Let me first say that the smoked salmon plate was beautifully presented and very delicious. The salmon was tender and moist, accompanied with cream cheese and a wonderful pepper jelly. Oh, so good. My wine flight was mostly whites. My favorite tastes were the sauvignon blanc (not a typical suave blanc, less acidic with a smooth finish); the chardonnay, and the rose. But I enjoyed all the wines I tasted. Also note that they have a small gift shop with some very cute items. I'm so very glad we came here. Great staff, great views, great food and great wine. B) Was absent from the wedding venue for a majority of the evening. Every time someone sought him out, he was apparently offsite to retrieve necessary items and would return empty-handed. C) Did not come appropriately staffed & required other vendors to step in & assist with service. Without their assistance, dinner service would not have occurred. Ultimately, I would not recommend Abbott Catering for a wedding or large-scale event.

Our saving grace is that the room was clean, and the shower was fine. The rooms are parallel to a busy street, so there's a lot of traffic noise. Opening our one window curtain had a view of older homes, and they could see right into us as we could see into their living room. For the price, it's okay. We will stay in Roseburg, next time we visit family who live in Winston.

It was a great choice. Rooms are large and very clean. The property is maintained immaculately and the owners and employee of the inn are awesome. There is a coffee shop and small diner across the street, easy access to the river for an afternoon swim and a outdoor table to enjoy the warm afternoon breeze. Rates were very reasonable. This is an older property that has been maintained in great condition. If you find yourself in Glide, Oregon (which I recommend that you do sometime in you travels) I would recommend staying at the Illahee Inn.
