My fiancee and I were visiting a particular wedding venue and saw some gorgeous pictures in the…read moreoffice of a event coordinator and were told they were by Artlynn. I couldn't stop staring at them! We later started our search looking for a wedding photographer. This is no small feat. I learned that just because someone is a photographer doesn't mean they do weddings. I checked into several photographers and did thorough research. When I called Artlynn, I spoke to Jeff. He was professional, helpful and very friendly. I had many questions and he answered them all. He encouraged me to come into the studio to look at their work in person. So, I came in the next day (conveniently located) and was absolutely wowed by the photo work displayed in the studio along with the photo albums I got to look at. The pictures are clear, so much so, I felt like I was actually there in the scene. Now, that's talent. The pictures online don't do them enough justice, definitely go pay them a visit. When my fiancee was available, he came to see the photos for himself. Like me, he was impressed. Jeff once again was friendly and took time with us along with being very accommodating which we appreciated. We were glad our wedding date was available as it is a popular date. We are also relieved because Artlynn has done photography at our wedding venue many many times so they are familiar with the place which we know will be to our advantage. I look forward to providing an updated review when our wedding photos are completed but I will say that our impression so far is really good and their prices we found that, compared to others, are very reasonable. Things got a little confusing in the paperwork process. We would talk to Jeff but when it came to receiving contract documents or messages through email, it came from Anthony. When responding to Anthony's email, I would get a reply to talk to Jeff. A suggestion I would make is that if we are dealing with Jeff, then it should be him throughout the whole process and the same process with Anthony. I shared this information with Jeff. This place has been in business for 61 years! If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what will. Thank you Artlynn!

The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Essi met with my fiance & I twice, once when we first inquired about photography for our wedding and again a month before our big day. A lot of photography agencies and freelancers will just hop on a call or zoom to meet with you, but not Essi. She made it a point to meet with us & get to know us in person. Having never serviced a middle eastern style wedding, she absolutely crushed it! She was so attentive and took her time with us; never rushed us or made us feel like we were just another booking. She got to know us on a personal level and took interest in who we were as a couple. As someone who lost a large deposit to a previous photography agency who outsourced knockoff photographers, I am so incredibly happy I stumbled upon Essi. Her work is simply unmatched, professional and so so sooo beautiful. You will not regret booking with Essi.

I gave her a broad overview of what I wanted, she got back to me with some ideas and totally nailed not only what I wanted but also made sure to incorporate my daughter's personality and comfort level in front of the camera. Essi's response time before and after the shoot was phenomenal, she adjusted her camera equipment for the different lighting at every location, she's creative, focused, fun, personable, and what she captured with my daughter is priceless. I was astounded at the turnaround time in getting our photos because of the time she clearly took in getting each photo to a finished product. But, above everything else was what I saw in the final product...I saw 'my' daughter, who she is, her personality, and not a 'posed' girl with no personality. Thank you Essi, from the bottom of this mom's happy heart!

However, Lynzie was always so responsive and understanding throughout the changes we had to make. It took so much stress off our backs. While she was not available for our 2021 date, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Maria, G, and Randy. Together they were able to capture our wedding through photographs and video. We received the sneak peaks and the full gallery soo quickly! The photos left me completely speechless. I am so honored to have been able to have Bonphotage be apart of our day. Update April 2026* Updating to 3-stars I originally gave Bonphotage a 5 star review immediately following booking and our engagement photo session. The things I said were true up and we were happy at first. In hindsight I should've provided an updated review sooner brides have one chance to get this right so they should be making decisions off of comprehensive reviews. The engagement photos were great at first glance but they came out so grainy that when I tried uploading them to Minted for our save the dates, they were flagged as low-res when we received the prints they still looked unclear and we ended up having to redo/reorder our save the dates. Lynzie insisted this level of grain was normal for film, but my photographer friend who I went to for advice disagreed (also I have eyes). At this point she also informed us that she was not able to shoot our wedding, but we ended up working it out and met Serena who reshot our engagement photos in digital and also shot our wedding whom we enjoyed working with. We were generally content with the wedding gallery, but the editing was inconsistent it looked like there was a preset/filter applied across the board, which she denied doing. There was some back and forth and she adjusted a few specific ones that I requested, but by this point I just didn't care anymore as I was just so over it as most brides are by the time their wedding is over. At this premium price point I just expected better quality.
