There are two restaurants with the same name, virtually alongside one another; one at #15 and one at #17. This is a review for #15, the one with the full cocktail bar.
Yeah, crepes! This restaurant has all the amenities of what makes Barcelona eating such a wonderful experience. It has atmosphere. It has muted lighting. An attentive staff... a wonderful location, and an accomplished bartender. But oh those crepes!
The menu (available in various languages) separates the crepes by savory (Galettes) or sweet (Crepes). They're large enough to share, so my wife and I enjoy getting one of each and, well, sharing. The crepes themselves are very thin, and the kitchen staff obviously is concerned with making a wonderful presentation. The flavors range from subtle (my fave is the mushroom, sweet ham and Emmental) to in-your-face (anything with roquefort).
Seating near the door can be a bit loud (pedestrian traffic) and muggy, but hey - Barcelona in the summertime is made for evenings out! read more
