Definitely going to have to keep this company in my back pocket if I ever have any electricity…read moreissues... So I woke up around a week ago with a frig that had no light on when I went to try and get water. I started checking things in the frig and found 2 outlets not working. Then I found 2 more outlets in the Living Room that also were out. Everything else in the house was fine though. I reset the breakers and GFI switches. Nothing worked. So we rushed to get as much refrigerator and freezer stuff to a friend's house. But we needed an electrician. How could only part of the house be out of power like this? Monday I looked for a quote on Yelp. Never have tried before but within minutes a bunch of companies messaged me. Bayside Electric was one of them. Not only did they respond to me within an hour on Yelp, they also called and left a Voicemail. I talked to someone named Kaylee I think and she gave me the good news that someone might be able to come out in the afternoon. She wanted to call me back and double check to be sure. But within the hour, she called me back and an appointment for that same day was set. She also informed me of the rates beforehand. Chris was the gentleman who fixed our problem. He was super kind and professional when he arrived. He came with bags on his shoes to not track dirt in the house. He fixed our issue within minutes and educated me on the issue. Basically one of our breakers burned out so he just ended up replacing it. He also gave me two other scenarios, one being cleaning out the whole circuit breaker or the other option of completely replacing it. But never once did he ever feel like anything was dire. You know how you go to typical auto shops or even dealership and they make you seem like your car is not going to run the next day unless you get whatever they recommend fixed? Chris never did any scare tactics to make me seem like we were in trouble. It was so refreshing. When I mentioned that he said its because Bayside Electric was like his previous employer. Family owned so they aren't ever pressured to make sales on every service call. They are just there to help. So yea thats my story. If you are having any electrical issues this holiday, I highly recommend Bayside Electric. I can always get behind a company that doesn't want to treat their customers like a number.

Highly recommended.

Reached out to Rooter Hero for checking out a backyard storm drain before the rain season starts…read more Our rooter hero was Benjamin Zecic and he was absolutely great. He was very patient in explaining the process for snaking the drain vs getting it hydro jetted. We did the snake to clear some gunk immediately , and then he came back with his supervisor to do a camera inspection and recommend further fixes needed. Overall great experience making the appointment, tracking the arrival and handling the service! Price is also very reasonable for unclogging drain but we're still thinking about a much more expensive job for the hydro jetter.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this business. I found them through Yelp while…read moretrying to contact a different plumbing business. The company replied to my service request immediately and sent a link to make an appointment for an estimate online. I made an appointment for between 10am-noon on a Friday. That morning they call me to say that they need to reschedule (strike one). A person showed up within the updated 2-hour window only to share that they had sent the wrong person, he can't do estimates (???!!!) and someone who does estimates from their company would need to be sent out later (strike 2). I started to get annoyed because I had taken off the morning for work, but thought, let me just be patient. About an hour later the first worker comes back with his telephone and asks me to speak with his manager who said that he couldn't come out that day but could come out the next day (when I wasn't available). He proceeded to argue with me about what was needed and never once apologized for my wasted work day. (strike three) At this point, I felt that I had wasted enough time with this company. No one seemed to know what they were doing (the company's dispatch), or why they were doing it (the first worker sent to my house). I'll take this as I dodged a bullet, as I had not read the other reviews until just now. At least now I know better than to just trust Yelp to pick good companies when they ask if you'd like to send your service request to other companies.
