Then he explains that it's a driver issue the updates from HP are not compatible with the laptop. He was unable to tell me year and model of the laptop. However, he says he has a fix for it. I pick up the laptop and the graphics are horrible and look very outdated. This has been most inconvenient as I work from home. I have essentially lost 2+ work days and have an outdated computer. I was able to connect the TV to Wifi but she only wants what she knows and that's regular U-Verse viewing with her familiar universal remote. In his defense, 2 hours on the phone with ATT didn't solve the problem and a tech was scheduled. Two minutes on google AI advised me to get an HDMI cable and explained the reasons.
