Been going here and became a loyal customer after my sister introduced me to the cleanest, best mani pedi I have ever had. I now go every 2 weeks and normally get a spa pedi and gel mani - I can't say enough about these ladies; they are attentive, diligent and my nails NEVER chip within that 2 week period. It's amazing because I used to not be able to get through a week without them chipping and coming off, esp the gel ( I play volleyball and we are not known for our pretty nails), but not after going here. We have been loyal customers to Creative Nails since they opened, December 2015. The employees have always been friendly and helpful, and the establishment is super clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this salon to anyone! During our appointments today, we encountered a woman who clearly did not feel the same way, and we wanted to share our story because we felt she treated the employees and business unfairly. Today my friend and I came in for a gel manicure and acrylic set. While we were waiting, a customer from last night came in to get a nail fixed that had broken after she left the previous night. The manager quickly recognized the woman when she came in and asked to take a picture of her nails in order to show the other technicians; the customer was clearly unsatisfied with her service despite the manager accommodating her request. This woman then proceeded to loudly and obnoxiously criticize the salon manager and the technician. According this woman, the technician apparently failed to make her nails even, failed to give her the proper amount of coats, failed to spend the "proper amount of time on cuticles," and blamed her nail breaking on the technician. My friend and I actually saw this woman's nails and they looked fabulous, we have no idea where this attack came from. The woman tried to ask for her money back for the manicure, however, the manager correctly pointed out that her broken nail was not the technicians fault and she was not entitled to a refund because she was unhappy with the service. The salon manager handled the situation well. When she left we were not expecting her to leave a tip, but she approached the manager and continued her rant then had the nerve to leave two dollars in quarters which just felt like a slap in the face to the technician who has done both my nails and my friends nails very well before. This woman was embarrassing and told the manager "if she can't handle criticism, she shouldn't have a Yelp account," and that "she could have done a better job herself." I am posting this review because I completely disagree. I do not believe that the purpose of Yelp is to single handedly destroy small businesses. A nail salon is like anything else: they provide a service, and they will do their best, but just because you are paying for a service does not give you the right to demand perfection. If you think you can do a better job and you feel the need to make a public exhibition in order to shame a business, then please save yourself the embarassment and the $21 (plus $2 tip in quarters). read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The level of service was great and I have gotten some of the best manicures and pedicures I have ever had here. The place is also so clean!!! This place absolutely cleans on a regular basis and maintains the equipment very well. read more

If you go there and it's busy leave immediately. I was getting a regular manicure (that lasted no longer than 5 minutes may I add). Customers kept coming in requesting to get services done, and although every employee was busy with their customers, they kept accepting people and telling them "10-15 min wait". As people began to accumulate in the waiting area they rushed through faster than I've ever seen anyone paint nails. The lady that was working on me cut the skin around my nail and continued to paint over it. It was bleeding until AFTER I left the salon (I should note I dried them for 15+ minute) not ok. She gave me a cotton ball for ME to hold on my own finger. When I took it off my nail was completely smudged. They also charge 5 extra dollars for ONE LAYER OF SPARKLES On only TWO NAILS. There are several other nail salons off of Rt 53. I would seriously consider looking elsewhere. read more

I loved this salon the first few times I went, but recently when I went in for a pedicure the strangest thing happened. My nail tech used an electric file (like the kind they use when doing acrylics) to file my toenails, on the top edge and the surface!! My skin was nicked twice in the process, and within two days both of my big toes had cracked off in the outer corners. I figured it would grow back, and next time I would just be sure to tell her not to use that tool... well its been over a month and no matter how many times I cut the nails way back so that they are even, the corner keeps chipping off!!!! Super worried by now. I don't understand why this tool was used, I have very normal, average toenails lol, I don't know why they needed to be attacked with an electric file :-( I really hope they aren't ruined forever :-/ If you do go, make sure this tool is not used on your toenails! read more

Lovely experience. My mom and I had mani/pedis and upon walking in, were greeted very nicely and taken care of right away. Staff was pleasant and the salon was clean. Especially love that they have liners in the tub. Overall, relaxing experience from start to finish. We'll be back! read more

This was always my go to place. I'm not happy with how my gel manicure came out, not the shape I asked, all different lengths, weren't even filed, rough edges. I brought it to the girls attention that they came out horrible. I feel like they are rushing, i understand they want to go home because it was 6:30 but what we spend on getting our nails done I want full attention and not rushing. read more

