He walked me out to my vehicle to show me that (huzzah!) my tires were only half-worn and didn't need replacing yet. (Had I strolled into another local tire place, I probably would have gotten the old, "Oh wow. You've been driving on these for how long? They must be changed immediately!"-routine.) But not Russ and his crew. The one suggestion the owner made was a tire rotation, which I took him up on. Service was speedy and the staff was very customer-friendly. As someone who isn't a car expert, I assumed an alignment would be included--or at the very least, that someone would mention it when I was making such a big purchase. But I wasn't even asked. When I went back and explained what happened, hoping they'd help or offer some kind of discount on replacement tires, they basically shrugged and told me it was my fault for not getting an alignment. No help. No ownership. No offer to make it right. Just, "you should've gotten an alignment." If this is how they treat their customers, I'll gladly take my business elsewhere next time--and I'd recommend you do the same.

I always go to jiffy lube for oil changes. I am not a car guy though. Jiffy lube is the super cuts…read moreof oil change. You know what you're getting. They have all their service in a company wide data base as well so typically they run your plates in their tablet and they know what they did the last time. They use that to upsell you as well but generally routine maintenance. I figure some day I'll learn to change my own oil and I'll never come back and will not miss jiffy lube but I generally don't feel ripped off here. Generally the wait is pretty short too, but they don't do appointments. You know... jiffy lube.
