Do not do business with them. I have a business in town and went to reduce my bill. Was told that they could reduce my bill about 30%. That my new iPhones were going to be on them with my old phones turn in. Long story short, my new phones were never paid for, I ended up paying for half of them, my old phones only covered half. I got Ryan Becker to send me a written email, and nothing from that email came true. He is a liar and they should be taken the name Verizon. My bill is now higher than what it was when I came to them and he just kept lying about my bill and the "discounts" I can get. They waited the 30 days because I was going to return everything and that when Ryan sent me the email with all the terms he agreed on, which eventually are a lie. He sent me the email so I just don't return the phones before the allowable time. read more

I cannot scream it loud enough to stay clear of this store specifically and verizon retail stores in general!! We had THE WORST experience dealing with WALTER BELL at this location. My mother came in to get a new phone and she left with a "free" watch, ipad, iphone 15 & accessories. Upon paying almost $500 that day, leaving confused she realized there was a catch to it all. Walter Bell scammed her by fooling my mother who had no idea what was going on. She also stated she did not want the phone plans to change and Walter ensured her the bill would not go up by getting all these things. Little did she know he changed all the phone plans to a lower plan to keep the bill the same to make it all seem free. She came back the next day to return what she could. Walter Bell took off our insurance coverage which weve had in place for almost 10 years, which we then needed not even 2 months later and got bit in the a$$ by not having it. The store, managers and even Victra the company that runs this "verizon" store offered NO HELP. Theyre all schemers. Its been a week and still no call to follow up from management about all this. RUN THE OPPOSITE WAY!! WALTER BELL IS A SCAMMER AND SO IS VECTRA COMPANY IN GENRAL. They work off commission so they dont care about anything else then what goes into their pocket. Fountain Hill AZ worst Verizon store visited in 30 years, at least 15 stores in a number of states. Horrible, rude, lazy and incompetent staff. I'd drive 50 mi out of my way before visiting this store again. Never got to selection or value. Biggest mistake was trying a 2nd time. Won't be a 3rd. And Verizon cell, text, internet service in the Phoenix area has gotten progressively worst in last 6 months. If I hadn't signed up for a 2 year deal with Verizon in another state 9 months ago I'd drop the whole company. read more

I highly highly caution you to NOT go here. I think they purposely scam people and the manager is the rudest and sorry "sketchiest" person I've ever met. This is only my second bad review (the first being a doggy day that lost my brother's dog) so it takes A LOT. These guys lied to me, didn't send me a receipt as promised so I didn't see the crazy plan they signed me up for and the outrageous mark-up on the case, charger and shield for my new phone. When I did discovered this, I called and stopped by 5 times nicely asking for the manager to call me. On the 6th time I stopped by he was there and when I say I have never encountered someone ruder I'm probably understating. I was in shock especially as they had scammed me. I had him call Verizon and explain what they had done and then spent two hours on the phone with a nice woman who had to fix it. After 3 hours, $104 of the bogus $137 they initially charged me was refunded. And my plan went from $137 (weird coincidence) a month to $53 total with a new iPhone 15. I'm trying to figure out how best to report them because I wonder how many people they've done this to. The Chamber of Commerce? There are quite a few more senior people that go there and if they managed to scam me (usually I'm more savvy) I can't even imagine what they're doing to others. Stay away! And better yet go to a corporate store (this is like a franchise which I hadn't realized) or call Verizon directly. To that manager - you have a "blessed day." Product was open, I was told to come back later and exchange. I came back to exchange, was told they can't return it for an online order. I wasn't there for a return. It's an exchange. They said it doesn't matter. I told him that I had a bad experience the day prior, with customer service online and the rep who was there. He interrupted me and got hostile, he really didn't care, and it's clear there's no oversight or accountability at this store. Looked at me maybe 2 seconds of the 10 minutes I had interacting with him, and couldn't even say to the current customers "one moment, let me take care of his pickup" or anything like that. Just a really apathetic person. If you are picking up a phone, don't expect them to care or provide you proper customer service. They are probably on commission and don't care about people who can't contribute to that. You can tell by the hooner cars out front they only care about themselves and getting money. Management: if you want to reach out to me go ahead, commenting about the bad experience in reply to this really doesn't do anything, or make it look like you're trying to help. I went to this location for a phone upgrade. As we were checking out our customer service rep, without disclosing costs, put two screen protectors on our new phones which were charged at $65 each. These protectors MSRP at 30. He also told us he was "throwing in" several chargers and wall plugs, which came out to well over 200 dollars. He never disclosed the amount each of these items would cost until it was time to pay and I looked at the receipt. After reviewing the receipt I came back ti return the items, and was immediately met with the question, "Why didn't you say anything? I had it all laid out in front of you. The lack of professionalism during the return and transparency when adding costly items to our exchange just leave me with what can only be described as an unpleasant experience. I should have checked the other YELP reviews before stopping in. Do yourself a favor and visit a Verizon corporate store instead; as an aside, I would not recommend paying for the overpriced accessories which can be found at MSRP from other retailers. read more

