He appeared extremely professional, came into the unit to give estimate with a clipboard. Asked me what I wanted and then it went all downhill. It was quite an extensive amount of work that needed to be done. He immediately starting questioning my funding in front of the seller. It got so bad I had to say, We can discuss your financial concerns, but the seller doesn't need to be privy to this level of my business. We leave out and he seems ok again, just wanted to be sure I could get the funding. I'm like no problem can you put the bid in tonight. He says ok. I call him the next morning because the bid hasn't been submitted and he is like Oh I was really busy yesterday. Ill TRY to get to it by the end of the day. Again he did not, After a week goes by. I ask do you want this job... He says to be honest I would have passed if I knew it was all this work that needed to be done. At that point I was done. We no longer need to communicate. We moved into our home in 2019 and wanted to get our garage floor coated before we moved in. We searched the internet and found Anthony and American Floor Coatings. Well, we should have waited those 2+ months, because it's been nothing but problems with this floor. Anthony installed our garage floor in spring 2019. The top coating was very runny and did not give a good coverage. In an effort to fix this, Anthony added an additional coat, but it only increased the puddling at the bottom of the step. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the finished result, but he refused to take any additional steps to remedy the situation. The next year, in early fall 2020, we noticed that the apron of the floor, which is exposed to the sunlight and weather, was yellowing. I called Anthony and he explained that they found out they did indeed use the wrong top coating product the previous year. He said he would add us to the schedule to come out and redo the apron with the correct product. After multiple attempts to schedule the work, he eventually got back to me, but it was too late to do the repairs due to the cold weather, so he said he would do it in the spring. I contacted him in the spring of 2021 and was told again that he would add us to the schedule. It is now August 2021 and we haven't heard from him since. In the meantime, the apron of our floor not only has yellowed, it is fully wearing away. We feel we should not have to hound Anthony to honor the lifetime guarantee of his product and service. Do not use American Floor Coatings. Terrible service.

My garage was a different case. It looks like shit only a few months after he was here. My shop also looks like shit after people were on it. I have called and texted him to come back and fix his job with no response. He has no problem answering for new business but not fixing the problem he causes after he provides his service. I would never use his company again. He seems credible from the consult but forget about any follow up. If you are into cat and mouse games, give these cats a call and get ready for a pathetic ride. $4,500 for my shop $2,000 for my house Dont expect a call back ever 0 communication

While the job was completed at a reasonable price, it was more trouble than it should have been. I'd choose another company if I had to do it over again. Despite paying Dan to handle all aspects of the install, his contractors relied on my condo building engineer to complete some of the work, and even left early before the job was finished. When Dan sent a final payment request without following up on the end results, I messaged him to let him know there were some areas that required touching up. As a paying customer, I didn't think it was unreasonable to let him know that some areas were not completed to my satisfaction, but he didn't respond well to this communication and got very defensive. Another resident in my building reported a similar experience with Dan. Eventually, one of his contractors came back out and begrudgingly completed the requested touch-ups. A little less than a year after the install, I had some issues with an area of the install. I reached out to Dan for recommendations, but he never responded.

I was also selling a condo which had very worn floors that needed refinishing. Dan Corvo came, evaluated & made recommendations that were all amazing. For the bungalow, he suggested I go for a darker color to match the wood. He asked something like, " do you want to refinish or restore?" I was a little tentative but decided to listen to the expert. I am so glad I did!! They are stunning!! As for the condo, he suggested I don't use a stain. Just refinish & protect. They are beautiful, light & clean looking. Of course, they could have made more money if they had also stained the floors, but suggesting otherwise proves they care about customers more than the almighty dollar. Last but not least, all the workers on both jobs were nice, respectful and cleaned up after the project. The price for both was very fair. I am so glad I used Great floors & listened to Dan.

He works early and stays late. He came as a referral from homebuilders we know. We brought him on to rip out the carpet in the basement and guest bedroom upstairs. We came to an agreement and both rooms would be one flat fee but I would have to buy the material for the basement flooring. Which was fine because he ended up picking up 19 boxes/445 sq feet of flooring from Floor and Decor for me! Between ripping out the carpets, installing the new floors, disposal of the carpets and staining the wood floor in the guest bedroom upstairs, it took him about 4 days. When I say he works his butt off, he works his butt off. One day he must've worked 9 hours straight without a meal! I offered to buy him lunch but he refused. He's a super nice guy and will work hard for you. After finishing up yesterday, he said he's been doing flooring for over 20 years. His works shows such! I wish him continued success! In

Joel is the owner, I'm always working on my bikes so oil spills and gas spills would hold up until clean up, also another concern was slippery when wet, "I was told the over flake would hold the traction. I have an attached garage about 550 sq feet, about a year after the floors were epoxied, my bike spills gas and left a mark that penetrated through the seal after that I noticed the yellow discoloration of the whole seal, (yellow) Jan 2021 I called the company and the owner said he would come in spring, spring comes and I follow up, then finally comes in September. his (workers)came and I asked him to personally come and look, never happened, the workers determined the discoloration along with the stains cannot come out. The owner offered me another seal after the epoxy was set for an additional charge, I didn't think I had to put another seal on top of a seal, so basically it was my fault for not paying the additional upcharge of the better seal. my only two options. 1) strip it down, reflake and put (the good commercial seal on it) with silica sand for traction $1500 2) sand it down and put the (good commercial seal on it) with silica sand I went with number 2 because I cannot see spending more money on what was supposed to be done right the first time and didnt realize they would just put a good seal over a bad seal without even sanding it down and you can see the tape marks from where my carpets were placed after the fact not to further due damage to whatever they put on this floor that never held up to anything. My overhang off the door that exposes the alley gets SUNlight and was completely destroyed. so they grinded that part and reflaked it, which you will see the difference, but my garage is attached with very minimal sunlight I just don't understand if you are paying close to 3k for a garage floor, why would I have to be sold for a better seal when this happened in just two years... the whole original seal is discolored and I have never seen anything like this. Joel the owner said he will not warranty the discolored seal because it has never happened and its my fault because he said I put gas all over the floor to have it discolored, how would and why would I put gas all over my floor even on the side walls...(mind blowing) so now I have to hire another company to grind and put on the seal that was supposed to be on in the first place. Its clear they used below subpar top coat. They should have put on a good top coat to begin with so we wouldnt have this issue, but this is exactly what happened, refunded me partial payment but thats not what I wanted I wanted it done right and thats it, he didnt want to pay out of pocket anymore and would rather have me waste my time to write this review. Conclusion they put a good seal over a bad seal and now Im back to square one.

The project included sanding and refinishing the existing worn oak wooden floors through-out our main living area (kitchen, eating area, entry way and hallways) and repairing damage due to scratching, gouging and wear and replacing broken wooden vents. In addition, we contracted Floors U Walk On to install and finish a distinctive oak floor in our dining room that needed to merge and match the existing flooring. Veny, one of the owners, met with us and advised us regarding the project and gave several recommendations, including options we hadn't even expected were available. We took most of his expert advice and are glad we did. Our expectations were exceeded. The entire project was completed in two days and the floors are absolutely stunning. The transitions from old to new areas are seamless. The refinished floors look amazing despite the prior wear and indentations due moving furniture. What made the project enjoyable is the excellent communication by the owners, attention to our needs and follow-through. In addition, the project team put up extensive plastic barriers to protect our home from dust and did a thorough clean-up afterwards.
