Crestline Comics accomplishes this by providing a much needed space for those interested in trading cards and comics and their second location is a venue for people to socialize, play games, and have community. Chris is extremely knowledgeable in all things comics, trading cards, and now, video games. He and his cohort Travis are a delight to speak and I have passed many an hour just talking about Pokemon and gaming. I must frequently buy cards here and I have always received excellent deals. Crestline Comics is the best! It's always awesome to go in an have a chat with the owner about the new comics or things around town. Even though the shop appears small, they have a wide variety of different comics, toys, hobby items, and card games. My son has really enjoyed going to the official Pokemon league and meeting new friends his age who share his love for the game. Don't let the small store front fool you, this place has a lot of great stuff! Lots of new weekly comics, plus plenty of back issues. Everything seems to be priced fairly. Lots of cool wall books, and statues to look at. The owner is really nice and helpful. I go to A Shop Called Quest for most of my books because it is closer. but will certainly be stopping in here regularly too. Definitely worth the drive up the mountain, make a day of it and grab some pizza at Roadhouse right across the street. read more

Im a local up here. This place is epic! I usually have to go down the mountain only to find nothing. My wife was even surprised i actually bought something. This place just opened up and i found the coolest stuff for prices we need up here. Walked out with one piece, spawn, and the crow. Tom and Chris were the nicest dudes and helped me with all my absurd wants. They just kept pulling out banger after banger and versions of things i didnt know existed like spider punk. The cover was so awesome i had to throw it on the stack. The shop is much bigger than i thought too with a huge selection to choose from. I had to slow myself down because i wasnt prepared to finally find stuff. Im happy and HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone local or out of town. read more

I love it!!! The owners are so nice! They have an amazing selection of comics, graphic novels and even super cool statues. I'm a huge nerd and I'm soooooo glad that there's a fantastic comic book shop now right here in town. Everything is very well priced too! I bought some toys (a really cool Iron Giant toy!), comics and graphic novels and everything is very fairly priced! I'll be sure to come in every chance I get! My only negative which isn't even really much of a negative, is that I usually always work until 6PM and I wish that they were open from 12 to 7 instead of 11 to 6, that way I could stop by after work. I went to the opening day of Crestline Comics and had a blast. While their selection of comics is small, they make up for it for having something for every fandom. Statues, manga, dungeons and dragons, TCG's, whatever you're looking for it'll have some representation. They also plan on growing and including more of what their customers want as they had attendees fill out customer cards. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. First off, let me just say that as a now 45 year old comic nerd, I have been going to comic book stores since I was a young boy. Used to literally walk to one on the regular where I lived in Apple Valley and as I've grown and traveled I have continued to visit comic stores all over the country so believe me when I say how excited I am to have one 2 minutes away and I'd like to think I know what a good comic store should feel and look like. Crestline Comics has that special look and feel, and even though it may be small to start, they have ample variety and are clean and organized, and staff is friendly. I was very impressed with the selection of raw books. I found bronze, copper, and modern age books by the BIG 2, including indies in great condition and well taken care of. Many stores don't sell raw or slabbed books and most definitely don't offer statues, so Crestline Comics is a nerd haven for collectors! That's not even counting all the other toys and cards, graphic novels, and art. Lastly, I'll just say I'm kind of puzzled by some of the negativity this store has gotten so soon. It's brand new! Kinks and adjustments are inevitable. So give Crestline Comics a chance, I certainly know I will! I personally am looking forward to more future comic fun! read more

They reached out to the community asking for donations, after being a a start up business and also claiming they buy comics. Which is a red flag. I went to their opening on May 4th and they had hardly any FCBD books, I should have just gone down the hill to the better LCS to get the books I wanted, because they didn't have really anything. When I brought the comics up to see if they would buy them. They offered pennies to the dollar on books that were signed and worth a lot more. Which I was let asking for much. I was asking way less than eBay comp. I just wanted to get rid of them. The place is expensive, paid $25 on a $12 book that I didn't realize until I got home and looked it up on eBay. Bad customer service. They looking to get free hand me outs and pretend they are "helping out the community." Don't bring your comics in to sell there because you will get scammed. You are best to sell them on eBay or hand them down to family or pawn them. Probably get more at a pawn shop. ***Put it this way. I would rather take the extra 15 min drive down the hill to the other 3 comic stores that have way bigger selections and better service, than this one, OR buy my books online.*** ***The swap-meet has cheaper trading cards also.*** read more

I found a bunch of old Flash issues that had been missing from my collection and also managed to pick up some other gems that I didn't even know I wanted.
