A massive thank you to our AMAZING photographer, Andrew, who restored a precious photograph from the past that could never be recreated. From the time he received the photo in horrible shape (the cracks had been held together with duct tape), Andy was confident that he had everything under control as we held our breath. He was great in communicating with us and taking our ideas about what we wanted done. We were delighted to find out that once he received it he developed a plan on how he was going to do the restoration. We knew he was the right photographer as he did an amazing job on each of our children's weddings. Everyone had remarked about his beautiful work and loved him. We recently received an email of the before and after and couldn't be happier with them. We now are awaiting the actual restored photos with great excitement. I would have him work on any restoration project that has sentimental value to you. When dealing with these photos you realize that if someone doesn't have their heart in their work and messes it up, you only had one shot, and the project would have been permanently destroyed. Kramer's also does framing and boy did they save me when I was in a bind. I brought in a framed mirror that broke as I was preparing to sell my house. I couldn't replace the mirror with another one because it fit in a very specific space in the master bath. On top of that my realtor's photographer was coming to take photos of the house in two days so I had to have the mirror frame fixed under a very tight deadline. Andrew came through for me in spades. He did an amazing job fixing the frame under a crazy tight deadline. That kind of service speaks volumes --; Andrew stepped-up and amazed me. Where to begin! I am new to Yelp, but want to start here by reviewing my photography company I used for my wedding on 7/30/11. I also just started working for a Bridal Shop in Lombard, IL this January 2012, where I get to speak with Brides every day. So, I felt that it was time to start sharing the great experience. First to start off with I heard about Kramer Photography when I used to work in Lake Zurich many years ago (1995) and they were well known. I always kept them in the back of my mind for one day when I get married. Years later, I was ready to get married : ) I went to the closest location in Naperville, IL. I met Andrew S. He was so helpful and kind while showing me the packages that they had to offer. He shot our engagement picture (turned out great) and we ordered a 8x10. By the time the wedding day came, he was on time to each house and then church and hall. He was amazing, when I say that I mean he was on point with everyone's names, our culture (serbian orthodox) our ceremony, our reception and our special requests for pictures with certain guests. People from my wedding loved that he kept everyone moving long and was friendly in doing so. He even made my flower girl laugh (she was acting up a bit in the church during pics). I received my proofs online shortly after the wedding. They looked great online and was ready to pick ones out to order albums. I was stressed about how to go about picking and choosing pics and arranging them, but the day my husband and I went in there he was with us every step of the way. He made great recommendations with picture placements and leather cover options. I received our album about 5 months after the wedding and was soooooooooo happy with it. I wouldn't change a thing! So, in closing, I WILL BE recommending Kramer to every bride I see at my job and telling everyone on here what a great company it is and how wonderful Andrew is to work with! After your special day all you have to capture the moments are the photos. Our photographer- Andrew Siedelmann was excellent. From the initial meeting to the day of the wedding Andrew showed a talent that is hard to find these days- caring. He cared about getting to know us, what my wife wanted and what was important to her. The day of the wedding he took amazing shots and was creative in the types of photos he suggested we take. The church we got married at gave us an extremely strict window of only 30 minutes to take photos inside and out after the ceremony. Andrew's organizational skills and talents enabled us to get all of the shots we wanted with family members and friends and then some time for extra shots. We won a Kramer photographer session plus 11x14 (total of $400 package) through a silent auction for Cals angels - a charity supporting pediatric cancer. The session went fine, but when it came time for picking out family photos I was shocked at their prices. $77 for a 5x7, $595 for a 20x24, etc. I wanted to order five prints which would have cost $2500. That is insane! I complained when I picked up my 11x14 which was included in my package - I told them this is a "bait and switch." Who wants to do a family session and only get one 11x14? Surely everyone would want to buy additional prints - they are trying to make a ton of money off this charity event. Ridiculous and pathetic! The best part: my 11x14 - supposed to be photo corrected, etc - supposed to be way more professionally finished than other photographers which is why they say they charge so much- was posted on a 1/4" foam board and after photo shopping - has two garbage cans sitting right behind our family - so great! I literally have no family prints from the experience. What a waste of time and money - letting cals angels know that this is not the kind of company they want to be affiliated with. read more

Andrew shot our wedding last month and I was absolutely amazed at his professionalism, courtesy and efficiency. We didn't have to stand in one place for an hour while he took 100 photographs, yet somehow he managed to cover our entire wedding from start to finish giving us several hundred awesome photos to choose from.
