However, the Estate Sales happened mid May, 2025 and it is now Christmas, 2025 we have received no proceeds owed per the signed contract. My fiancé and I had to pack up AND clean our entire 4 bed/ 2.5 bath before we moved across the country. Chris and his team were so amazing to pack and load our things into a trailer then offer their cleaning services for us. Such a time saver and major stress relief. Beware, much like one of the other reviewers posted Chris comes off as a nice person and the work was performed well, BUT he hasn't paid me anything for the sale after months of waiting. His phone messages are full so you can't leave a VM and now he's not even apologizing by text or email anymore. Now I have to get my lawyer involved, so frustrating after having my step father die and Chris sell his stuff and keep the money. My husband and I just moved to Sparks and honestly I was hesitant to pick a moving Company in Fernley because we already had issues with every move we have ever made. Except this one, which was beyond overwhelming for me because we had 20 years of "stuff" we no longer used and we were downsizing. I cannot recommend C&B Solutions enough. Chris and his partner Larry were an absolute joy to work with as we moved a storage unit - which included a washer dryer and a 400 lb wine fridge, among other furniture - into our vacation home. We initially had some issues getting into the storage unit, and these guys immediately sprung into action, helping us devise an alternative plan. Everything was seamless and we were able to stick to our pretty tight schedule. They even went above and beyond by offering to pick up lunch on the way to the destination. Once we arrived at our Tahoe home, Chris backed our trailer up into our very steep driveway to ensure that the road would not be blocked. We moved our 3,000 sf house from Reno to Phoenix. Big job, right? Yep. Chriss was very responsive via text, but didn't bother to show up the day of the move. The job was supposed to take 4-5 hours with 3 people but ended up being closer to 8 hours with 5 people. Was thankful he helped us out there. The problem was that since he didn't show up, I didn't know that the moving blankets that you rent with the truck aren't high quality. First time moving with a moving van, so how was I to know. Well, I have a hand crafted, solid teak dining room table and the movers put a bed frame up against my table with one crappy blanket. A picture of the damage is attached. I took out moving insurance, but they never responded and Chriss never followed up to make sure the damage was taken care of. I can not recommend C&B Solutions enough. I managed to get an apartment lease last minute for a place across town and had the daunting task of finding moving help with only 2 days notice. Chriss at C&B was more than willing to offer their services at a super reasonable rate. (About half of what I was quoted from a few moving companies in Reno). The morning of our move, Chriss and the other mover (I can't remember his name right now..lol) arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule, ready to rock and roll. I explained what I needed, and they got to work right away. Both of them were so friendly, nice and made this move a lot less stressful than it could have been. Everything was loaded in their trailer and later carried into our new place with no hassle. They even helped assemble our bedroom furniture, despite with some minor hiccups with missing hardware. I really want to write two reviews. One with ten stars and one with four. But since I can only write one, I'll break this into two pieces. First, the ten stars... the packing and moving. I was blown away by Chris and his crew. They went so far above and beyond that were I to try to describe it completely, you might not believe it. They took on a massive job. They packed up my mom's very large home full of fragile and difficult items to move.. from seven foot tall glass cabinets with curved doors to boxes full of tiny figurines. They hand wrapped everything, from huge to tiny and transported over 20,000 pounds of stuff thousands of miles across the country with nary a scratch and nothing lost. The crew are a delight to work with. Many of them are family and other couples and friends. They all get along great with each other and I got along great with them. They come as a big group, which is great because that it is the only way they could have completed our job with such attention to detail in a reasonable time frame. Unlike many moving (and other) companies, everyone on the team is empowered to speak for and to carry information to the rest of the team. This is so different, and so refreshing! You can ask anyone a request or question and if they can't answer it, they'll get it taken care of. They all convey the sense of caring and being personally invested in the project. We had to transport several delicate four foot high ship models complete with delicate woodwork and tiny lines for the rigging. This was a huge challenge and they overcame it by HAND BUILDING huge crates that were so nicely constructed that they could easily be on an Ikea showroom floor. Some of their pictures in this Yelp entry feature these crates and the ships.. so yes, this is for real. AND they included cleaning out all the junk we didn't want, renting yet another van and hauling it off to the dump or their retail shop. This saved us SO much effort. Needless to say, this was not a cheap project. I think the final costs were reasonable. In fact, I think we probably paid less than C&B should have been compensated for all that they did, which included plane flights, equipment rental, lodging and many many hours of human effort. Which brings me to the reason for the hypothetical second four star review. The one area of improvement is on the business end. Communications around payments and receipts were not crystal clear and some price adjustments had to be made along the way in order to meet Chris' payroll. That said, they are a new and growing company, bootstrapping several aspects of their business and going through some inevitable churn. One last note. As I said above, this is not an impersonal business. Chris is very friendly and like to get close to his customers and his crew are human beings, laughing and talking with each other. I really liked this. In fact, I became quite fond of Chris and his crew. But for my mom, who is 92 and from the generation where business and friends don't mix, this was challenging and I had to work with Chris to tone down the chumminess a bit when communicating with her.. which he did. All in all, this is a great bunch. If you want truly personal, quality service from people empowered to be happy human beings, this is the company for you. read more

Great team! Two nice, polite, clean-cut young men drove down to California to pick up furniture we were sending to family in Nevada. I wish I could post 2 reviews for Chriss and his team. One would be 5 stars for the work they did, the efficiency in which they did it and the amazing attitude all of his team had while they worked. But the other review would be 1 star for reliability and trustworthiness. It has now been 180 days since Chriss took possession of my household goods and I have yet to receive payment for them. The specifics are as follows: I hired C&b solutions to move all my household goods out of my house and sell them, as my wife and I are moving overseas. Chriss and his team showed up on the scheduled day and did an amazing job packing all my items and loading them in the moving truck. At the end of the day Chriss offered to buy all my items for a set price so they could sell them as they see fit for however much they want. This seemed reasonable and we negotiated what I thought was a fair price for our household goods. Chriss then subtracted from that price his cost for moving all my items out of my house and to their location. In the end we settled on what we both felt was fair. He told me he would mail me a check that week for the agreed upon amount of money. 180 days later and we have yet to receive said payment. He has expressed regret for taking so long and thanked me numerous times for my patience but has yet to provide any payment whatsoever. Fortunately I have a voice recording of our entire conversation in which we discussed price, his expenses and the final amount due to us. Thank goodness for iPhones. I hope this review serves as a warning to potential clients of C&B Solutions. If all you need is your stuff moved they are amazing. But if you need them to sell your items for you beware. You run the risk of having your items stolen. And all communication from them subsequently terminated. My items that are in their possession are now considered stolen goods and I have been forced to proceed with legal actions. read more