Beware the local Verizon Authorized Retail Store in Fountain Hills. Do not trust what they tell you about the "Free" iPhone offer and the "Buy More, Save More" offer. Do not let your guard down but do demand to get pricing and terms in writing before agreeing to anything. Run -- don't walk -- away if they cannot do this. Do not let them add accessories to your "free" (ha ha ha) iPhone or add additional lines without your express permission and knowledge of price and terms. Do not believe them if they say "printer is broken" as an excuse for not providing a receipt. Do not believe them when they tell you your monthly bill will be actually lowered by partaking in Verizon's "special" offers. Do not expect the Verizon call center to be of any help whatsoever in helping you unravel the mess you've gotten yourself into through the store's deceitful sales practices but do expect to be on the phone for hours and hours with no resolution and having every "customer service" rep tell you something totally different every time you call. Unfortunately I cannot share how I finally resolved this costly mess because I'm still trying, months later. I welcome any suggestions but in the meantime, if I can help you avoid getting ripped off at the Fountain Hills Verizon Authorized Retail Store, I will be at least be glad for that! read more

In August I took advantage of a pre-order deal for a new phone in which I would receive nearly $1,000 for my old phone. A few months later I discovered that they had not documented that my old phone had been turned in, therefore they did not apply the rebate and accused me of taking my old phone with me at the time of the purchase. It took 10 weeks for them to review the security cameras and confirm that I had indeed turned in my phone. I was then told 2 weeks later, that they found my phone in the bottom of their safe along with other phones that I assumed were also exchanged for a new phones. After accusing me of not turning in my phone for months, and numerous visits on my part to check on the status of the security camera review (at least 15 visits), they discovered that they were wrong. Was there anything that even resembled an apology? No! Also there appears to be no urgency in applying the agreed upon rebate to my account. As of this morning they had not submitted a request for my rebate that was due to me back in AUGUST (it is now January). I have heard every excuse under the sun. I was promised it would happen today and it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles. On top of all of this, early on I reached out to the district manager Adam Jonus, who didn't have the common courtesy to respond to my 2 emails. Unbelievable. read more

