This place looks deceptively small from the outside and also when you first walk in - there's the long bar area. But there's a whole another side room with a really cool chandelier and tables - this pic is on the website. Plus there's a whole fenced-in patio in the back which also has quite a few tables and also a corn hole game setup. Has some greenery plants and lights. Nice for entertaining - and that is where the party was. It can easily fit about 20-30 people. We had cake for the birthday and people ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. Looks like a neighborhood bar where people know each other. They have some bar food like pretzel, hot dog - the hot dog was only $3 which is unbelievable! Anyway we all had a great time- played some corn-hole too!

I don't know what I was expecting, but this exceeded my expectations in every way! Really comfortable vibe here; plenty of dance room; great lighting and the stained glass just adds to the atmosphere. There is a cool bar in the back right of the venue and the bartenders are quick and chill. The sound was very good and it was a great night!!! I would not hesitate to return here for the right show!

The bathroom situation is a little fraught but other than that it's such a cool space and such a fun bar. And we interacted with neighboring tables on both sides to recommend (when asked) the oysters, and when one received a drink with a big smoke bubble that created a magical flow of smoke when it burst. French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

We arrived just after our friends who advised they had already ordered their drinks. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink order and then vanished. No drinks for quite some time. A manager came over to ask if anybody had visited us, apologized for the delay, and returned with our drinks. I'm estimating it was a bit over 30 minutes or so before drinks arrived. Our waitress did return, apologized and took our food order. I wasn't so sure about ordering sushi, but glad we did. The maki we tried were very good, fresh and beautifully presented. A great start. We switched gears for our entree and went with a parpadelle bolognese. A nice generous portion that was as good as some of the Italian spots in the area. Our friends also enjoyed their dishes. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. I would easily have given 4 stars, but the service needs improvement. You would need to plan to spend at least a couple of hours for a lunch. In our case it was not a big deal as we were enjoying time with friends, but I can understand the other negative reviews now. We do plan to return to work our way deeper into the menu, and hope they will have more staff to help with the front of the house.

Always wanted to go to a kava bar, but the east coast never really had this. Last night the stars aligned. We came in not knowing what to expect. We were warmly greeted by Olivia (kava-tender), who explained the menu and brought us a small shell of kava to try. The Polynesian mule is mind-blowingly good. It was so good, we did 2 rounds of this. Definitely will be back to try more drinks. The live music was also amazing. Very talented musician-- played a lot of Grateful Dead, and even Alice's Restaurant. The vibe is very chill, while also warm and welcoming. For context: I am a non-drinker of alcohol, and despise bars/being around loud drunk people. This is a totally different experience, in the very best ways.
