Love this store! Perfect beach town store with everything from beachy decor to cozy and cute clothing. Not your typical beach souvenir shop

Surfer Girl - Pistachio Ice Cream on a waffle cone

I will end our week in Westport with a five-star review. Surfer Girl is right along the waterfront…read moreand I highly recommend you stop here when in Westport. We went twice. Both times I got the Marionberry Sorbet because that is just something I have never seen anywhere else. It is FANTASTIC! I got a single scoop on a regular cone the first visit. Second visit, I up-leveled to a double scoop in one of their fresh waffle cones. You can smell the waffle cones as you walk up the street. Your nose will know you are getting close to Surfer Girl! Anyway, it is a little pricey for the double scoop in a waffle cone, but so worth it! The amount they put in your cone is astronomicial. When I saw how much she was scooping for the first scoop, I thought she must be scooping out both scoops at once. Nope! That giant scoop went down into the cone and she put another giant scoop on top of that. It was far more than a pint you'd get at a grocery store. And that Marionberry Sorbet was so refreshing! My mom is a licorce fan and absolutely loved that they had licorice ice cream, despite it turning her lips and tongue black! And my daughter loved her cookies and cream and mint chip. 100% satisfaction across the board for all of us. This place is a must if you find yourself in Westport.

I have been on an ice cream kick all summer trying to visit as many creameries as possible. So…read moreafter a long day of fishing in Westport, I decided to give this little ice cream shop a try. I was dying of thirst and needed a place to use the bathroom. The location appears to be a gift shop with an ice cream business on the side. Regardless, it is conveniently located at the waterfront. The shop did not have a ridiculously number of flavors. I would say it had enough. I decided to try the Mango sorbet on a waffle cone. The ice cream was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by mango flavor. I think what I liked the most about it was that it wasn't super rich and that helped quench my thirst. I was dissapoined the establishment does not have public restrooms. Actually most the business in the area are the same way. After spending the day out on the boat fishing I was looking for a nice place to use the bathroom and rest for a little bit.

A fun little, touristy store with LOTS OF STUFF! Toys, trinkets, key chains, stuffed animals,…read moregames, refrigerator magnets, collectible shot glasses, sunglasses, some neat old-time lunch boxes, and many items that say "Long Beach, WA" on them, the best kind of souvenir. We've been in the store a couple times over the years looking for tie-die t-shirts and hoodies, of which they usually have a great selection. The day we went "finding," we didn't see a single adult size tie-die t-shirt in the whole store (we searched the whole town that day, actually) so will have to try again at some point. The real draw, in my opinion, is the selection of kites. Really good quality too. The nearby beach is the perfect place to fly them too. We usually visit tourist beach towns like Long Beach mid-week when kids are still in school so we've never had an issue with spotty customer service. So many complaints from other Yelpers makes me think you reap what you sow. Many people come in with kids making noise and running all over the place, touching everything, etc. If I were a shop owner or worker I'd get a tad perturbed too. Just saying. Will definitely be going back to Stormin Norman's next time we're in town. ZOLTAR even meets you at the door and can tell your personal fortune for a small fee.

Lots of coastal gifts to buy here. This also where you pay for mini golf. I could buy tons of…read morethings from here. Not that I didn't already but I'm sure if your looking for gifts to bring back home or something for yourself, you'll have plenty to choose from here. Don't forget to play putt-putt golf.

Walking the plank is an activity generally not recommended for one's health, but the Basket House…read moremake a strong case otherwise. At the end of the Westport pier, you'll find a claustrophobic cave of treasures, ranging from clothes and apparel, jewelry, souvenirs, shells, stones, toys, magnets, home décor, books, games, puzzles, glassworks, and a lot more, stuffed into every corner, nook and cranny, hanging from the ceiling or dangling from the walls, almost all of it nautical, piratical (is that a word? it should be!) or (Pacific) northwestical in nature. This is the gift shop to end all gift shops; the Tamatebako; the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...or, at the very least, at the end of the dock. So, take a short walk down a long pier (wait...scratch that, reverse it!) and check out what the basket cases at Basket House have for sale!

They have a lot of fun items and I ended up buying a wooden sticker because the saleslady said, "They really hold up when you put them on your water bottle." Girl, we just met but you know my heart. They have everything from clothing to squishy toys so it's worth a look at. If you go, you'll see the sign but the closer you get, you'll think where's the store? Just keep walking to the end and it will be the building to the right and the door is on the corner. Check it out!