This Verizon store is crazy busy, but Cole is an amazing service provider. The other person scheduled to be on duty did not show. Cole very methodically dealt with everyone, as best he could and not everyone was happy about waiting so long. He handled a variety of technical issues with other customers and was very calm and polite. My situation was particularly demanding because of some issues within the Verizon activation system and he continued to seek options and creative ways to get my service up and running. They said they would call as soon as they received the items, which they estimated in a day or 2. it is 3 weeks since, no phone call, nothing. Not only was I not even greeted or even a "we'll be right with you" but I waited in line for 40 minutes and not even a "sorry for the wait". They had inaccurate information on the account showing that I purchased my 3 year old phone last week and they wouldn't let me purchase a new phone without driving all the way to their corporate offices. He went above and beyond and stayed on the customer service line for almost 4 hours trying to get my issue fixed. Wow customer service that actually takes care of the customer. I was having some difficulty with one of my Verizon gadgets. I took it in to the local Verizon store. There was one other person in the store when I got there. Employee Aronn S. was the solitary CSR as everyone else had gone home. Aronn decided to multitask and did so with amazing accuracy. By this time, two other people came in. At a time of day when other employees might tell us that they need to close and suggest we come back the next day, he did not. Aronn rose to the challenge splendidly. He stayed after hours to finish the project for me, all with a sense of humor and diligence. This kind of customer service is uncommon these days. It's for exactly this reason that I am writing this review. Aronn proved himself to be exemplary in all manner of customer service and product knowledge. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a Verizon authorized retailer. First time, and also the last time I will be visiting a Victra location. "Leighton" was the representative who assisted me. First off, I placed an order for a new phone, and they said they would call me when it came in. They never did, I went in based on the tracking information saying it had been delivered. From beginning to end, "Leighton" was extremely unprofessional. What company allows a representative assisting a customer to be able to wear a hoodie with his hood up the whole time? When I opened my account, he assured me that he got it all taken care of. I specified numerous times that I ONLY wanted the device plan & Apple One on my account. However, it was also my oversight, when I left I was not provided with any receipts or anything of the sort. I came to find out he had added on 100GB mobile hotspot, Verizon Protect Plan, and a Travel Pass plan. All things I specified I did NOT want. At the time of check-out I was asked to pay "taxes" on my new device. I asked for a receipt and he said he could email it to me. Of course, I never did receive a copy of my receipt. After contacting Verizon Billing, there was some suspicion raised as to the amount I was charged in store. Verizon was not able to provide me an itemized receipt, and according to the Verizon rep, I was charged an extra $40 that could not be explained. I was then told I would have to reach out to Victra specifically to try to get a copy of the itemized receipt as it is possible that Victra could charge their own "activation fee". Verizon also reached out to the store and asked the manager to give me a call. I never received a call either. You would think that the Victra rep who assisted me would have explained all my charges and provided me with some sort of paperwork at check-out. Nope, I only walked out with my phone and was told it would get emailed to me. That was also my own oversight for not asking for a printed copy. I can't help but feel like I was scammed. I would be diligent in asking questions if you decide to go to this location. read more

I traded in my Samsung 9 plus yesterday for a very expensive 1900$ plus tax phone. I was told I can return it for a different new phone and have the 800$ credit applied-NO PROBLEM. The guy Cole today, the manager tried to tell me he may not be able to do this. I called 2 other local stores and spoke to a manager at the corporate store and the info he is giving me --IS FALSE. Go to the corporate store and avoid hassles. This is so not okay and I am also in touch with the store manager above him, Pedro Benitez. Just know your rights and don't get bamboozled by the young people working there who are supposed to follow the franchise rules for ANY Verizon store. I am absolutely furious that they would lie and it is FRAUD. I am also writing corporate today and documenting the fact that the manager tried to tell me "there was nothing he could do". BS. Sorry, you are not doing the right thing and I will also put this on Facebook so others do not get taken advantage of. Bullfrogs Verizon store in Fountain Hills is great. We have purchased several phones and tablets from them. Everyone is polite and helpful, but , Tyler was exceptional handling this couple of 60 something's. He was Vastly more patient than my children when we ask them for help! He navigated us through synching up our equipment and a number of other questions that deviled us but we're no problem for Tyler. He was efficient and never made us feel stupid. My daughter and I went in to this Verizon Store at 7:40PM following her softball game. We knew the store closed at 8 but it was the first chance we had had. We were mentally prepared to be turned away as we knew we were pushing our luck because we needed to get three new phones and all that this entails. Both Jakob and Patrick could not have been nicer or more accommodating. When I went in to YELP to write this review, imagine my shock to read about poor customer service and closing early. Had I read these beforehand, I doubt I would have gone there and that would have been unfortunate. Both of these young men were wonderful and patient in spite of us keeping them almost an hour past closing. To top everything off we were unable to answer one of my husbands security questions and Jakob assured me that he would be there at 9 AM and my husband could come in then and he would complete the transfer of pictures, contacts, apps, etc.. Both Patrick and Jakob were professional, patient and cheerful. They chatted with us and were open and fun while waiting for all of our old phones to transfer to the new phones. My advice is to not necessarily believe the reviews posted prior to this one. I highly recommend this location for all of your mobile phone needs and if they are available, request to work with Patrick or Jakob. read more

