Super cute area and dining space and the menu is so fun to look at! They have plenty of options to choose from: sweet or savory crepes, dessert crepes, omelettes, pastas, and more. It was hard making a decision, but I decided to go with the el paso crepe, santa fe crepe, and a waffle. The el paso crepe was good, paired with corned beef, eggs, and potatoes. It was probably the best item I tried here. Savory and not too much overpowering flavors. The santa fe crepe was also good, but the egg overpowered the chicken sausage that it came with. There was a lot going on and didn't feel well executed. The waffle wasn't anything like I expected it to be. It was extremely crumbly, making it hard to enjoy and even pick up with a fork. It somewhat had the texture of a very old and dry cake. I wouldn't recommend it and should've probably tried a sweet dessert crepe instead. The service is okay, they can seat a lot of people inside and outside, so they're busy and sometimes forget about what you need/asked them. Overall, I had a decent time. Maybe I'll stop by for dinner!

I come to the Berkeley Crepevine a couple times a year and they always make sure that you're full by the end of the meal. Whether it's their burgers, sandwiches, or pasta, your portion sizes will always be really good and more than enough, sometimes even with leftovers. I ordered the Alfredo pasta and unfortunately, you have to pay to add meat such as chicken or shrimp for all of their pasta dishes, which made it come out to an upwards of $25. Overall, I'm definitely enjoy myself everytime I come here and I would give it a solid 3.4 stars, consistent but nothing too special.

The restaurant is in a great location, clean and has all the vibes. Love they also have outdoor seating. The menu offers many choices and they have specials. The service is meh. Not friendly or helpful. Kinda felt rushed a bit as you order at the cash register and not the table. Yet there was not a line so... why? The food was ok. We have been twice now and felt the same each time. We ordered two specials. The squash soup, served medium warm, and the shakshuka. My husband said the shakshuka was way too sour and the tomatoes were not fresh. I also ordered a chai latte, extra hot, which also came out medium warm. Perhaps we just order the wrong things Squash soup $6.95 ( great portion, but came spilled) Shakshuka $17.95

The potatoes were delicious; I loved them. I expected much more from the fish tacos. The salad was fresh.

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, especially on a bright sunny morning. It definitely brings good energy and great vibes for brunch. The service was quick and easy; you order your food first and then choose a seat. They specialize, of course, in a variety of crepes. This is my first time having crepes that are non-dessert. I ordered the Florentine, which is a vegetarian option consisting of spinach, mushroom, onions and cheese. It was a bit underwhelming and lacked flavor. It's a lot better if this was an omelette. They have plenty of other savory crepes, so I recommend trying the others. For the sweet crepes, I ordered the sunset crepe and it was pretty decent - nothing too special. It has the flavors of what you'd expect from a crepe-nutella-fruit combination. I love the addition of the ice cream.

They did a good job on the over medium eggs, and I appreciate the big slab of ham!

I often come back to Crepevine because they're friendly and competent, and the food is fairly priced.

I'm honestly a little saddened by the rating! I had such a pleasant experience. The waiters were attentive and sweet, the portion sizes for the crepes were huge, and the purple stack was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The outside seating is so cute as well! Definitely would recommend.

the vibes of this place are super super cutesy! you first stand in line, place your order, and then bring a table number to whatever table you pick! usually places like this have everything self serve, but i like how the staff constantly comes around and checks on you! i ended up ordering the new orleans benedict and sharing one of the fall specials, the banana biscoff crepe. the benedict was sooo yummy and the crab cake honestly tasted fresh! i do wish the sauce was a little spicier, but other than that it was great! the crepe was the perfectttt dessert to end it! parts of it were a little crunchy, but the sauce helped make it a little softer. the only negative i have from my experience today was the coffee. both my friend and i ordered one of their special coffees and a iced honey latte. we literally only took one sip and could not finish the rest of it. i don't know what we drank, but it definitely was not good coffee, BUT thankfully we had a pitcher of the guava cooler which was super fruity and refreshing!

delicious!! We went here when Eggy's down the street was wayyyy too busy. we got the dulce de leche coffee, San Francisco crepe (smoked salmon crepe) and the Tuscany crepe (chicken, tomato, pesto) and the fresh orange juice. they even gave us little muffins to snack on while we waited :') really delicious, definitely give it a try

Kids Mini Pancakes (they were eaten much more by the time we left)

I love this location. Ordered the Tuscany savory crepe since I can't eat chicken eggs. My spouse surprised me by also getting a savory option, the Philly (we're from Philly lol). My kiddo who is VERY PICKY is enjoying the mini pancakes which they shaped into a mouse and skipped the powdered sugar (he won't eat pancakes with toppings and they also put the butter in a side dish). I wanted to sit outside and the first table was right in the sun, not acceptable for my pale partner. They were very amenable and offered us shaded options right away. The service was amazing today. They even gave us mini complimentary blueberry muffins which were SO GOOD? Couldn't get a photo of our food since my spouse scarfed his down and I had to juggle 6 year old demands while trying to eat my still warm food. Happy to say it was a super pleasant experience (and I did get to relax and eat in peace once they started reading together).

