This was a small pony carriage designed to haul children and their governess.

This is really a fun and engaging museum. It's small enough that you could spend just an hour if that's all you have, but it's got enough information and artifacts for a much longer visit. Really beautifully restored carriages, I never really had thought about what it would be like to ride in them, but I honestly feel like my visit today allowed me to have a better sense of life in the 1800s. My kids are really into the Anne of Green Gables books and we had such a good time re-enacting different scenes. They have a sweet recreation of a one-room school house that even my 3 year-old enjoyed. Loved all the old clothes and other things from the era.

Can you guess what that slot under the cask was used for?

Before the automobile there was the carriage. In fact, carriages of one sort or another date back to around 1900 BC and have been a part of moving man and his stuff far longer than the automobile. The Northwest Carriage Museum has a wonderful and well curated collection. You'll see examples of how both the wealthy and common travelled day to day as well as how they might have made their final journeys in Hearse carriages. There is also an interactive part of the museum for children. They can even choose from period clothing to dress in for photo ops in one of the carriages. You don't have to be a history buff to appreciate this museum. There is something for everyone and you'll come away with a greater knowledge and appreciation for wheeled travel.

What a great Labor Day surprise. This is a very interesting and well done museum with easy access off the highway. You don't need a lot of time unless you want to thoroughly look at the exhibits. There are placards with details and interesting side stories. It's a fun thing to take an hour or two and enjoy looking at history through the evolution of transportation in our country. Very informed staff.

I only wish there were more stars, but if I was a max that I could give. This was an extremely interesting museum was very knowledgeable staff. If you were a movie buff you'll enjoy the coach from gone with the wind and the coach from Shirley Temple's Little Princess. The museum also hosts and interactive section that is good for kids and adults alike. Several stunning example of coaches throughout the years painstakingly refurbished to like new condition. If you're in the area don't miss the chance to see this museum.

    Hearse carriage - so cool!

We stumbled upon this gem and couldn't have been happier. Great collection, beautiful displays, and one of the most engaged, informative, and kind staff person ever. So grateful to have found this place!

A beautiful wicker carriage! What style!

I have ordered flowers from various big companies in California (where the recipients reside) and was disappointed almost every time, regarding selection and value. We are all VERY pleased with Harbor Blooms! The flowers are always sovery fresh and not wilted. The vases are always so beautiful too. The flowers I received from my daughter today has the cutest fabric ribbon around the vase. My daughter says she loves ordering directly from HarborBlooms. I have several pictures to share here and I hope they all show up. We definitely recommend.

Delivered to the venue on time along with outside orders. This is the second time we used Harbor Blooms for a funeral event and would recommended not only the product but the excellent service. They may be the only florist in town but they would be the best even if they were one of a dozen.

There is a minimum purchase of $10 to use your card. Easy to do with several varieties of heirloom fruits and veggies. I saw a red Barlett pear which I have e never eaten before. It was very tart compared to the green pear. Would I go back? Yes. I like the produce quality and variety.
