We started with a few lighter appetizers, but they ended up being more than enough. We shared three sets of tacos: the fish, pork, and short rib. Each order comes with two tacos, which makes them perfect for sharing and trying different flavors. The esquites were also really tasty and all paired very well. My daughter had a cheese quesadilla, which she absolutely loved. For drinks, I went with an Old Fashioned (my go to classic) while my wife ordered the "Clock It" mocktail. Both were solid choices. I also appreciated that they brought out boxed water for my daughter, which was a nice touch. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. There's also a fairly large bar right at the entrance, so you don't necessarily have to come here for a full meal. I could easily see Mezcal being a great date-night spot or a place to grab drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. There's also plenty of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Next time, I want to try some of the main dishes. It's a higher-end restaurant, so expect the prices to reflect that, but between the food, atmosphere, service, and presentation, I thought it was well worth the experience.
