Extremely poor customer service! I tried to contact this…read morelocation over the telephone to ask if they carried a specific telephone that I have been looking to purchase. Since I do not live close to this store location I wanted to check so that I would not waste my time or gas driving that far. The first person who answered the phone went to check and let me know what colors are available. When they came back to the phone they hung up on me. I called right back to the store and a different person answered the phone. I explained that I was hung up on and asked this second person the same question to find out if they carried this specific phone. I was told, "I believe we should have it". When I asked if he could check to make sure he again said "We should have it". I then explained to this person that I would like to be sure the phone was in stock so that I don't waste a long trip to their location. The representative then said that that was all of the information that they could tell me. Bottom line is that customer "non-service" like this will drive away potential customers and put off current AT&T customers. I would avoid this location.

I am posting this review so others can make an informed decision before choosing AT&T…read more Over the past four months in Atlanta, my experience with AT&T has involved account setup errors, duplicate accounts, improper service disconnections, restoration fees despite payment, and ultimately the loss of phone service during an emergency. I was enrolled in FirstNet after being told in-store that I qualified based on my profession. Months later, I was told I did not qualify and needed to re-verify. While on the phone attempting to resolve that issue and switch to a standard plan, I was involved in a car accident. I informed the representative that I needed to call 911 and was told my service was being switched and that I could make the call. After calling 911, my phone service was completely disconnected. I could not call my family. I could not access GPS. Police were unable to reach me when they attempted to call back. I was left waiting for hours because AT&T had shut off the service I pay for--during an active emergency. Separate from that incident, my internet account was set up incorrectly with a mistyped email address, creating a second account without my knowledge. This led to a service shutoff for "nonpayment" even though I had paid and had credits on my account. I was charged a $40 restoration fee and have yet to receive that back. Despite multiple assurances that my accounts were merged, I continue to experience confusion within AT&T's system. The issue here is not inconvenience. It is reliability and safety. A mobile carrier should not disconnect a customer mid-resolution, especially during a 911 situation. If you choose AT&T, verify your account setup carefully, confirm plan eligibility in writing, and monitor your billing closely. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AT&T.

HORRIBLE experience at "The Landings" AT&T Store…read more Sales rep was slow and did not listen. We purchased an after-market phone online for my mom thats just a basic phone. AT&T does not offer a good quality "senior" phone and mom is "technology challenged" so getting her an iPhone or Android is out of the question. We went to AT&T Store to get a new SIM card for the phone we purchased. We were informed that the after-market phone was not compatible with AT&T and that it was 3G - when in fact all we needed was the correct size SIM card and the phone is 4G and is compatible - says so on the box and the website. Sales rep did not listen - was extremely slow and did not want to assist because this was not a sale and was not making a commission He fumbled around attempting to get the sim card out of the old phone and then after lying to us about the new phone told us her old phone was not working at all... but was working when we walked in the door before he messed with it. Lost ALL mom's contacts while messing with the phone and he allowed a paying customer to walk out the door with a non working phone.. I took the phone to AT&T Lithia Springs store where I received EXCELLENT service. They replaced the SIM card and phone was online in minutes. I did have to wait for 4 people in front of me but once they got to me it only took a few minutes. Fast forward a few days and there has been an increase in my bill for almost $100 - seems the person at "The Landings" added a phone to my account rather than just swap the physical device... Had to spend an hour with AT&T on the phone getting this taken off... Please get a service rep that has been properly trained and knows what he's doing.
