What an incredible place! The most loaded Japanese style crepes I've had Great smoothies Really warm and friendly staff While it's small, if you can get one of the outside tables, east 7th is a lovely peaceful east village street

This place is wonderful My daughter was in the mood for crepes and this place had the best reviews in the city , 5 stars and I see why . Highlights: - gluten free * but still tastes great - friendly kind owner - Japanese touches like yuzu sodas , matcha creams , sesame ice cream - adorable tiny store - incredibly fresh fruit

    Matcha Anmitsu

LOVED my Matcha Anmitsu Crepe!! It was beautiful and delicious! The flavors seemed to change and even get better as I ate toward the bottom so I ate the entire thing even though it was very filling and I was fully satiated halfway down. (I passed on 2 of the 3 mochi balls in order to make room.) My non-celiac family loved their chicken and pesto and matcha chocolate crepes. Next time I might try the Fuji Apple although it will be very hard not to order the Matcha Anmitsu again! Such a gem! We will definitely add this to our list of regulars for our frequent visits to Manhattan. A celiac treasure!!! Thank you for being entirely gluten-free and giving us such a beautiful, safe experience!

So delicious to have a gluten free treat option. They also have savory crepes which I will try next time.

Service was excellent! It's so hard to find full gluten free menus and here ya go! They have a lot of options for sweet and savory. Coffee was good too. They even have gluten free Oreos for their Oreo crepe! Never have I ever seen that until now, yummmmmm

Super cute small storefront. The clerk worked so hard for all, and she was by herself! Had the tuna melt crepe-consisted of tuna, grape tomatoes, oil/vinegar, arugula and cheddar cheese. The crepe was a super light version of a regular tuna melt. Very tasty. Selection of savory items was less than the sweet. Either is great, and customers all seemed happy! If you are looking for gluten free in NYC for lunch, this is the perfect stop! There are a gluten free facility which is super important to those looking for that option!

I wish I could give a 6 star rating. First the owner was genuinely one of the best owners I have ever met, so kind and welcoming and just very friendly. Then the creps were just so good. Genuinely best ive ever had. So many different types plus make your own. The music was also super good and had me vibing the entire time. Highly highly recommend

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! 10/10 would recommend. I got the organic egg and cheese and my friend got the Nutella strawberry with whipped yogurt. Both had the perfect amount of filling. The crepes are light and fluffy. All the ingredients were fresh. The server was super sweet. I miss it already and wished I lived in NYC so I could go here more often.

we stumbled upon this cute, cozy little creperie after a hearty lunch, and we had to go in! the staff encouraged us to try the matcha crepes since we are big matcha lovers. and man, was it heavenly !!! it was perfectly not so sweet, and light while still satisfying our sweet teeth :) the matcha ice cream on the side was the cherry on top, balancing the carb-based dessert with a refreshing spoonful of yummy goodness. i can't wait to come back and try the nutella strawberry banana one next.

What an excellent find on the lower east side…read more Mrs. E. is a sweet crepe aficionado. If it's not honey and butter she would've ordered the apple, caramel and walnut crepe. She reports an excellent experience! I tried the more savory Smoked Turkey with shrooms and Swiss Cheese. As big as they are, it was so good I was still thinking of getting seconds. They also have vegetarian, fruit and chocolate crepes. They are open until 2am. Not that we'd ever need it, it's nice to know. We stopped at a good time mid-morning, not too long a line and it moved pretty fast. The place is a bit small but there's seating outside. If there wasn't so much NYC to see, we would definitely be back. 10/24

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

Not to mention, two crepes made for (surprisingly) a lot of food. I ordered the Crispy Shrimp Tempura and the Spicy Crabmeat, plus a Thai iced tea and a dark chocolate milkshake. The biggest difference from traditional French crepes is the shell, as it was slightly crisp on the outside but soft and chewy inside, thanks to the rice flour. It holds savory fillings well without getting soggy. - For the shrimp crepe, the tempura kept its crunch, and the sauces added sweetness and heat without overpowering everything else. - The Spicy Crabmeat leaned richer and creamier with a mild kick. - Both were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. - The Thai iced tea was classic and sweet, and the dark chocolate milkshake was thick and indulgent. Service was quick and efficient -- you order at the counter, and the crepes come out neatly wrapped and easy to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful when answering menu questions. Ambiance is casual and compact, very St Mark's energy. Limited seating, mostly quick-bite style, and good for grabbing something while walking around the neighborhood rather than lingering. However, I was among the lucky few who did get a table, so I enjoyed everything there. I'd definitely come back again to try their other crepes.

I struggle to enjoy the food, which is kind of bizarre. Their gelato tastes like it is held together with a non-dairy thickener like guar gum. Their $22 rotisserie chicken is no where's as tasty and tender as the $10 rotisserie chicken at Whole Foods. Their pizza slices are creatively and beautifully crafted, but the vast majority have only a very slight coating of tomato sauce which you cannot taste, and little to no mozzarella. I don't enjoy their $10+ slices nearly as much as the $4 slice down the street. Everything that I order there looks better than it tastes. To be fair though, I have not had a sit-down meal there in a long time. Several years ago I did order a roast beef sandwich at their carving station, and it was nearly 50% hard white fat. WTF. I feel like I just can't win when I try their food. But I LOVE going there so I keep trying. When all is said and done, I love the place. Sometimes they have music and/or tastings, which are fun. So more recently, I just buy a yogurt or cappuccino and enjoy the space.

The "beef" came as cubes of a pea protein based vegan meat in a fantastic, richly spiced red wine sauce with fingerling potatoes and carrots, while the Mr Seguin galette was an excellent buckwheat crepe with pea protein chicken, walnuts, agave syrup, "goat cheese", and a coconut based emmenthaler.
