I also had the raisin almond pastry the previous day, which was very good, but twice the size I needed. Love the low key atmosphere, and the French accents some of the staff have.

Their baking ingredients are sourced from France and the recipes are from her and her husband. And they're a local restaurant which I love supporting! We had the Petit Dejuener Deluxe breakfast which includes one pastry (either a croissant, chocolate croissant or bread pudding), a baguette (with either butter, homemade jam or honey), organic fresh eggs made to order or quiche slice, fresh squeezed orange juice and a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit and a black coffee or tea. It's a great option for those unable to decide on what to eat for breakfast. They have sandwiches, individual baked goods, à la carte items and hot and cold drink options as well. Coffee is strong n tasty Quiche is not dry at all Baguette and croissant are fresh baked Homemade jam Fresh squeezed OJ! Makes me happy! And for those in Austin...they opened a second location in Austin West lake area.

The croissant was everything a croissant should be--beautifully laminated, impossibly flaky, buttery, and so light that it melted away with each bite. But the true star for me was the lemon meringue tart. It was genuinely life-changing, striking the perfect balance between bright citrusy tartness and just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite was thoughtfully crafted. What really sets Saveurs 209 apart is the attention to detail. The pastry flavors feel intentional and refined, never overdone. Even the staff speaking French adds an extra layer of authenticity that adds to the experience. If you're craving delicious pastries, Saveurs 209 is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the display case.

A woman with her back to us was counting the till and other stuff. Never acknowledged us or looked up. My wife and I talked back and forth about what we wanted...no acknowledgement from the lady.... I then saw a sign that said no crepes after 2. Being 6 minutes after 2 at that point, I finally said, excuse me, can we still order crepes? Looking up at the clock and then back down said no. They close at 3, but really 2....
