Took almost two hours to fix simple problem of loose ribbon cables; claimed it took 45 minutes to open the laptop case, a task other techs usually accomplish in 5-10 minutes. Gave ridiculous excuses for lengthy repair; claimed that the plastic case was hard to open because the computer was running Windows 8. (Yeah, it's a bad OS, but it doesn't make the screws on the case any harder to remove.) Owner then went nuts and accused me of being this problem customer from 2008 who'd made obscene phone calls to his shop or something. He claimed he had "records" of my activity and was going to take me to court for being a thief (???). He'd been screaming all throughout the computer pickup, but he began going weirdly in and out of my personal space, as if he were deciding whether or not to initiate physical contact. Would not stop being aggressive while I booted up the computer to check to see that the work had been done. I eventually felt threatened enough to leave the shop; I had to call the police to protect me from being assaulted by the owner while paying the bill.

Popped in with 3 watches - the nice lady said 10-15 minutes, so I came back. (Was offered coffee, water, soda). Giving two stars because staff were friendly, apologetic and offered to mail them back to me since I won't be home to pick up for three weeks. UPDATE 9/13: I'm home. The clips were not shipped as I was told they would be on 8/26. I had to drive to the store - 30 minutes - to check status. They were still just sitting here. I waited weeks for engraving that never happened. I waited weeks more for shipping that never happened. Not once did the store contact me. Not once did they do what they committed to doing. I will not, again, work with this jeweler.
