So he kept turning it from side to side to wash away soap, tooth paste, etc. Over time, he basically "unscrewed" the faucet. Long story short, she was NOT helpful in any way - merely an order taker. I couldn't make heads or tail of their website - but I knew exactly what I wanted. I looked elsewhere for a vendor to no avail. Even if I had ordered with the online company, I would have had to install myself or find an installer. So I turned to Yelp . . . I have had MUCH success with Yelp finding excellent service and skilled providers. I entered the details of what I wanted and submitted the project for response. I got maybe 4 companies contacting me - one being Eric Call Contracting. This company asked to schedule some time to talk - and so we did. All the other responses merely asked if I HAD the deck covering as they just wanted to install it. None would entertain the idea of helping me source the deck cover. Eric and Angie showed up when they said they would and we began to talk. I explained what I wanted, showed the brochure from the home and garden show, showed them our deck - and they went to work. Eric tried to work with the awning company I had wanted to buy from - but he got nowhere despite being more persistent than me. Eric still understood what I wanted - a permanent frame that would attach to and extend up from the deck with canvas runners that we would open and pull shut and remove in the winter. We would also be able to replace the runners should they get damaged. Eric drew up a design and shared it with me - along with possible runners he found on Amazon. We had a lot of back and forth and they were great keeping in touch. I finally decided to go with them despite having no other bids for comparison. Clearly no one else wanted to do the work needed to get me the deck covering I wanted. I signed on the dotted line and cut a check to get the project started. Again, Eric and Angie did a great job of communicating with me and providing updates. Although working through Yelp does provide some financial protection, I was still nervous going with the first company I contacted. But they definitely earned my trust - the materials showed as promised. And work began as promised, and before I knew it, my vision of a deck covering had materialized! Our deck is on the back/south side of the house. There are no trees or shading so we fight to keep the house cool on sunny days. We had recently replaced a large, rust painted deck with a smaller light treated wood deck. Now with this covering, we are already enjoying not having to turn on the A/C as much, leaving the back door open for a breeze, and actually being able to sit on our deck when the sun is hot. We've also been able to pull the runners closed when a windy storm hit. And in the winter, I'll take the runners down to protect them and allow full sun in the cold temperatures. I cannot say enough about how I appreciated the work this company did. I highly recommend you contact them when you have a project.

Update 3/10/2026 I reached out to Brad Hulls at Kitchen…read moreSolvers when our beautiful and well loved kitchen suffered water damage last fall. Brad and the Kitchen Solvers team had remodeled our kitchen nearly eight years ago. We loved the look (timeless), and the way our kitchen worked for us, and had recommended Kitchen Solvers to many friends and neighbors over the years. After the flood, we faced restoration work, and after frustrating delays, and conversations from "restoration services" that said they could "come close" but actually left more damage in their wake, I stopped crying and decided to call Brad to see if he would be willing to take on this job. Brad came out quickly, took careful measurements, and said "I think we can fix this." Rather than offering "maybe" and "close match," he was able to rebuild and replace missing cabinets and trim strips with exact matches on the finish, while protecting what remained of our kitchen. Throughout the process, Melinda in the front office fielded numerous texts and questions from me promptly, with both precision and good humor, and kept me updated on all scheduling. Every person who came through our door during this process was highly skilled, on time, polite, professional, and respectful of our property. Our lead technician, Tannor, and the Kitchen Solvers team made everything fit seamlessly, updating and finishing everything so that it looks exactly like it what it looked like - and actually works better than - it did before disaster struck. Tannor took extra time at every step of the process to make sure everything was adjusted perfectly and looked great. He addressed every concern, and went above and beyond, finding replacement parts that I thought couldn't exist. If you are considering a kitchen makeover in these difficult times when parts availability and shipping issues are unavoidable, consider this: from start to finish, you truly cannot ask for more reliable, professional, and respectful humans to be working in your home every day. I am grateful that Brad was willing to take on this job, and delighted with the results. Thanks to Kitchen Solvers, we have gone from ruined wreck to a beautiful, fully functional kitchen.

I also felt that the pricing for the products and refacing was very good. Melinda and Tracy were excellent to work with. They kept us informed on the timeline events of the project and kept open communications. Unfortunately, my experience with the cabinet and drawer refacing was much more difficult. The workers assigned to my project appeared to have limited experience with kitchen cabinet and drawer refacing. David was the most knowledgeable and did a good job considering the situation. As a result, there were several mistakes and instances of damage that required correction, which added considerable time and frustration to the project. What was particularly disappointing was that I did not feel I had been adequately informed beforehand about the level of experience of the workers who would be performing the refacing. Had I understood this in advance, I would have had the opportunity to ask questions or reconsider how I wanted the work handled. Rather than being a smooth and straightforward renovation, the refacing portion became a stressful and time-consuming process. I appreciate that mistakes can happen during any renovation, but I believe clear communication and transparency with the customer are especially important when the people performing the work are still developing their skills. I am sharing this feedback because I believe Kitchen Solvers has good products and competitive pricing, and I hope my experience can help improve the customer experience for others in the future. In particular, I would encourage greater transparency regarding who will be performing the work and their level of experience, as well as stronger oversight and quality control during the installation process. Overall, while I am pleased with the countertop, sink, cooktop, backsplash, and pricing, I cannot say that the cabinet refacing experience met my expectations. My three-star review reflects that distinction: there were aspects of the project that were very good, but the workmanship, attention to detail , communication, and additional stress involved in the refacing significantly affected my overall experience.
