A family run, very popular, place, Crema has a great range of food. From paninis (heaven is full of their chicken pesto paninis) to homemade bakes and cakes, hearty soups and a nice line of caffeine based beverages, I spent many a Saturday/Sunday morning brunching here. There are more seats upstairs, and whilst the decor is pretty bog standard, check out the amazing photographs on the walls, amazing portraits in black and white. Price wise it is about average, although the temptation of cake always meant our bill was a little high for a brunch but hey, what's life about if not treating yourself?!! I'd recommend Crema if you are in Hamilton town centre (or even down at the Asda, it's not much of a walk) for any reason. Good food, friendly helpful staff, for a good price. If you are lucky you can chat to the owner(s) and see just how passionate they are about sourcing local produce as well, an excellent sign!

Staff are usually too busy to do much more than take orders, prep food and take money. Unfortunately the only table we could get was right next to the door, meaning we got a horrible draft every time someone came in or went out, brrr. The menu in there is a bit limited, as it is just a cafe, but they do have a licence, so beers, wines and ales are all available too. Colin and I ordered the Parma ham bruschetta sharing platter to start, then I had the chicken and bacon club panini and Colin had a chicken and chorizo stew. The food came very fast, which was great, and was lovely! I wasn't a big fan of the bruschetta, it was awfully dry as no olive oil was used, and it wasn't seasoned either, so it was a bit bland. The panini was lovely, and I had a wee bit of Colin's stew which was glorious! We ordered a couple of their berry frappes which came in huge American diner-style milkshake glasses and were delicious! I think I would rather go here on a slightly quieter afternoon so I could sit up next to the huge fireplace, but I did enjoy it and will be popping in from time to time!

It's a great little place, would sit happily in somewhere... I dunno... less Hamilton-y than Hamilton? I'm rambling. The coffee is really good - my latte is always just the right side of warm, but not to hot; the hot chocolate is incredible (a cup of hot milk with CHOCOLATE ON A STICK to mix to your own taste) and even my non milk drinking better half was satisfied with a soy milk cappuccino. I even dabbled with the apple pie and cream in the past - and it was also very good. I do believe the food may be a bit high priced, but when it's that good, it is worth it, trust me. They have a selection of toys for me... erm... the kids to play with, comfy seats, nice but not overdone decor, the staff are helpful and pleasant. It's a good place. You'll like it.

It's a duo store operating as a small cafe and bike shop - and it's a great idea. The feeling is of the cafe is quite chic in a dainty way. The staff were really helpful with the wifi code and served food and coffee quickly. Mum and I ordered bacon butties which came on brioche rolls - yum! My brother, ordered a cheese toastie. We all had flat whites which got slurped down rather quickly and came it neat little old china cups! More bacon, yes I love bacon! I just like a well-packed bacon sarnie or roll but that's me. If I were in the area again, I would defo seek this little cafe again as it seemed to be the little hub of activity and not surprisingly popular with a few cyclists!

It does the usual lunchy stuff; sandwiches, toasties, soups, baked potatoes and light dinners like macaroni cheese and fish and chips, perfect for a nice home cooked filler when out and about, and a great alternative to a greasy McDonald's or the likes. Coffee is up to the usual Costa standard and overall this is a good place to relax especially if you're travelling. Prices are typical for roadside services but still not overly expensive and the coffee is worth every penny. Staff are friendly, polite and efficient and there are a good number of tables and comfortable chairs to sit in. Overall a pleasant experience.

Costa in the Regent Shopping Centre is a great wee place just to sit and chill and watch Hamilton…read morego by. It's located right on the bend where the shopping centre turns to the right heading out the back door towards Primark. It's got a relative amount of seats both inside the actual store, and outside in a seating area. No toilets, but there are shopping centre toilets located just across from it. Nothing much else to say about it, as pretty much all Costas are the same! Staff are friendly and attentive, and drinks are always made correctly to your order!

It's not somewhere you would gravitate towards if you were out shopping and fancied a cuppa, but I can honestly say it is really decent, friendly and cheaply priced, essential ingredients for a mid-shopping brew stop. I have been a good few times, many times with young kids who wanted to play the arcade games, and it is a welcome seat away from the flashing and constant irritating beeping and buzzing of the arcade machines! Any one who has ever had a Morton's roll will vouch for how fantastic they are, a real Scottish gem, and this wee cafe sells them with fillings for no more than £2 each! You can have hot breakfast fillings or cold meats and cheese. I had a cheese and ham toastie which was delicious, and only cost just over £2 as well! The coffee is real and not just Nescafe in a polystyrene cup, I had a lovely latte, which was only £1.70, pretty good considering a Costa or a Starbucks will set you back £3 or more! Fantastic!