My plan was up after being with Verizon for 8 years. My partner went in to open a new account. We told them we wanted to purchase 2 new IPhone 6's and we were told they would be $200.00 each (paid right there for both) and $140.00 a month for the service. After 3 visits we finally got our phones. Two weeks later we get a bill with equipment charges that total $1,100 per phone (including the $200 we paid) No one said we were financing the phones. We told them we wanted to purchase them. I went into Costco the next day and they said the IPhone 6 was $169.99 with a new plan. The manager was rude, un apologetic that his staff mis inform clients. Of course they have you sign a screen with 2-3 pages of terms so you have no recourse. This is why next time I will to to AT&T even if the service is not a s good, Do not go to this Verizon dealer!!!!! read more

What a nightmare. The flash on my iPhone was staying on and I took it there to have them look at it. She said I had water damage. Fine, I'll put a claim into LifeProof, but now I can't because she damages the case taking it off. I point out that she failed to remove the earphone jack plug before taking the case off and that's why it's messed up. She denies it and so does her manager, who wasn't even looking at her work. Now Verizon won't help me because it's a franchise and the store denies they screwed up my LifeProof case. All I can say is that they suck, they don't stand behind their work and they are not honest. The case wasn't cheap and Verizon offered me 20% off. Big deal. My phone is still screwed up and now I can't make a claim against LifeProof and I have an expensive case that doesn't work because the person at the store wrecked it. Jakob was professional, yet fun and easy to talk with. I explained what I wanted and he transferred my contacts from one phone to another in less than 15 mins with no problems. Previously we went to Verizon off Shea in Fountain Hills and spent over two hours to get my husband's new phone and then she told me it could take one to two hours more for her to transfer my contacts to his old phone. Upon hearing that I knew we were in the wrong store location. Jakob on E Palisades was quick and accurate....a pleasure to deal with. Buyer beware! When you buy from this third party, you are signing a contract with both Verizon & the mybullfrog.com store. This means if you have a fee, such as an early termination fee, you are expected to pay both Verizon AND the mybullfrog.com store. For the same fee! This store frequently closes early- 15 minutes or so, you can go into the store, but they will tell you the computers have been shut down and they can't (won't) help you. Regarding the salespeople, it seems they are unaware of the concept of ethics and fraud and will lie straight to your face. Go to an actual Verizon store. read more

This store is amazing! I originally went to a corporate store in Phoenix near my house to purchase a new phone and unfortunately, I was not given great customer service at all. All the customer service sales rep wanted was my sale. He wouldn't even transfer my old phone to my new phone. Long story short, my mom took me to this location and it was a night and day difference. Grace helped me so much and made me feel very valued. I appreciate her wonderful customer service and kindness she showed to me. She immediately fixed my phone and got it working how it should. If I ever need to have help with my phone, I will drive 40 minutes just to get this locations help and assistance. They know the meaning of what customer service truly is. Also, they (fellow employees), even sang me Happy Birthday. Thanks guys! Love my new phone and you made my experience a wonderful and a breeze. :) read more
