I feel conflicted writing this review because I want it to stay quiet here so I can use this as my go-to study spot, but I'd rather have it do well and stay around, so I can visit at all. It's the only place that has an outlet next to EVERY TABLE. I almost cried tears of joy that I didn't have to do the creepy walk around the whole place looking for an outlet (which I do all too often). That being said I love this location because it's right next to Bookman's. As a previous reviewer suggested, there is now a partnership between Crema Coffee and Bookmans. I believe if you show Bookman's your digital receipt from Crema, you get 10% of your purchase. Can't beat a good book & good cup of coffee to enjoy it. I like that their menu is simple and there's a description of ratios between, for example, espresso & milk. It's also nice to see that they have a different type of espresso and iced tea daily. I had the cold brew, which I really liked. It was nice and strong. I liked that the owner (I think) forewarned me about the strength because a lot of other places tend to use a subtler, milder coffee for their cold brew. I also appreciate the fact that the owner checked on me to make sure I enjoyed my selection and because it really shows me that he cares about what he's producing. For me, good service goes a long way. Additionally, I think the prices are very reasonable, especially as compared to other places I've been to around town. The only thing I was disappointed with was the pastry selection. There were only donuts when I came in today. Nothing wrong with this, but based on the pictures on Yelp, I thought I saw a scone, so I was excited about that prospect. Crema Coffee also offers nice oatmeal selections and some good snacks (fruit snacks, etc) that I think is a nice offering, especially if you have kids joining you here. Speaking of which, there are a couple of board games and some books here for entertainment with your drinks. TLDR; good local coffee shop. Worth the stop for good coffee at a good price. read more

Finally, a terrific, independent shop on the Marana (Oro Valley) side of town. We've been stuck with the local chains (Starbucks, Dunkin'). The other local spots have not been worthy! Creama is a new hidden gem! Dropped in for a Mocha (for my son)! Well, it was amazing! Rich, creamy, flavorful (not watery like so many places). Plus, cool foam art! Way to go Aaron (the owner)! They also had some teas (hot+iced). Would be nice to see hot chai as well as a good hot chocolate. Pastry case looked scrummy (scones and only 1 type of cookie). Hopefully you guys expand the pastry case and add some muffins and other possible danish or savory treats! The owner I met was so kind and so pleasant to speak with. A great and cozy little "Mom and Pop" coffee shop, that while not perfect definitely wins all five stars simply for their strong service and effort, even staying open bravely, allowing indoor seating in the midst of lockdowns and Wuhan virus hysteria, and not enforcing or caving into the real pandemic of authoritarianism and totalitarianism that has all too sadly swept through the state and nation. So good on them! I do hope that they'll continue to expand their offerings over time and will find some extra help staff in addition to themselves so that they can keep the store open all week and on days where they need a vacation or just a plain rest. read more

After hearing lots of great reviews, I decided to try it out first hand. Waked in and thought it must be a different place in time. No masks required. Went and read a sign saying they don't enforce wearing a mask for health reasons. Even the employees. I'm a healthcare worker, don't need coffee this bad. read more

One thing that the North West side of Tucson is not known for is having a lot of great locally owned and operated coffee shops. Hopefully Crema will change that. It is set up in a little shopping mall area next to Bookmans, making a great destination to break in your new (or gently used) books. It just opened on April 4th, 2019, and as of today (June 27, 2019) it has a limited menu. There are not many food options, but they have been selling locally made bakery products here. It's a good space. The decor is very hip and modern, and it's a very comfortable hangout spot. The wifi is great, and very fast. I like their selection of iced teas. They had a citrus hibiscus tea available during my visit, and I got a nice large glass of it for just under $3.50, which is a standard price for a local shop. I definitely plan on coming back. I highly suggest you take a gander as well. read more

Hidden away in a strip mall off of Ina & Meredith is a very cool little local coffee shop...Only 2 weeks old we decided to give it a try...We were greeted right away with a hello and a friendly smile as we headed to the counter to place our order..The menu was very basic and not overwhelming at all..This could change in the future as they add more to the menu but for now it was a refreshing change from other coffee joints..I'm not a fancy coffee drinker so I ordered a plain latte and my wife ordered an iced mocha..Each drink was prepared with an intensity and precision that I have not seen in most coffee shops..I was truly impressed with the barista's artistry and both of our drinks were very good..Can't wait to see what the future holds for the awesome coffee shop! read more

Went here for the first time today and it was amazing! I am a Starbucks lover, but this is just unreal coffee. I had the iced vanilla latte and it was so delicious, smooth and not too sweet. I had a very sad experience at Crema. We ordered two coffee drinks--hot. The counter help filled at least 4 or 5 other orders (who came in after us) before he made our drinks. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes to get a latte and a chai. He must have made my latte before he made all the other drinks because it was lukewarm when he finally served it to us. I tried Crema when it first opened and had a similar experience. I won't go back. Sorry for the bad review, but rule #1 about serving hot espresso drinks is to serve them HOT! read more

I was just in Crema for the first time I typically have Starbucks coffee for years and thought I'd give them a try. I was not impressed the gentleman working there took my Latte order was no line behind me. After I gave my order people started coming in just "one at a time" in the cafe shop and he waited on them before even starting my drink. There was like three to four more people he waited on before even thinking about starting my drink. I did not think this was right Starbucks, doesn't even do this! if they have even one or two drinks to make, they tell the person that's coming in the door they'll be right with them shortly they make our drinks first. I asked the gentleman behind the counter when he was going to start my drink and he said after he helped the other person whom was just coming through the door. So I just walked out I didn't even get my money back so they have my money for my latte that I didnt get. I would suggest not going to this place unless they change the way they serve people. read more

I've visited this place about 3 times and ordered 4 different things. Black coffee, americano, cortado, and cappuccino. All of these were very enjoyable and prepared well. The menu is simple, but the owner will make just about anything you can think of. I studied in here two of the times I visited and the free internet worked without issue. If I were just reviewing the drinks and service it would be 5 stars. The store needs to improve the interior comfort and ambiance to really take the shop to the next level. Currently generic tables and chairs that remind of something you would find in a church hall are the only seating options. The style around the counter is nice and I think if they take steps to extend that style to the rest of the store, along with improved lighting and seating options, this could be a great coffee shop. read more

Holy delicious! I'm so happy there is an awesome new locally owned coffee shop on the NW side. I can't have milk so I got an iced oat milk vanilla latte- and it was SO GOOD! Crema is such an awesome FAMILY FRIENDLY coffee shop!! Yay!!! My friend and I stopped in this morning with our little guys in tote. High chairs & children's books were aplenty. The guys behind the bar were super friendly and encouraged me to stop cleaning the floors from my toddler's mess. It's a mom habit, but they insisted they would take care of it. I had the banana bread and chai tea latte. The banana bread was very moist and flavorful. I definitely recommend fo you to try it. The chai tea was delicious. They give you an option of having it made extra creamy or spicy. I chose creamy because I don't like much spice in my chai.
