I didn't know what she was doing when she asked for my phone and for me to open Google. I mentioned I review on Yelp, and she said Google is fine. Hmm ok, if she just told me, I would've done it. They did a decent job of creating my sunset design and mentioned I have 7 days to come back if I don't like my set! That was cool! There's construction right outside the shop in the parking lot affecting all the businesses in that strip, no fault of theirs. The pedi was good too. One thing - she set a timer of 3 mins for the lotion massage, but didn't really start until 30 secs later. And with the amount of lotion used, once the timer went off, she wiped off whatever lotion was left instead of perhaps giving a 5 min massage and working in all the lotion. I felt a little jipped of my favorite part of a pedi. I don't live in this area so I'm not sure that I'll come back. However, if I do need a salon near UCI Medical Center I feel comfortable enough to come back.

In total, I spent about THREE HOURS there for a simple pedicure and a gel builder fill with one solid color -- no designs. They tried to make up for the wait by telling me they were giving me a $15 discount and wouldn't charge me for the "chrome" on my toes. I was confused because I didn't get chrome. I literally showed the front desk girl my toes and asked, "What chrome?" She looked at them and said, "Oh." Then I realized my total was still $190 : the exact same price I had been told BEFORE they supposedly gave me the discount. At that point, I honestly didn't have the energy to question it further. My time had already been wasted enough. That is ultimately why I'm giving this place 1 star. Time is money, and if you accept an appointment for a certain time, there should be some level of urgency and respect for that person's schedule. I would have genuinely preferred for them to simply say, "Sorry, we don't have time to fit you in today," rather than have me sit there waiting and spend three hours on two basic services.
