    Better Than Nana Makes It.

OMG, the beer here is fantastic. It's different, fruity, almost like a juice bar, with a kick. I tried the 'Green Jello Smoothie Ale'. Totally delicious. One is not enough. I am prefer a blonde or stout ale and stay away from the fruity beers, but wow, this one was good. The service is very good, the server was more than happy to tell us about their beers. The place was much like you would expect at a place that was in its infancy, bare bones but not too bad. I have been to worse. It was wrestling night and there was a ring outside & some amateur wrestlers, fun stuff. When friends come into town, I'll take them there.

The ambiance was cool! We went to see the live performances there and we all had a good time. The beer was pretty good (the fruit flavored ones weren't really my thing, but the bartenders there are friendly and accommodating). The food trucks they had there had delicious carne asada tacos and nachos too!

First time in and LOVE it. The ambiance is crazy in here because all they want you to do is feel like you're at home drinking beer. There's tv for you to watch (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc) and the number one thing is The drinks are to DIE FOR. the Conejo named after the rapper is THEE BEST hazy I've had. My gf had the Yotelada which is named after the rap group Coyote and that is THEE best michelada I've ever had by far! The cool part is you expect like Tajín on rim but it is like it's all mixed in there and it's BOMB. The owner/beertender is friendly as heck and it's like no other, yall definitely need to stop by when you're in area or want to go to a brewery! This is up and coming and I can't wait to see the progress! 20/10 will def be coming back

This is their frozen slushie multi fruit sour beer. It was amazing!

You order at the Bar counter for your Brew & for the tacos. The food is made at their permanent fixture food truck outside. The tacos are amazing and generously portioned. The Birria was my favorite! Carne asada was good too. The staffers are nice and ready to serve. There is high communal and individual table top seating inside and sports playing on the TV. Picnic Bench tables out on the front patio are & close to the food truck. It's pretty busy but worth the little wait for your tacos to be done. So sip sip while you wait for the buzzer to go off! Looking forward to our next visits here.

The workers there were super friendly and chill and when asking about their in house beers they were not hesitant to see what you like and give you a beverage to the best of your liking! The lighting inside is just right for day or night as it allows natural lighting in during the day with the garage door style windows and when it's night time the interior lights are not over powering to brighten up the place! If you all have not tried the "local motion" i HIGHLY recommend it if you like a great IPA! If you are looking for a great place with good vibes and a perfect place to kick back to eat tacos and have a beer or two i definitely recommend craft coast in San Marcos!

It has a bit of a sports bar atmosphere but it is not truly a sports bar (they have the t.v.'s on playing sports but it doesn't have the sports bar feel. We saw families and dogs and friends and couples - so it is a place for all people. I love that it has two big openings to the outside so it doesn't feel stuffy inside. Our server was very friendly and patient but could have been a bit more attentive once we got our food as we ran out of napkins and water and had to flag her down. I had the lamb burger special and it was truly to die for. If I hadn't worried about being too full I could have eaten another because it was so good. I think this should be a regular menu item. It was cooked perfectly and it was truly mouthwatering with all the toppings. Usually I hate buns but this bun was so soft and squishy and NOT dry that I gobbled it down. It came with a side and I was a little disappointed because it lists the sides on the menu and a side salad was one of them but when I got the bill it was extra for the side salad. When I asked she said there is an upcharge for the side salad (which was not noted on the menu). But the salad was great too so no problem! One friend had the pizza which I would not rate as an amazing pizza (I am an East Coaster so I am a pizza snob) but my friend loved it. They had some very cool toppings for their pizzas too. If you are going to go for a really good pizza I wouldn't go here. Come here for the other stuff on the menu. My other friend had the fish and chips and loved it. The portions were all very good sized. I am looking forward to returning - especially if I can get that lamb burger again.

Came here for lunch with a coworker and he was raving about the Wagyu sliders so I just had to try them. And yes, they are truly amazing as you can have them cooked as you like it. The bun was fresh and paired well with a generous slider patty of 100% grass fed New Zealand Kobe Wagyu Beef and topped with cheddar jack cheese. You can really taste the quality and juiciness of the patty. The sliders are pretty filling and will leave you stuffed. I opted for the onion rings and I am glad I did as the batter was crispy and onions thick cut, very delicious. Service was great and attentive and I recommend any burger or slider fans to try the Kobe Beef Sliders, they are very tasty and worth the visit to Carlsbad Brewing Company.

Pros: This spot is a good place to hang out if you're looking for a casual bar with activities like billiards and darts. The vibe is fun without being overly packed, which made it easy to enjoy the space. They have darts (which are free, you just leave your ID), a pool table, and a music queue system where you can pick songs to play, which adds an interactive element to the night. I didn't try the food but the drinks were solid and did not disappoint. The overall energy of the place was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It's one of those spots where you can relax, hang out, and have a good time. Cons: Parking here is probably the biggest downside. The lot is really small and gets packed quickly, so I wouldn't recommend relying on it. We parked nearby after eating at Copper Kings Burgers and just walked over, which ended up being way easier. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun, chill bar in San Marcos with games, music, and good drinks, this is a great spot to check out. Just plan ahead for parking, but overall it's definitely worth it and I would come back again!

But I can't tell if most people were just in the bar area - we were able to get a booth! The place was nice and loud since every one was having a good time. Several parties of 3+ and I saw 1 party of 6. They were doing an explorer menu from Yucatan. Interesting thing to do during Black History Month - I won't lie. I was surprised to see it. But we ordered from that menu. We ordered the fried plantain that came with a sauce and cilantro, sausage and pepper soup, and the BBQ pork. I enjoyed everything except for the plantain. They were basically a huge disc that was slightly crunchy. I was not expecting that since if I want a crunchy plantain, I will eat actual plantain chips. The soup was fantastic! It was a bit spicy but not overwhelming and full of flavor. Wish I ordered a bowl instead of a cup. And last but not least, the BBQ pork was very good. Served on lettuce as well, so if you are doing keto you can omit eating the tortillas that came with the dish. It also had pickled red onions and a salsa. The salsa was mild and with everything in the taco, flavors were balanced. We also ordered 6 Cajun wings. But today, they didn't seem as flavorful, a pity really. A grilled cheese was ordered but with hamburger meat inside. That seemed good and it came with fries. Washed all of this down with a sour that was called Boozy Berry & my fiancé had a West Coast beer. Food was enjoyable, atmosphere was fun. We will be back again.
