Was pretty sure I'd reviewed this place but, as I was in the area I popped in to what used to be a regular haunt when I lived nearby.
A family run, very popular, place, Crema has a great range of food. From paninis (heaven is full of their chicken pesto paninis) to homemade bakes and cakes, hearty soups and a nice line of caffeine based beverages, I spent many a Saturday/Sunday morning brunching here.
There are more seats upstairs, and whilst the decor is pretty bog standard, check out the amazing photographs on the walls, amazing portraits in black and white.
Price wise it is about average, although the temptation of cake always meant our bill was a little high for a brunch but hey, what's life about if not treating yourself?!!
I'd recommend Crema if you are in Hamilton town centre (or even down at the Asda, it's not much of a walk) for any reason. Good food, friendly helpful staff, for a good price. If you are lucky you can chat to the owner(s) and see just how passionate they are about sourcing local produce as well, an excellent sign! read more
