also male approaches me & hands over my old case. "There wasn't a card inside...", he says. At no point did I mention to either of these men that my debit card was inside the old case. Hmmmm.... I examined the old case to find that my debit card was now missing. Needless to say, I left the kiosk knowing my debit card hadn't excused itself from the case & disappeared on its own! Idk... maybe it grew bored or hungry... Anyway, I immediately drove directly to my financial institution & advised them of what happened. The personal banker advised that there were 3 pending online transactions that had been processed back to back within the last 20 minutes! Seriously!! Fortunately, I was able to have the 3 charges, (totaling $826.42), reversed & the card canceled due to fraud. I'm not accusing anyone of anything. Like I said, maybe the debit card decided to make a few online purchases on its own... idk. However I urge everyone to keep this in mind... CAVEAT EMPTOR. (Don't know what this means? Look it up!) After the first place, my phone screen stopped working (the touch) to the point where it wasn't responsive to any touch. The side volume was also pressed in. We called ahead of time to see if they were still open and the cost of replacement, and the man working (I didn't catch his name) kindly informed us of the cost and that I could bring it in even right before closing. He examined my phone before repairing to determine whether it would need repaired, replaced my screen, AND helped clean the volume button area to bring the button back out. He replaced it and my screen works perfectly well now. He was so so nice. I definitely recommend this place.

I have visited the store and looked through the products and spoken to the staff with questions. In addition, I have stopped by the Apple Store in general to purchase items, get a replacement iPhone, sell an old MacBook for store credit, and more. When I have previously entered the Apple Store, I remember being greeted by an Apple associated very quickly (identified by their colored shirt). They asked me a few questions to check me in, and before I knew it, someone came over to greet me and welcome me to the store and ask what I needed. This system is very well designed where everyone entering the store that needs anything engages with at least two employees if not more. Regardless of which employee, everyone is very knowledgeable and prepared to answer general questions while knowing who to go to for additional support. The store is beautiful and well laid out well with tables with items on display with other items on the side of room. There was also a classroom at the back of the store for sessions offered throughout the day. You can learn more about the Scottsdale Fashion Square location at https://www.apple.com/retail/scottsdalefashionsquare. It is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM. At this specific location, they offer many different sessions including a demonstration of Apple Vision Pro. They also have their Genius Bar (for technical support) and you can shop by drop-in, order a pickup in store, or make a reservation in advance for repair. With Apple being a huge product nowadays, having a store where you could do pretty much anything you want to do regarding Apple or its devices is a must have. I certainly recommend visiting any Apple Store including the Scottsdale Fashion Square location.

During the repair, the outer shell/housing was removed as part of the process. Shortly afterward, I discovered that the edge of the shell had been left sharp enough to cut my skin and snag/cut clothing and the pockets I place the phone into. This is not something I would consider an acceptable result from a professional repair. I made another appointment and returned to the store expecting Apple to inspect the issue and correct what appears to be a problem resulting from the original repair. Instead, I was told that I would have to submit another claim and pay again for the work. The response is what I find most troubling. This is not simply a request for an unrelated repair or a new service. If a component is removed or reinstalled during a repair and the phone is returned in a condition that creates a safety and usability issue, I believe the appropriate response is to inspect the workmanship and correct the problem rather than immediately treating the customer as though they are requesting an entirely new repair. For a company like Apple, the issue here is bigger than the cost. It is about accountability, workmanship, and integrity. Customers should be able to expect that a device returned from an Apple repair will be restored to a proper, safe, finished condition. If something is damaged, improperly fitted, or left in an unacceptable condition as part of that process, the customer should not have to pay again simply to have it corrected. I have generally had high expectations for Apple because of its reputation for quality and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience at Scottsdale Fashion Square did not meet that standard. I hope Apple will reconsider how situations like this are handled and take greater responsibility when a problem arises following a repair.

Dust and debri under glass( in my case, left permanent damage to my digitizer). I would have to take apart my phone and manually clean under my screen once a week. But hey my phone has new glass. They said they put in a new earpiece. After a couple of days, the static came back. When I took apart my phone, the earpiece looked really dirty (i've had this phone for about 2 years) It obviously wasn't brand new. But the worst part was the customer service His main excuse for not getting the dirt outta my phone or not looking at the earpiece or the digitizer was, "can't take apart the glass cause I might break it".
