I advised my husband of such but also let him know they had some cute stuff. He had seen a shirt he wanted through the window and went in to get it while I stayed with the dog outside. He also wanted a bigfoot selfie, which is just taking a selfie with a bigfoot inside, and he ended up finding another shirt he liked so we did purchase a few items from this place but there was no real information here, and the clerk was not friendly to me (maybe because she should have called in sick). Don't expect much. This is just a store if you want to grab some touristy junk or souvenirs and apparently my husband did...

Owned and operated by a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman, this store is a great place to find all sorts of Lego toys. It's located on Maple, the block between Tower and Pearl. Follow the signage through the main sidewalk door and straight down a short hallway (don't go up the stairs) and the shop itself is at the end of the hall and on the left. Inside, you'll find a good collection of Lego sets and random, bulk buying opportunities. Sets include large, medium, and small sizes along with varying themes like Star Wars, Friends, Harry Potter, Creators, and City. There also are Lego Classic sets that were released in the 70's & 80's, which was cool to see and brought back plenty of memories for me! Additionally, there are many rare items and collectible sets behind the glass and in multiple display cases. One of the other great things about Brick in the Wall are two large bulk buying tables where you can purchases random pieces by the pound! Sift through and look for specific pieces you need or just take a bucket full and you're on your way! The owner also has some pre-made bags of bricks for sale - some organized by color and some by piece (like wheels, people, connecting pieces, etc.). Lastly, if you don't see what you want then they can order it for you! A very nice additional service, indeed! This is really a great little place and a quaint addition to the downtown. Lego sets can get pricey depending on the size and release, but Brick in the Wall offers things at a very reasonable and affordable cost ... a good value for what they have! I will certainly be back and seeing what new little gems I can find!

In fact, they helped us understand why we did or did not want a certain matte, frame, color, etc...and what is would do to the thing we were getting framed. A great casual atmosphere and they even offer a wonderful cup of Beltie Brew coffee. It's good stuff, and they sell it there. I wouldn't say this shop is the quickest, although I'm sure they will work with you if you need something faster. We were in no hurry.

She recently framed my grandmother's multi-strand beaded necklace and the piece looks phenomenal. I am so impressed that she went through and hand stitched each bead in matching thread colors to the matte. It took a while to complete, but was totally worth the wait! There is no one else in the area that I would trust with preserving our family and vacation memories.

The best small countryside pumpkin patch I have ever been to!…read moreWe drove (~50 miles/1 hr) out to Smiths Farm from the Chehalis WA Denny's restaurant after having breakfast (included Pumpkin Pancakes). Denny's is less than a mile at Exit 76 off I-5. Hwy 6 (Exit 77 off I-5) winds through small towns and the countryside along the Willapa River. It was a beautiful October day, we enjoyed the colorful fall foliage! The turn onto Camp 1 Rd is directly across from Willie Keils Grave Historical Marker. An interesting historical stop in itself. From Hwy 6 stay on Camp 1 Rd, you are less then 2 miles from Smiths. No entry fees!!!! There is plenty of free parking close to the patch! The owners have worked hard to create many things to see and do, I was very impressed. Everything was neat and tidy. The family farm is nicely laid out, with all games, shopping and other attractions set close to the pumpkin patch. There was a fun 10-foot-tall roll the ball game. You had to pull the handles attached to ropes to adjust the level of a board as you guided a ball along a cut out wooden pathway. Forgive me for not knowing the name. It was a game you could have seen 100 years ago. Free to play and all skill. It was fun to see both kids and adults try their luck! There were several great photo opportunities for one or more people, including a large backdrop in front of the pumpkin patch where a group of ten people could have snuggled in together. We shopped the cute hand-made wooden Halloween yard art. I loved the $5 hanging Ghost & $10 Black Cats stakes with name plates! I had to take some of these home... LOL! They had cute handmade/painted wooden 3D fence art. Dogs and roosters who were reclining across top/horizontal boards ($20-30). We also saw a huge birdhouse, 3 or 4 stories tall ($40). Adorable crochet pumpkin orange Jack-O-Lantern hats! There was a nice assortment of homemade/sewn bowl cozies and oversized mug mats & coaster. The owner made a great ATV pulled kids oil drum car ride! The 5 black cars are decorated with Jack-O-Lanters, ghost and moons. The pumpkin patch is neatly setup with walkways and a huge scarecrow. There are wheelbarrows to help you take you large pumpkin/s back to the wash station and out to your car/truck/SUV... This is just some of what is there, they have other games, play areas and items for sale. The people at the farm were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming! It did not matter if you were a single person out for a drive or a family of 10, you felt like you had been coming here for years! Smith Farm is open Sat & Sun 10AM-4PM
