A little disappointed is an understatement. I neglected 6 red flags. I reached out to the salon with my concern. Although they stated they could get me another consultation with a different stylist, I declined because Becca was already a level 6. I was disappointed that they didn't even offer a reimbursement or even a partial reimbursement. I will not use this salon again and recommend researching all stylists at this location before booking an appointment. Below is the requested hair style, and the results received. At a level 6 stylist, you would believe that Becca would have said she could not achieve the results requested.

I have been getting gel manicures for many years and never were they that thick. So thick that I had difficulty getting my contacts out that night. I don't think they cured properly and they were almost sticky when I was in the shower. They also gave me two "free" nail designs and I am not an artist but I could have done better! My husband said it looked like I had a bug painted on my nails. I did pay and did tip because that's who I am. The owner asked if everything was fine and I said yes - first because I didn't have the time to get them fixed as I needed to go to work and second because I was frustrated and wanted to leave. The next day I went to a different place to have the gel taken off and reapplied. They kept asking "what type of gel is this" because it was so thick. When I explained I had them done the day before they said oh no because they looked like they had been grown out for a week.

Then she gouged my cuticle last March and blood went everywhere. The biggest problem was that she seemed unclear how to keep my blood from getting on all the brushes and buffers she continued to use on me. It seemed she was trying to avoid her co-workers from seeing what had happened. My finger was still bleeding when I left the salon and was swollen and sore for days. I reluctantly visited again but requested John for my pedicure and my toes looked great but had his head turned towards the television most of the time and mumbled nothing more than "is this your color?". He didn't he acknowledge that I was on crutches which seemed somewhat rude considering I'd been coming here for years. Maybe he was having a bad day but it felt dismissive. Being treated politely should be an simple expectation for a salon to meet considering people go there to feel a bit pampered. They definitely fail to fulfill that on a regular basis, not to mention the blood contamination concerns. I don't look forward to coming here, so I'm sadly going to be looking for another salon.
