Unfortunately, after their work, the leak was still there. He said there was nothing more that they could do. Since the leak was small, we decided to address this in the future. Fast forward one year later, we now have a second leak in the same area. I called 4 roofing contractors to address these 2 smaller leaks. Two never bothered to return my call. One did not show for the appointment, which did not matter because we had already met with Doug Nickerson and decided we would use them. Doug returned my call and made an appointment to look at our situation. Doug called on the day of our appointment to let me know he was running early, was that OK? Hell yes! After inspecting our roof, he was confident where and how the leak was occurring, and that they would have no problem remedying the problem. As far as scheduling, since it was such a smaller job, he said they would fit it in somewhere between jobs. Could be a week, a month, whatever. Well, two days later, I get a call from Doug saying they could get there that morning! Their guys show up, go to work on the leaks as well as give our metal roof a total screw down. They are done and gone by 1:00 pm. Two years later . . . No leaks and performing well. I have the company who will be doing any roofing work I need from now on. Very pleasant, great communicator and fantastic work. Plus an SF Giants fan for a bonus. I STRONGLY recommend them for any roofing work you have.

As a homeowner, I value professionalism, accountability, and quality workmanship when hiring a contractor. Unfortunately, my experience with Rock Tops fell far short of expectations. Although their pricing was competitive and the countertops themselves turned out beautiful, nearly every part of the service experience was frustrating and disappointing. Here are the main issues I encountered: Lack of professionalism and accountability: Communication with the owner was extremely poor. When concerns were brought up, instead of addressing them professionally, the company became dismissive and unresponsive. Poor cleanup: The installation team didn't clean up after themselves. It wasn't my biggest concern, but worth noting if you expect basic jobsite respect. Unfinished work: Rock Tops does not caulk the counters along the walls after installation, leaving visible gaps and an unpolished look -- something you'll likely have to fix on your own. Plumbing problems -- hire your own plumber! Rock Tops uses a private subcontractor for plumbing, and this turned into a nightmare. My new single-basin sink began leaking shortly after install due to a too-short P-trap that repeatedly came loose. Rock Tops refused to give me the plumber's contact information, claiming it was "private." After multiple requests and water damage to my cabinet, I was told they had "gone above and beyond" and would not be returning. Completely unacceptable. Isolated incidents: Within days of installation, the master bathroom mirror fell completely off the wall -- shattering across the room. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the incident could have been dangerous. This happened because the granite backsplash was wedged under the mirror, breaking the adhesive bond. Initially, Rock Tops seemed willing to share the replacement cost, but they later backtracked on that agreement and offered an alternative product I didn't want. After multiple back-and-forths, I eventually settled for a cheaper option just to move on. In summary: Rock Tops may offer fast and affordable countertops, but their poor service, lack of accountability, and unsafe workmanship completely overshadow any positives. Once they're paid, you're on your own. I had planned to use this company again for two rental properties, but after being ignored and dismissed, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you choose to hire Rock Tops, proceed with caution -- and definitely hire your own licensed plumber.

But good customer service would have been to call and say they were running late. He looks at the work to be done and says he will have the quote to me the next day, Saturday and could do the work the following week. Saturday comes and goes. No quote. I call that Monday and the lady at the office takes my email again and says it will be over in the next day or two. I don't get it for a week later. And it was incorrect based on our conversation. I emailed back with the corrections that took 3 more days to receive an updated estimate. I have called the office serval times in the last week looking for a start date. They never answer their phones and they do not call back. Don't waste your time with this company, they will just string you along.
