Chris Moore was highly knowledgeable, efficient, and does things the right way. We've dealt with THREE different animal control companies in the Jackson/Chelsea/Ann Arbor area for bats and groundhogs, and Creature Control is by far the best one. Most recently, we initially hired one of the other companies to take care of our groundhog den under the deck, they came out and set two traps randomly and a fair distance from the deck, which they said is how they do it. Didn't make sense to us, because the area has lots of wildlife walking around. The next morning they said they caught a raccoon and a groundhog, reset the traps for a few more days, and then called it a finished job. They did not offer to seal up the deck or discuss any further options. It was obvious to us that the animals they caught were just roaming the grounds, not what was under our deck. It was ridiculous and expensive. So next we called Creature Control, and it was like night and day. Chris promptly came out, sealed up any possible entry-points and set a proper exclusion trap (buried and camouflaged) at the last and only entry-point. Within an hour, the trap had a groundhog in it that clearly came from under the deck. He collected the animal, reset the trap and there were no further animals for a few days. He finally collected the trap and sealed up the last entry-point, which now fixes the problem FOR GOOD. The price for all that was totally reasonable and less expensive than the first company. I will only work with Creature Control from here on out. They actually fix the problem rather than stringing you along. read more

Great experience all around. I've had few different techs out for different issues as I live out in the country with the wildlife. Chris handled the raccoon in the attic, was knowledgeable and informative. The raccoon was humanely trapped and relocated. Next was dealing with mice and insects, and Andrew did a great job communicating his visits as this is an ongoing treatment and is very thorough and conscientious. He is knowledgeable about the products used and how they work. I had Shawn come out to treat for carpenter bees and he also did a great job. The techs seem very knowledgeable, and invested in the company. They take the time to educate the customer as well. My creature encounters are now much much less than they were, I am very happy with the service. read more

I am highly allergic to stinging insects, specifically bees and wasps. I have used four different companies over the years and Creature Control is the only company I haven't had to call back to re-apply. Additionally, we have called Creature Control to deal with a mouse issue in our crawl space, as well as, ants in our garage and kitchen. I do always request Shawn Anderson so I can't speak for any other tech. Shawn is outstanding. He is professional, courteous and always well dressed. He is very nice and extremely good at what he does. Everything we have ever called for, Shawn has taken care of thoroughly. I've been using Creature Control for a couple of years now due to a very old house and a very persistent mouse populations. These folks do not give up. They tried everything, looked everywhere, calked up openings outside and returned when something didn't work. Everyone on the staff are polite, careful, and friendly. These guys do a great job. Mike is our technician and keeps our house in the woods regularly clear from pests. Recently we had a squirrel take up residence in our gazebo and produce a litter of babies. Mike spent a couple days out here working to safely capture all of the babies and the momma so they could be humanely released back into the woodlands as a proper critter family. John Vrielink did a great job for us. He quickly assessed the situation of birds in our chimney. He made a cage around our opening and spray painted it black so it would blend in. He removed the birds nest, debris and sprayed and sanitized the area. He also took care of a couple of issues from the last time they were out.
