Being new to cupping, I had no idea what to expect and, wow, it was better than I anticipated. Amanda took her time to talk with me when I arrived to get to know me and explain the cupping process. She spent the beginning of the appointment doing a deep tissue massage, focusing on my areas of tension. This included some stretching, which felt amazing. She was very knowledgeable, commenting on reasons for tension/knots in certain areas and even knowing from massaging my neck that I clench my teeth! At the end of the massage came the cupping. Amanda used stationary cups (the traditional ones that stay in place with suction) as well as cups that she moved around, describing it as almost a "reverse massage." This was a "hurts but feels good" situation for me. I really enjoyed it, and felt like the tension in my neck and shoulders was finally relieved. Amanda suggested an epsom salt bath and rest as cupping is intended to detox the body. I took her suggestions and felt so relaxed. The cupping did leave marks but they went away in about a week. I would absolutely go back for a massage and cupping!

I set my initial appointment in January only to be canceled due to snow. April 7th I received a text message with information about upcoming appointments available. I chose April 20th at 6:45. ten minutes later she messaged me back telling me she only had 745. I told her that I would take that but if anything else would be to become available to please keep me in mind. On April 20th I went to the Bristol location for my appointment which I thought was for 645. when I walked up to the door I realize there was no sign outside to tell me which door to enter. The door was locked. no one was there to greet any customers or even unlock the door. So I began to knock loudly so that the business which was on the second floor could hear me and possibly come down to let me in.. No one came to the door or answered the phone! When I checked my text message to see if I had the right time. I noticed I was an hour early. so I left and came back. When I came back at 7:40 the door was still locked. there was still no answer to the phone and it was now cold and rainy and I was standing outside knocking again. I've been text messaged the woman and still got no response. about 750 she answered her phone. I had realized that the phone number given on the Groupon site for the business was her personal cell phone and that the business doesn't even have a phone line.. She proceeded to yell at me that I was banging on her door loudly and that it was disrupting the session that she was in. she stated that she didn't have her book with her to check for our appointment. And proceeded to yell at me some more about my loud banging. I asked her if I could please have a refund because I was not going to be coming back. she rudely told me that she would be calling Groupon to let them know.. I hung up the phone and drove myself home very upset. When I got home I sent her a text message explaining to her how rude and unprofessional I felt that she was. She never addressed the fact that she had me scheduled for an appointment and had me standing outside for 20 minutes in the rain. I told her that I was going to be posting reviews all over social media about my dealing with her in her business. Instead of her trying to make any of this right she then told me she would call the police on me if I text her again. And that groupon would stop allowing me to use their site. Needless to say Groupon has Givin me a full refund, taken down all the information about this experience and applied it to her reviews! And of course, givin me the appology I deserve..