The chicken and waffles is a classic. I always order it when I come. Chicken was thick and juicy. We had been to Tarocco for lunch and figured we would ask them for a quote, too. My daughter warned me that the owner is trying to be an "influencer" on Instagram and posts photos of herself in crop Tops so I should beware, but that's fine by me. We called to get a quote and had a discussion. After we gave the owner all of our information, she told us she wouldn't give us a quote unless we came in person (?!) Which is weird because this isn't how restaurants work. Typically for events restaurants will give you a quote via phone or email for the sake of convenience. We had gotten 3 quotes already from other restaurants via phone. Making us drive 45 mins just to get a quote is a total waste of time. Especially if we can't afford it. So my daughter called again, left a VM explaining we couldn't come in person due to time constraints, and again asked for a quote. No reply. We waited a few days and called again. No reply. Finally we got a voicemail from the owner saying that she didn't like my daughter's attitude ?!!! Apparently you're not allowed to ask this restaurant how much they charge for events unless you're face to face. This lady has absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant. We took our business elsewhere and recommend that you do, too.

The workers and the owner were all very kind and welcoming. I got there a little after they opened in the morning. As for the food, I ordered the kimchi fried rice along with the chicken and croffle. The fried chicken tasted a bit interesting. I'm not sure if the frying temperature was off or if it had something to do with the condition of the oil, but the texture of the breading wasn't quite right. I used to work at a fried chicken shop in Korea, so it was a texture I recognized--the coating was fully cooked and wasn't necessarily soggy, but there was no real crunch. Instead of being crispy, the breading was soft and kind of gave way when you bit into it. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue eating it. I'd give the chicken a 2/5. As for the kimchi fried rice, I liked the addition of cilantro and beets, which gave it a refreshing touch. My only issue was that the kimchi itself was way too sour for kimchi fried rice. I don't mind fermented or sour kimchi, but in this case, the sourness overpowered the rest of the dish. Overall, the cafe itself is cute and the people working there were genuinely very kind. I just wish the food had been a little better, especially the fried chicken. Will be back next time to try out the coffee!! It is a cafe after all.

The food always looked really good, but for whatever reason I always ended up ordering from somewhere else. Well, I finally did it. I finally ordered from Cali Alley, and all I have to say is, why did I wait so darn long? Door Dash was having a 2-for-1 deal on the Cali Alley Burger, so I ordered one of those (and got another for free) , as well as on the small mac and cheese, so I ended up with two of those as well. I got fries as he side for the burgers and saved the second burger and mac and cheese for the next day. I also bought a small side of veggie fried rice for lunch later in the week. OK, let's start with the fries ... wow. Super crispy. Don't know what they do to them, but I think I almost ate all the fries that came with one of the burgers before I even touched the burger. The fries seemed to have a coating like some fries do to make them extra crispy on the outside. Whatever it was, it made them so good, I couldn't stop eating them. I was almost too full for the burger. But who are we kidding? If there is one thing I am good at, it is eating more than I should. The burger, which is described on Door Dash as "char grilled, fresh ground brisket and short rib burger, served on a toasted brioche fun with crisp lettuce, tomato onion marmalade and garlic aioli" was thick and incredibly flavorful. I couldn't stop eating that, either. It was that good. I ordered it medium, and it was pretty pink, but it was sooooooo flavorful, and all the toppings worked well together. I didn't get any cheese on it because I wanted to try to burger by itself and not mask it with cheese. I might try adding cheese next time, but honestly the burger is so good, I almost wouldn't want to cover up its flavor with cheese. Oh, I almost forgot. When you order on Door Dash, you can opt to have them include a small side of their chocolate-chipotle bbq sauce, and I highly recommend that you get it. It's a really interesting flavor and is good for dipping the fries in. I didn't try putting it on the burger, but that might be good, too. The mac and cheese was OK. It's important to note that I enjoyed the flavor but it is more of an eggy consistency than a saucy mac and cheese if that makes sense. It has a nice kick of black pepper, which I liked, though. The vegetarian fried rice was also fine but could have used a little salt. All that to say, don't be like me and procrastinate, get the Cali Alley Burger and fries ASAP.