Creative Nails & Spa at 6 Grove Street in Norwell is, first of all in a super convenient location. It is at the corner of Grove and Route 53 next to the convenience store and gas station. There is always plenty of parking there so no worries. The second thing is that of all the times I have gone to Creative Nails & Spa, never have I had an appointment but there is always someone to accommodate my walking in. Never do you feel like you are a hassle when you just walk in - instead you are made to feel so welcome. The third thing is that the space is so incredibly neat and impeccably clean. There is never ever any odor of nail polish or remover. There is an entire wall of very comfortable pedicure chairs that are like massage chairs with extra cushion and are always clean. It is so relaxing you never want to get up! The tub where your feet go is covered with plastic that is changed for every customer. When you sit down they offer you a small bottle of spring water, All of the nail professionals there are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and never rush through the job. It is obvious that they all truly enjoy what they do. Now I am not exactly easy on my nails and am not very dainty. They always give me exactly the kind of manicure I need so that my nails look beautiful for up to three weeks!! I have, on occasion, tried other places, but there is no place like Creative Nails and Spa. It is so refreshing to be around people who are friendly, happy, and accommodating. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. They don't even cut your cuticles!!!! They started laughing at a women when she walked in as I'm sitting there getting my nails done. How rude of them! Paid 40 dollars for THE worst manicure. One of my nails is darker than the others because the tech messed up and had to do an extra coat on that one nail and not the others. Place stinks. Had a manicure here on Monday I asked the technician to put bond on my nails and she only put it on the tips so now today is Thursday I have 4 chipped nails I also asked her not to put the polish on thick as she did. I've been coming here since they opened, as I work right up the street and I've never had anything less than a great experience. It's actually a quite pathetic to see that people go out of their way to complain about some of the silliest things. Well, at least Taco Bell keeps them happy. But I digress... Rushed and overpriced. Got a gel manicure and it was the most rushed nail experience I've ever had. There are air bubbles and marks on my nails and polish all around my skin. She didn't paint far enough up to my cuticle so it looks like they are grown out even though I just got them done minutes ago. Ive given this place a few chances and will never go back. Not worth the overpriced $30 for the blatantly rushed service. If you want a good experience instead try Euphoria up the street in Norwell or Gel Bar in Hanover. read more

I came in to get a fill on my acrylics and I can honestly say my nails looked better when I arrived at Creative Nails than when I left. Not only were several of the employees dismissive when I inquired if they could recreate a certain design on my nails but my nail tech was among the worst i've ever had. She continually sanded over the soft skin surrounding my nails with her filing equipment, so much so that I now have cuts along my nails. This was all for naught as my cuticles look as if I haven't gotten a manicure in months. Not only this but the techs made comments about my jewelry and its price. Just plain uncomfortable and unprofessional. I rejected the complementary massage they offer clients at the end of each nail service and got out of there. It's a shame I will now have to get my nails refilled for my upcoming vacation. I will NOT be returning to Creative Nails and would advise anyone seeking nail services to go elsewhere. read more

S/O to my first Yelp Review. Okay so I use to go here ALL the time. I loved it there and the staff was always nice and friendly. But I recently went in there to get my lip and chin waxed and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. I walked in maybe 10 minutes after they opened and they took me in basically right away. The lady took me in and like I said, I asked to get my lip and chin waxed. What does she do? Immediately attempts to try to wax my eye brows because that's exactly what I did not want so I politely asked her I just need my lip and chin waxed. I do not like anyone touching my eye brows. So then she finally starts waxing my lip but oddly just waxed a PIECE of my lip and then just leaves the room and says "couple minutes." Then she walks back into the room immediately and then starts to wax my lip again and somehow just manages to cut my lip open and it starts bleeding mainly because she ripped a piece of my lip off. Not even sure HOW someone can manage that and the best part is she left the room after it happened. Then someone else came in to finish the terrible job that she did (not even sure how you can actually mess up a lip and chin wax). But the best part of the whole story is that THEY STILL MADE ME PAY EVEN THOUGH THEY TORE MY LIP OPEN AND MADE IT BLEED. The fact that I paid for someone to rip open my lip is absolutely mind blowing and they didn't even ask if I was okay. Sadly since I work in the restaurant business I can never go somewhere and not tip so not only did I pay for it but I also tipped them for the worst service I've ever gotten. So long story short, safe to say I will not be returning to this location. read more

I have my go to salon on the South Shore and this is my second favorite I come from Boston to get my nails done here. They take their time and it's clean and spacious. I have been getting SNS acrylics and LOVE them! Thinner and more natural than regular acrylics. read more

Update- dragged myself back to the salon to get yet another nail that broke fixed, and a woman working there openly stated to me in front of the entire salon that she does not want my business. Called me out in front of everyone, angry about my yelp review. First of all, I wasn't planning on coming back, but figured I should get my nail fixed since I already paid a ridiculous amount for that atrocious manicure and that is all I wanted. Good customer service would have been to please the customer, make it right and I would have gladly updated or changed my review. If you can't handle criticism, you shouldn't have a business. I have no problem paying more for something when it's actually worth it, but this was not. I should't have to ask for things they should be doing anyways- (making my nails even, knowing how to paint nails, actually doing my cuticles which now look like I've gone 2 months without having them done...thanks) Don't waste your money or expect to be disappointed and ripped-off.
