It was a nice, hot, muggy day! We enjoyed the BBQ, the beer, and the cocktails. I don't drink beer (but if I did I'm sure it would be Shiner beer) so I was glad to see they had a distillery with pretty much a full bar. Three of us took the tour, which was fascinating! The AC was not working well in some parts of the building that day so part of the tour, we were sweating quite a bit during parts of it because it was a hot day. The BBQ (lean brisket and sausage) was good but their sauce was a bit watery/bland. I believe the spirits were also made by the same people but I haven't seen that brand in other stores before. I had a paloma (they don't have grapefruit soda so it was just made with ruby red grapefruit juice and vodka with some soda water) and a spicy margarita. Both were good but tasted different than a typical vodka or tequila drink to me. The friends I went with have gone there several times and said the drinks/cocktails seemed watered down this time didn't taste the same as they usually do so we wondered if they had changed their spirits or the measurements. I guess I'll have to go back again some day and see if they've gone back to their usual drink recipes!

Open space with lots of seating and enough yard for kids to play and throw footballs (some kids don't realize their aim/catching skill level so beware if you're sitting close to the activity). We booked the distillery tour which was a fun and educational activity. You also get to sample the spirits and walk away with souvenir bag. There's a nice big bar area outside with snacks, you can also order food and more substantial snacks through the restaurant. There is also a nice gift shop with lots of goodies. Everything was yummy. Especially the pretzels. I didn't know I could love pretzels that much! Service was friendly. Definitely a nice way to spend the day off you want to get away.

There were plenty of drink options to choose from, and the menu definitely caught our attention, which is what brought us in. We started with the nachos with beef. They were pretty good overall, though the Velveeta-style cheese wasn't our favorite. The meat lovers pizza was a hit -- thin crust, well-cooked, and full of flavor. The main reason we came was for the chicken wings, and unfortunately, those were a bit disappointing and left us wanting more. However, the owner personally came over to apologize and explained that those were not the wings they normally serve. He even comped us $10 in cash, which was a very appreciated and classy gesture. The staff was friendly throughout our visit, and because of how the situation was handled, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and plan to come back again to let them redeem themselves.

It was a good burger, but not my favorite. The bun was a bit hard and the meat was a little tough. On a high note, they did pack it high, lots of bacon on it. The fries were excellent! Staff were nice. We'd come back.

The peanut butter beer was also good. The bartender was nice and explained the difference between a few beers. The outdoor rock band was shredding on the guitar. We didn't get to try the pizza on site, but wouldn't hesitate if we went back. It looked delish! There are two different bars you can visit. One has mores wines and the other has more beer.

I'd say within about 15 or 20 minutes. I think it's advertised as a 12 inch maybe, it's really only enough for one maybe two if you're a light eater, for a basic pepperoni it was about $20! They do have some type of pizza subscription, which I thought was pretty interesting if you really love their pizza and order from them often. There was live music in one of the bar areas and the guy at the bar was friendly and helpful! My biggest complaint was the lack of outdoor fans and the swarms of mosquitoes that seem to eat us alive from the moment that we sat down so we only stayed for one beer each. I had the orange creamsicle and hubby have the nitro chocolate Stout and he loved it and said it tasted much like a candy bar! Plenty of local brews on tap, and there is a different selection at each bar! Hopefully they be able to address that mosquito problem as we'd like to go back!

The winery is next door to the brewery so you can take food and drinks between the two. They had live music and it's quite a large, covered venue. Staff were extremely friendly and food was pretty good. They were having a dinner special of green chili meatloaf the first night we went, it looked and smelled delicious. They offer flights of 4 beers for $8, so we grabbed the opportunity to try all of their beers as well as one of the seltzer flavors they make. We choose the lemon/lime, but they also had a prickly pear and a watermelon seltzer available. Our favorite beers were the Dube Moon (a play on Blue Moon, served with a fresh orange slice and everything) as well as the Wolf Bock (very toasty and malty perfect for the colder months). There is a large food menu that is made in house. We ordered the Green Chili Cheeseburger that was delicious and evoked memories of happy backyard celebrations with the Green Chili Mac and Cheese side(I could eat a whole bucket of this!), and it comes with a pickle. We then headed over to the winery building which has lots of homemade items and food products to stuff your stockings for the holidays. We tried a create your own flight of 4 different wines and learned a lot about the area and how they make everything. The wines were more sweet and light than we usually drink, but I'm sure that appeals to more people. The drive out is very far, but there are a decent amount of signs along the way. It's a great wide space to bring your dog or kids. There are 2 very well behaved and friendly Australian Shepards of the owners that roam around. One sat with us for a while, so cute! There are a few large, clear tvs and that day they had a few football games playing that day with a reasonable volume. They have an amazing stage setup and live music every week. This would be a wonderful place to use for a large event. They have large, clean bathrooms and tons of parking. We'll definitely be back to try rotating beers and just purely because of the service and how welcome we were made to feel.
