I love that the Parking is right there And very easy to spot what I love the most is how there was disability parking easy to find and that the grassy Hill was not too difficult for my elderly relatives to walk up slowly with their walker, their cane and assisted with the wheelchair so it was good fun for everyone Multiple generations not too hot really good shade and something that could be enjoyed by the older crowd and little kids.

It's great for families who live in apartments or condos and don't have access to a backyard for the kids to play in. This one has a small play structure, some benches, and a small grassy area. Small is the theme here. But the park was clean and tidy which is the most important thing anyway. I came here solely to see the heart street sign recently unveiled by artist Scott Froschauer. He currently is showing an outdoor exhibit called " The Word on the Street". For this exhibit, he has created street signs with different words and directives, such as Relax, Meander, Breathe, and Infinite Clearance. These signs are located in 20 different parks in Glendale. How cool is that? You can get your outdoors on and enjoy some public art at the same time:) After a particularly harrowing week, I needed a little love, so I made it a mission to find Scott's heart-shaped One Way sign, which is located in the back corner of this tiny park. It did the trick; I walked away with a smile and I got to familiarize myself with the city of Glendale in a more intimate fashion. It's more than just the Americana, people!
