Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). He would not accept the responsibility to damage done to my phone and wanted to charge for a new screen. I walked out with an expensive and broken phone. The tech then proceeded to create a Google account using my name to leave a positive review. I know how speak and write in English. The review that he wrote used broken English - "Fix my iPhone 12 thanks for shopping Ez fix". This is identify theft. There are several Google reviews with broken English, makes me wonder what other information this person is stealing from customer phones.
